God works in mysterious ways His wonders to perform. Interesting that they asked before they received and they will never forget this miracle. A story they will tell their children. God does tell us in His word that we have not because we ask not.

You are so right about both preachers, Christopher, so interesting that you were raised under Warren W. preaching. Read his books, wonderful men of God, Irwin L as well! Thanks for sharing that, very encouraging.
Hello, John Lee,I agree with justification being a one time incident. I remember someone explaining to me, that it means in simple terms, just as if I had never sinned. We were given Jesus’s Righteousness at the new Birth. We had none at all. Good lessons.

The man, obviously has a mental problem as well as spiritual. A born again Christian who is led by the Holy Spirit, could not, would not do that. I’m reminded of what Jesus said, “ Not everyone that says,Lord, Lord will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, only those that do the will of my Father.” A man sowed wheat on a plot of land.Sometime during the night the enemy came and sowed Tares. The man was told not to try to pull the Tares up but let them grow together and when ripe the reaper will separate the wheat from the Tares and they will be thrown into the fire.

So glad for you, John, because you have found the place God wants you to be and that’s so important. I have worshipped in different Churches at different times and found when I needed to leave, God had another place for me to serve. Prayers for your place of worship as well.

Thanks Christropher and Dr Tim and Connor and Fred and all that post on here to not take myself so seriously. And I am learning some important lessons from all of you on here as well, God uses each of us even if we don’t realize it at times, even when it’s just a fun break that makes me laugh 🤭

Well, are you at peace where you are now? Using gifts, God’s given you, serving Him where He places you. even on here. I know I am an irritant to most but still led to say what He has given me to give out. Will be praying for you and your ministry wherever it is and your migraines and don’t leave ever as I don’t have anyone to talk to and learn from.

Inspiring to hear others give testimony of how God has and still is. working in someone’s life. This reminds me of David Wilkerson and his street preaching winning Nicky Cruz out of his gang activity to serving God. God used street preaching to reach people that might never enter a church building. A.W Towzer on his way home from work was touched enough to find a church to attend and was saved. What happened next John?

So sad and for what, to be given 5 virgins when they get to wherever think they are going. My son said, they will say,” Somebody lied.” Amen to that in the meantime Satan is using that lie( after all he is the father of lies) to attack and slaughter God’s people including children. Heartbreaking.

I have a friend in the Church I attend and we both agree that things may change for the worse because of the new president. So far our pastor still holds to old school. thinking and has been in a series of sermons upholding these values. He put a guardrail next to the pulpit and an ambulance to the importance of warnings and rescue when people don’t heed the warnings, go through the guardrail and needs rescuing by the churches. He has not shied away from preaching in a calm way but firmly.

Fred, your comment is worth a lot to me.You see, I felt strongly that I do need to be on here to help someone that might not post but need some encouragement. I appreciate your posts as well. Thanks for the blessings I received from your comments.

John, a big thanks for helping me see things in a different light. Only God knows why and used you once again ( my mentor) to help me feel better about myself and being on this forum. I prayed about this and feel led to continue on and not listen to Satan’s discouragement. You felt the same way apparently and came back on here and so glad you did. Only problem my phone has you as JohnUk because I used that monkier so often it automatically brings it up even now. I will try harder and will follow your example..and others that have to forgive and be forgiven on this forum.

I feel really a little unsettled on here John , like I don’t belong and make too many waves and that bothers me. Maybe we’ll see one another in heaven someday when we are all perfected. Won’t that be wonderful??!! Anyway, thanks for being my mentor for awhile. Have a blessed life.

John, an apology for my recent angry response on the Easter thread to you and snarky remarks about another on here. No excuses, I was wrong and that’s that. Have repented and asked God’s forgiveness and asking for others I probably offended as well. So sorry forgive me ?? I think I am on here seeking Christian fellowship and all that which is really impossible with all the difference we have. Love in Christ

John, so glad to hear you say this because I have been put down called ecumenical, hurt by certain ones on here that wanted me off here through the attitude, just ignore her then because she’s heretic. Now, this same man, has no followers to speak of, because he threw them to the curb and now are where I was on here .you see, God will help you with this in his own ways and His own timing And plenty lessons learned along the way.
ups, just to let you know, I knew you were actually talking to Douglas, but wanted to give my reason for not commenting on this subject and did despite my misgivings.

When Dr Tim went from that monkier to another was because of confusion by some of the dr,so He said well just call me plain Tim. Totally different than what JohnUk did. Stay off and then come back on as John Lee. Confusion for some but not me. I knew .
Nice try ,Frank.

Fred, I liked your post and I agree. Jesus loved the sinners even ate with them which caused the Pharisees and Sadducee ( which by the way didn’t believe in the resurrection) to add that to their list of grievances The self righteous was the ones he gave fault to.
As far as Easter goes, I agree, Quite Christian. Since I am Baptist, I find the snarky remarks of sc and John as offensive and judgmental and self righteous.I have observed Easter since I was a kid.As I got older, I attended sunrise services which I found wonderful, with hymns and preaching from one of the churches each year as they took turns. I loved the service and not the sun coming up and we all met in the football stadium on hard benches, which no one complained about, later we all went to our different churches to finish our Saviour’s resurrection celebration.

UPS, I have not commented on this thread because I am not comfortable debating on this issue. It’s not a big deal to me to argue about.
However, since I am now on here; there was a woman in my small town of 700 who was a Jew that had to drive 60 miles to attend a synagogue there. She told us a story about a time when they were celebrating Passover and before the meal they always invited Elijah in and so a little boy was sent outside to look for him. When he came back and was asked if he had arrived. With a straight face he ,said, no I. didn’t see his car. Of course, everyone laughed, she said. She was well liked in our small community and was active in the activities going on in the community. As far as I know she never was converted into a Believer of Christ.

These that attack are what has been referred to as the spirit of the Antichrist. And will continue on until the real deal appears supposedly to bring peace among the people. Things are good for awhile does miracles even, through his false prophet but things change as he shows his true colors. And you think this is horrific, you ain’t seen nothing yet until the Man of Perdition is revealed. This can happen at anytime or any place and churches are a soft target. This will only get worse as we near the end of the age.

Hi, John a few minutes ago the news showed all the carnage done and reported 300 deaths so far.It was Islamist militants that sent suicide bombers but someone was behind it all and they are still searching for them.So sad for all those families.
