Good idea, JohnUk. Thanks for going back to your real name. My I-phone recognizes that name. I’m not going there either besides everyone on here knows how I feel about the Grahams. If they think he’s too rich or too political or too whatever then they can take it up with God. That way I don’t have to try to prove to something to someone who sees different. Have a great day and many blessings. I’m getting ready for SS, we are in book of Mark. Even though I have read it many times, I never fail to find something that helps me with whatever God wants to teach me that I might need to learn.

Watcher, I do agree with what you’re saying about the poor and rich and Jesus warned about showing partially. Example to allow the rich to have the best seat . Then He said the poor widow was commended for what she put in the offering plate however small because she gave all she had and the rich man gave out of his plenty. Thanks for replying and I understand what you are saying and you are so right!

Thanks for your insight Dolores, I am however, hesitant to give God glory for someone's success. Yes, God is sovereign, and ultimately is in charge of everything, but just because a "Christian" seems to be blessed because of their viewpoints, doesn't necessarily mean they are being blessed by God directly. Many "Christians" are quite wealthy in the world's eyes, but are not even biblically saved(Trump comes to mind). Many "Christians" stand against the LGBTQ juggernaut, but that doesn't mean they are genuine Christians. We must be careful to differentiate between a real genuine Christian (who will usually be poor) and a false convert Christian who is usually seeking riches. That is a big generalization, I know, but it tends to fit a lot of the time.
I know for a fact that Abraham was a very rich man and others I go to church with are very dedicated to Christ. Me, we had 4 children and only my husband worked outside the home because he wanted me to stay home and have his supper ready when he got home and be there when kids got home from school. I had plans to be a teacher but really glad I didn't even if we lived paycheck from paycheck. The owner only said during an interview that he believed God's plan for marriage was male and femal

Sorry about the misleading comment. It is not a sign that Israel is going to be the Church that is the Harlot church of the AntiChrist or the false Prophet. It will occur to them that this man that they thought was the Messiah was actually profaning the temple and that's when the tribulation will begin for them and the world as a whole. Like I said I don't know everything and I don't think we need to, just be prepared for His return is the message I am trying to say. For all we know the harlot Church could be the World Wide United Churches. Thing is there will be wheat and tares in everyone of them. The reapers will separate them at the time of the Harvest. Disagree, fine with me because if we understood everything, then we would be God, now wouldn't we. God gives what we need to know and I leave the rest up to Him to reveal.

John, I know Jesus was talking about the signs of the end time when he mentioned the fig tree .Like you quoted that in Jesus’s parables the fig tree was symbolic of Israel. The withered fig symbolizes the fruitless, sinful Israel at that time. All I am saying is they will rebuild the temple in which the Antichrist will set himself up in their rebuilt temple as ther Messiah to be worshipped by them. I don’t claim to know all about the end time. Who and when will the Antichrist appear??!! Will there be a rapture or will we have to go through the Great Tribulation?? I don’t know the hour or time but I can look at the signs all around me and see that the fig tree is putting on it’s leaves and Israel just back in her land that was given to her by God is a sign that tells me that in order for the temple to be rebuilt Israel had to be back in her land. If anyone disagrees with me that’s more than ok. with me because I don’t agree with everything posted on this forum.

He said to them, Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, permitted you to divorce your wives but from the beginning it.was not so. And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife except for sexual immorality and marries another commits adultery and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery. Matthew 19:9 I am so thankful every time I get on this forum that God knows me and is my Judge not man or woman.

This was in the mall, Douglas, with security guards that will be on alert. This happened 12 years ago and neither one have been robbed again. We have 2 in our town.Other robbery have occurred. Home invasions also.
Watcher, Chick-Fil-A has been boycotted here because of their stand against homosexuality. That day Christians all over town came to eat. It was amazing. Different denomination, didn’t matter.Airport recently refused to allow them to put a Chic-Fil-A there .They are certainly not always spoken well of. As Christians all over the world suffer some sort of persecution so will we as we near end times.

This is today’s news not something that can be ignored. World government, globalism, world religion. Jesus said to look at the signs that He clearly gave in Matthew so we would not be taken unaware. Learn from the fig tree, when it begins to put on leaves, then summer is nigh. When these things come to pass the end is near. The fig tree signifies Israel, keep your eyes on Israel. Right now we are seeing attacks on them and the hot spots in the Middle East need watching.

Kudos for you, going to church, Douglas fir. It is a good place to eat and staff are so nice. Once when I was there for lunch, I heard them discussing a robbery that had taken place earlier and the manager was injured when he attacked the robber and stopped the robbery. Later he came in with a sling on his arm and he was talking to the coworkers who seemed concerned about his welfare. Interesting lunch I had that day.

I, see signs everywhere pointing to the end time prophecies. The Pope is a powerful man in the Catholic Church so what he says is unbelievable in that a world government is what brings in the Antichrist. He apparently is being used by Someone other than God. Problem is too many people, either don’t read their Bible or don’t understand what they read. Israel is not the Harlot, even they’re included in the fact that those from the North will come against them to destroy them. God will never allow them to be destroyed.

Dr. Tim, that’s amazing what your comment revealed about the Amen, told the angel what to tell the church of Laodicea. Proof of how we learn from each other.

Hi Christropher, just read your post and it is exactly how it happened. I believe they had a heart for God, knew Him enough to cry out to Him, gave Him the glory rather than excuse it away as a coincidence, like some would have and it went viral. Now, how wonderful is that??!!

Right Douglas Fir, strange how these parables just pop in our minds, almost word for word. I find it amazing because I find it hard at times to remember a name or wherever did I put that whatever?!! You are so right about the laborers as well. I think about my dad that wasted his life on wine, women and song . Got saved in the Nursing Home about 3 months before he died at age 85 and said that he wished he had done this years ago. Never saw him so happy. Jesus is saying that a person can be just as saved on their death bed as someone like me that was saved at 12 years. But my life has been much more fulfilling and happier even in the bad times all these years .

God works in mysterious ways His wonders to perform. Interesting that they asked before they received and they will never forget this miracle. A story they will tell their children. God does tell us in His word that we have not because we ask not.

You are so right about both preachers, Christopher, so interesting that you were raised under Warren W. preaching. Read his books, wonderful men of God, Irwin L as well! Thanks for sharing that, very encouraging.
Hello, John Lee,I agree with justification being a one time incident. I remember someone explaining to me, that it means in simple terms, just as if I had never sinned. We were given Jesus’s Righteousness at the new Birth. We had none at all. Good lessons.

The man, obviously has a mental problem as well as spiritual. A born again Christian who is led by the Holy Spirit, could not, would not do that. I’m reminded of what Jesus said, “ Not everyone that says,Lord, Lord will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, only those that do the will of my Father.” A man sowed wheat on a plot of land.Sometime during the night the enemy came and sowed Tares. The man was told not to try to pull the Tares up but let them grow together and when ripe the reaper will separate the wheat from the Tares and they will be thrown into the fire.

So glad for you, John, because you have found the place God wants you to be and that’s so important. I have worshipped in different Churches at different times and found when I needed to leave, God had another place for me to serve. Prayers for your place of worship as well.

Thanks Christropher and Dr Tim and Connor and Fred and all that post on here to not take myself so seriously. And I am learning some important lessons from all of you on here as well, God uses each of us even if we don’t realize it at times, even when it’s just a fun break that makes me laugh 🤭

Well, are you at peace where you are now? Using gifts, God’s given you, serving Him where He places you. even on here. I know I am an irritant to most but still led to say what He has given me to give out. Will be praying for you and your ministry wherever it is and your migraines and don’t leave ever as I don’t have anyone to talk to and learn from.
