My grandmother is full blooded Indian and father is half. On mom’s side (Patton) her grandfather came from Virginia and are Scottish. So I have my bone structure from Dad and fair skin and blonde hair from mom’s side. The high cheekbones from dad and pre cancer skin type on face. And other problems with Roscea from mom. Anyway, my son worked sometimes 3 jobs to put himself through college which took much longer to finish and a loan of around $100,000. He is a CRNA at a local hospital and after 10 years paid it off. He favors my father so he probably could have gotten some grants but didn’t even try. My grandmother ‘s family got upset because she married a White man. After having 5 kids he left her, got a divorce and she and kids winds up back on the reservation. When I came into the picture, they were living in Tuscaloosa, Alabama where my father lived with his family. He was the only boy but the grown girls took care of their mother for the rest of her life she lived with each of them.

I remember reading about A.W.Tozer who was never taken to Church as a child and didn’t know much about God or the Bible. He was a young man when he was leaving work and heading home, He saw a crowd gathered around this man and stopped to hear a message that started him thinking about his life and was the start of his salvation. God sent a girl into his life and he found God there and she later became his wife. Amazing story about a well known preacher and how God used him. He has sermons here on SA. God works in mysterious ways His wonders to perform!!

Of course they would call upon Satan, he’s their father. He uses his own to harass and provoke Christians.

There are some crazies out there that can cause harm both physically and mentally. Seems like their plans to oust Kavanaugh has strengthened the resolve of the Republicans to fight socialism and left wing antics.

Hey Lurker and Tim, yes I am afraid you’re probably right. Things will only get worse as time goes on as Paul has said in one of his letters it is like birth pains as we get closer to the end times the more evil the world will get until the return of Jesus. People that are aware can sense this and are not caught unaware. The baby is born and the joy of the birth causes the pain to be forgotten. Keep your lamps burning Christian because the Bridegroom is coming soon for His Bride.

So true, that’s what Jesus meant as he gave the parable of the ten virgins. 5 wise and were prepared with oil in their lamps and 5 foolish who had not gotten saved and were not ready to meet the Bridegroom. The oil being the Holy Spirit and given as a gift by Christ to keep us and help us in our Christian walk. I saw this news on my IPhone a few minutes ago. This life is so short and uncertain, eternity forever.

I have a friend that had a mentally challenged child. She lost two husbands but still has her daughter living with her and is a blessing to her in her loneliness. They take walks together and are there for each other. She has 3 other children, all married with children. Like Dale Evans once said about their Down child being an angel unaware which is the name of a book she wrote about her. So kudos to our wonderful President!!

Fine Jim, last I heard it’s still a free country. I will always vote for the one I believe God wants me to. I don’t need links to tell me how wrong I am or who to believe because I have the Holy Spirit to guide me and that’s all I need. I have Pentecostal in-laws that’s Dems. My husband ‘s brother is a preacher in the strictest of the strict sect. How he can vote on the most liberal of the liberals Democratic Party and preach on makeup, long hair, dresses only for women with a straight face is beyond my understanding. No links to go to that proves my point, just plain God given common sense.

From the very beginning of the World Council of Churches, I believed they would be the false Church that supports the Anti Christ during the Great Tribulation. I read what they stand for even now and am more convinced than ever that I may very well be right.

She was drinking a coke out of the bottle with the name well in view, so..Was Coca Cola part of her payment plan?? Lot of dirty rich millionaires have been known to pay people to riot and disrupt since Trump became president so..I think Democrats are playing Dirty Pool. I saw everything this prosecutor said she saw as well. I saw on Fox News how the family of Kavanaugh are being harassed to the point of fleeing their home. Prayers for the family.

I agree, Christopher I watched it as well. She was unemotional other than just nervous in speaking in front of millions of people. Her agenda was hatred of Trump and his nominee. Listening to a woman on Lou Dobbs said exactly how I felt. She brought out that she was one of the women who were wearing the shameful fur hates and protesting Trump as President. That told me a lot about her. She would have remembered every detail about that encounter if it happened. That’s something you never forget. She went to a party that had drunken boys there at age 15 without parents knowledge and stayed and drank also. Went upstairs with 2 boys following behind her(were there two bathrooms) ?? She wanted this story to get out and did it through a tip line in a newspaper. Made her story feel wrong to me and the lady that the Republican picked for the cross examination was not what they needed as well. I heard this from a law professor and he gave examples of how it should have been done. What he pointed out were mythoughts as well! I guess the vote today will tell us if it worked or not.

Interesting subject with lots of comments on this one. I for one have thanked God that I never had to work outside the home. To do so would have been devastating for our home life.My husband ‘s mother worked and he hated coming home to a cold house even though he had 3 siblings. So we decided that I would stay home and be there when he and the kids came home with a hot meal waiting after a hard day at the power co. He worked a lot of overtime for that reason. Was it easy, no but we did fine even though we weren’t able to have a lot of luxuries but God supplied all our needs. My family learned a lot from these experiences and they have never said they wished I had worked. It worked for us because that’s what we both wanted. My daughter, a teacher chose to work and still is working. Raised a fine son as a single mom.

When God brought Jesus into the world to be our savior, He used a virgin(not a man) to bring forth the one who was to bring salvation to a dark world without hope. The baby, a boy (not a girl) was born, through this young woman in a stable and placed in a manger. Not in a castle to an earthly kingdom but the kingdom of God, to reign forever on the Throne of David foretold by prophets of old. God, my Father, said it in His Word and I believe it!!

Actually we are seeing the Judgement of God on a nation that is getting further and further away Him and His ways .I love the song “The Midnight Cry” The part that says the signs are everywhere and then Son go bring your children home. I am moved to tears when I think about the warnings all around us and like in the days of Noah when no one heeded those either.
