Well, my point was why is she musing over something that anyone that reads the Bible and comments, like she and you have all the answers and I think ( just musing) that the ones that are most stanch on their beliefs are not even reading the Bible or attending any church. Why the guessing?? Why not just accept what the scripture says, the rich young ruler went away sorrowful. Well, my answer is because it would put a clink in your theory and many errors about God.

I am on Facebook and have a few games I play and hear the news from friends I went to church with for the years my husband worked there until his retirement. Like US, we too hear of and pray for each other as the need arises, that otherwise I would never know about. I see pictures of family members and even the teenagers that hung out at my house all grown up with families of their own and pictures of them. If I didn’t have that time with them on Facebook and their love for me and prayers for each other through Facebook, life would be a little empty because God gives us that need for Christian fellowship however we get it.

Wow, ms, how could the rich young ruler be Saul when he meet Jesus on the Road to Damascus after Jesus’s death. Jesus appeared to him in a vision and Saul was saved and the disciples were afraid of him at first and couldn’t believe he was saved. This reminds me of how different ones take scripture out of context, put their spin on it and vola, I just proved truth.

Well, Christropher you just judged me because I won’t judge even when you clearly stated that no one has any excuse because the scripture clearly says this and that which actually boils down to my beliefs and not yours. And if I don’t condemn you (by the way that’s not showing love) because my beliefs are truth and if you don’t believe my way then you are doomed to hell.
When certain people post on here it gets so crazy and confusing that I actually feel like I am in the twilight zone and that’s all folks! No hard feelings, on my part.😭

sc, I don’t believe shunning people who are Catholic and lumping them all in a go to hell in a hand basket!! I actually do know about the Catholic Church and the things they believe which I disagree with mostly is why I belong to a Baptist Church with a pastor who is an ex Catholic with a brother and family that still are. And you know what, you would be the first ( well maybe 2nd, or 3rds or more) to tell me how much is wrong with this Church and condemn me for being divorced without knowing anything about me or the situation I was in, the reason for the divorce and the pain and suffering I went through. I am the first one that will tell anyone how horrible divorce is because I been there, done that and know first hand why God hates divorce. Have a good day, sc no hard feelings .

Ms, thanks for your concern but me and the Holy Spirit will be just fine, thank you. He has helped me with discernment of spirits, gave me comfort when I had cancer in 2004, when my husband had 5 stents in the widow maker (main artery) and 2 in another. 2006. A son that got on drugs and went back to Alabama, don’t hear from him much. God has been really good to me with my other 3 children being Christians, a girl that’s a teacher, a son who is a CRNA, another that drives an eighteen wheeler. I have been too blessed to be depressed.
Dr. Tim, you have been a joy on here and make me laugh 😂 when things get too, well you know what I mean. You are a fine Christian man and a blessing on here.

By the way, all you Judges of all the unrighteousness of others that don’t live up to your standards, be sure and get that plank out of your own eye before you try to get the speck out of someone else’s eye. Jesus’s words, Matthew 7 and since there is someone on here that’s having problems with understanding God’s Love reread 5 and 6 as well. I did and always never fails to make me seek to do what He deems the better way. The upside down Kingdom I call it, totally different than the worldly Kingdom.

MS, I was not angry at you or actually anyone when trying to make a point on here by using past examples. I feel hatred coming from you and others on here but I don’t care,actually.
One more time and I’m off this thread. First of all I’m not judging you either for what you believe. You asked me what has Romans 14 got to do with it because it’s about believers and meat, drink etc. That said and please correct me if I misunderstood, that BM is not a believer so why read something that pertains to believers. Why would I be angry because I don’t actually see things the way she does either so we are on the same page with that one. If you have a different opinion of someone and that’s all it is an opinion, fine. Actually, I was relaying to Frank’s Roman scripture and not you. I am truly sorry if you thought I was angry.😢

I see it as another sign we are in the end times. Pestilence, in different places and earthquakes quakes, wars and rumors of wars. Some are so busy looking and picking out splinters in other people’s eyes that they have let the oil slowly burn out and have no more to put in.

Well, MS, I’ll explain as best I can. I have seen so much discord on here because of differences in beliefs, their interpretation of what the truth is., so they lash out at those who disagree. You are saying this is for believers only and you just judged her to going to hell. You say, that the Grahams are heretical because they don’t hate this or that religion because he doesn’t judge them. They have done more good for the kingdom of God than anyone else who sits in Judgement of them. You have no way of knowing them, yet you Judge them. Then those who love them and see them differently are judged as heretic as well. I don’t agree with lots of Christians but not to the point of condemning them for false beliefs, which causes discord among the brethren which is spoken against in God’s word God did not make us all out of the same cookie cutter.

Quite Christian, you sound like a true blood bought , born again child of God and your post are very edifying to me because I can sense your love for the brethren which is a true sign you belong to Christ. It’s a little strange that Satan has help from certain “Christians” in tearing down others they disagree with . Personally, I don’t think women should be pastors or preacher . There are other places that God can use their gifts .

I agree, Carl. I have read the birth rate in America is at an all time low and there is growing concern about it. Now why is that ?!!
Well, we can start with less money coming in to pay taxes which pays Social Security, People who run the country as well as the Armed Forces to protect our country, need money, etc, etc. Plus storing up the wrath of God to be poured out on America when the Cup is full from rampant sin and the slaughtering of innocent babies. Actually it is worldwide. And Satan just loves it when we get off the real situation onto the unimportant. By the way, Muslim women are like the women described on here and don’t Catholic women cover their heads?? I remember a time when we wore hats to Church and I miss it but then I loved the dresses as well. Alas, now Church doesn’t resemble that era anymore but I still go and try to be all God wants me to be.

This reminds me that God can reach anyone, anywhere, anyway. And His forgiveness knows no bounds. He forgives and puts our sins in the sea of forgetfulness and puts a “No Fishing Sign “. Satan wants to bring it back to our remembrance and uses it to bring us down spiritually and mentally . He is the accuser of the brethren and can even use friends like Job, to do the accusing.
