There are some crazies out there that can cause harm both physically and mentally. Seems like their plans to oust Kavanaugh has strengthened the resolve of the Republicans to fight socialism and left wing antics.
Hey Lurker and Tim, yes I am afraid youâre probably right. Things will only get worse as time goes on as Paul has said in one of his letters it is like birth pains as we get closer to the end times the more evil the world will get until the return of Jesus. People that are aware can sense this and are not caught unaware. The baby is born and the joy of the birth causes the pain to be forgotten. Keep your lamps burning Christian because the Bridegroom is coming soon for His Bride.
So true, thatâs what Jesus meant as he gave the parable of the ten virgins. 5 wise and were prepared with oil in their lamps and 5 foolish who had not gotten saved and were not ready to meet the Bridegroom. The oil being the Holy Spirit and given as a gift by Christ to keep us and help us in our Christian walk. I saw this news on my IPhone a few minutes ago. This life is so short and uncertain, eternity forever.
I have a friend that had a mentally challenged child. She lost two husbands but still has her daughter living with her and is a blessing to her in her loneliness. They take walks together and are there for each other. She has 3 other children, all married with children. Like Dale Evans once said about their Down child being an angel unaware which is the name of a book she wrote about her. So kudos to our wonderful President!!
Fine Jim, last I heard itâs still a free country. I will always vote for the one I believe God wants me to. I donât need links to tell me how wrong I am or who to believe because I have the Holy Spirit to guide me and thatâs all I need. I have Pentecostal in-laws thatâs Dems. My husband âs brother is a preacher in the strictest of the strict sect. How he can vote on the most liberal of the liberals Democratic Party and preach on makeup, long hair, dresses only for women with a straight face is beyond my understanding. No links to go to that proves my point, just plain God given common sense.
From the very beginning of the World Council of Churches, I believed they would be the false Church that supports the Anti Christ during the Great Tribulation. I read what they stand for even now and am more convinced than ever that I may very well be right.
She was drinking a coke out of the bottle with the name well in view, so..Was Coca Cola part of her payment plan?? Lot of dirty rich millionaires have been known to pay people to riot and disrupt since Trump became president so..I think Democrats are playing Dirty Pool. I saw everything this prosecutor said she saw as well. I saw on Fox News how the family of Kavanaugh are being harassed to the point of fleeing their home. Prayers for the family.
I agree, Christopher I watched it as well. She was unemotional other than just nervous in speaking in front of millions of people. Her agenda was hatred of Trump and his nominee. Listening to a woman on Lou Dobbs said exactly how I felt. She brought out that she was one of the women who were wearing the shameful fur hates and protesting Trump as President. That told me a lot about her. She would have remembered every detail about that encounter if it happened. Thatâs something you never forget. She went to a party that had drunken boys there at age 15 without parents knowledge and stayed and drank also. Went upstairs with 2 boys following behind her(were there two bathrooms) ?? She wanted this story to get out and did it through a tip line in a newspaper. Made her story feel wrong to me and the lady that the Republican picked for the cross examination was not what they needed as well. I heard this from a law professor and he gave examples of how it should have been done. What he pointed out were mythoughts as well! I guess the vote today will tell us if it worked or not.
Interesting subject with lots of comments on this one. I for one have thanked God that I never had to work outside the home. To do so would have been devastating for our home life.My husband âs mother worked and he hated coming home to a cold house even though he had 3 siblings. So we decided that I would stay home and be there when he and the kids came home with a hot meal waiting after a hard day at the power co. He worked a lot of overtime for that reason. Was it easy, no but we did fine even though we werenât able to have a lot of luxuries but God supplied all our needs. My family learned a lot from these experiences and they have never said they wished I had worked. It worked for us because thatâs what we both wanted. My daughter, a teacher chose to work and still is working. Raised a fine son as a single mom. .
When God brought Jesus into the world to be our savior, He used a virgin(not a man) to bring forth the one who was to bring salvation to a dark world without hope. The baby, a boy (not a girl) was born, through this young woman in a stable and placed in a manger. Not in a castle to an earthly kingdom but the kingdom of God, to reign forever on the Throne of David foretold by prophets of old. God, my Father, said it in His Word and I believe it!!
Actually we are seeing the Judgement of God on a nation that is getting further and further away Him and His ways .I love the song âThe Midnight Cryâ The part that says the signs are everywhere and then Son go bring your children home. I am moved to tears when I think about the warnings all around us and like in the days of Noah when no one heeded those either.
Cont: Thatâs why we were stunned when some of our advertising for the festival was removed by the local bus company, whose double-decker buses carried our banners that read,âTime for Hopeâ. He goes on to explain why all this is happening and asking for prayers from everyone.
I get Franklin Grahamâs Decision magazine every month and the more recent one he has articles in there about the problems the team has encountered so far and is asking everyone to pray for this festival for God. One pastor is standing with him and giving encouragement and other churches are calling for their people to attend the meeting and give support. So I will pray. Here is an excerpt from his own words.âLike people in our own country, the English people are facing Challenges on multiple fronts, with the growing influence of Islam, unemployment and rising crime. In fact, Blackpool,( where this is going to be held) has been identified as aâcrime hotspot âand has the forth highest murder rate in all of the Uk. Sexual assault and domestic violence exceed national averages, and alcohol and drug abuse are a growing problem in a city where life expectancy is the lowest in the Uk.
@ Allie. I totally agree with you and thank you for sharing your thoughts. God has placed us where we are at and expects us to bloom where we are at this moment. We carry the name of Christ and should live our lives like we do. I want my light to shine I want to help people by sharing what Christ has brought into my life, joy unspeakable and full of glory. If I am practicing sin (living together without marriage, homosexual marriage, and any other sin in our lives that is causing us to be in bondage) We will fail at times but know it and immediately turn to Him for forgiveness. He discplines those that are his children until they learn some very important lessons. I have been there and it is not a pleasant place to be. I turn to Christ and even grow during these because He discplines out of His love for His own. Read Hebrews and the lives of his own disciples, Peter who was told by Paul how wrong he was when he refused to eat with the Gentiles when he was around his friends the Judaizing Jews that were sent by James. Galatians 2:11-14. Thatâs why I have morning Devotionals to prepare for whatever I have to face that day.
I am not a fan of John MacArthur.(JohnUk âs words rings true to me as well) either. He has a book out called Strange Fire which I believe has caused a lot of confusion about the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.(and who is the author of confusion and would benefit most by this) We are not saved by works but by faith in Jesus Christ and His death on the cross. We come to Him empty with nothing to offer but ourselves..In our walk with Him we start a life of being santified(under construction).to help me with this I am given power of the Holy Spirit .As A W Tozer puts it in his book Alive in the Spirit. My journey began,of course, with my conversion and was accented by my being filled with the Holy Spirit. That however was only the beginning. From that moment on, I have been walking in fellowship with God..Not a perfect walk,I assure you. Those who claim to have a perfect walk probably do not understand the scriptures in this regard. The fact that my walk is not perfect has encouraged me to always fall back on the Holy Spirit and His guidance and strength. Unquote Couldnât have said it better.
