Interesting Christopher, even if they aren’t listening others around the globe are. That’s why they have itching ears and seek out the teachers that will say things that keep them from God’s truths. We are living in the last days and how exciting to watch these things unfold.

Kudos to the wife of our Vice President. I had a cousin that was gay and this was back when life was a lot simpler and we as teenagers knew right from wrong. The way I saw her was not that she was inferior but that she was odd and what she was doing was wrong. Simple as that. Her sister had a baby out of wedlock and it had cerebral palsy. She saw me as a Christian and since I had a normal baby in wedlock she saw her sins as punishment by God. I loved both of them and saw my own imperfections and thought how can she see me as being loved by God to give me a healthy baby? A Christian is a light to a sin darkened world in spite of their imperfections . So the dark world can’t stand to have their sins being revealed to themselves and others so they try to put the light out by threatening and punishing them but actually it’s God they are shutting their ears to.Her Light shines bright as she stands on the truths of God.

I have noticed some Christians, in a good way, without malice, saying,”God showed up and showed out.” Or the Man Upstairs in praise of something God had done for them. And like sc said, that we shouldn’t use the word gay.. It is taken out of context the real meaning of gay. Just some thoughts that I have.about being reverent when using God’s name. He has many names with different meanings , for instance, Jehovah, our Provider.

Sc, you are so right in that its the people the country as a whole that’s causing all the rampant sins as the Israel people did in the days of the reign of Ahab and his wife Jezabel. Judgement was brought on the nation through the capture and bondage by the Babylonians. The sin that finally brought Judgement was when they sacrificed their children at the altar of Baal. God heard the cries of the Children even if they did not. Abortion was legalized when America began dramatically turning away from God and it’s biblical foundations, in the mid-and late twentieth century, that it also embraced the killing of its unborn children. And we know the rest of the story and it ain’t pretty. Blessings sc and Christopher, thanks for sharing your thoughts as well.

As a wife and mother of three sons,,I have enjoyed my role as both.I was a stay at home mom and loved being able to do so. I love the fact and embrace being a woman.I have a strong husband who has worked hard to support his family. He is not perfect but so do I. I love that he is strong and protective of me and gladly give him the job of leadership of our home. I have watched our sons to grow up and become the same as their father hard working and great husbands and fathers .God has given me the role that only a woman can fulfill because she is different than a man. Each has their part to be and do as His will for them.

Just a word in support of JohnUk as some have given their words of rebuke against him, I give my words of support for him. He doesn’t agree with me on things I believe at times not me on his however we both see each other as blood washed sister and brother in the body of Christ each given special gifts from God to be used for the kingdom of God. You have yours, I have mine. I give account for how I lived my life, you give account for yours. Actually I have enjoyed reading the different ways we each carry on with our ministries and the encouragement that I’ve been given and hopefully given back. Things can get heated when we get on our differences, but we still have that deep Agape love because of who we are in Christ.

The Dems are wanting control of our country and the people that vote them in want freedom from God and His commandments and His way. We are now in a culture war that actually began during the Bill Clinton time in office. Never in our history has there been such open sinful behavior and actual approval coming from our government Commandments of God taken down in government places. Schools without prayer or Bible reading, filth in movies, killing of babies in the womb, persecution of Christians that stand for their beliefs and are run out of their businesses because of it. Our world is in a dark place and the stage is being set for the Anti Christ to appear. Keep those lamps full of oil, trimmed and burning Christian for the,Good Man of the House is coming Back.

Just something I heard recently Douglas, it probably was done in the 1800’s. We have a place in Arkansas called ‘Old Washington ‘ with a preservation of the civil war. Interesting place to visit. I went on a field trip with my daughters class and we were taken to a cemetery that has ipeople buried there during that era. The Tombstones were interesting to read., not like our modern graves . The first Governor of Arkansas was buried in the town we lived in for years. Didn’t know about how the Jews are buried in a place separated from others. I find that interesting. As a teenager we went to grave yards to party and hang out. Crazy kids we were.

All graves are facing east because that’s where Jesus is going to appear (the eastern sky)at His second Coming.. I love that. I have had friends that were cremated and that’s fine, too. We will have a new body anyway.
Happy and Blessed New Year to all.

John Uk, you go to a very interesting church or services that sounds different than any I have been to. If ever I am in your neck of the woods, I just might go to see what I’ve been missing.Blessings and top of the morning to you.

I don’t think we should be throwing,”the baby out with the bath water.” The hymnal taken out of churches and replaced with songs that to me and others has no meaning much at all. Songs have always helped me and spoke to my heart. I have been so down and going through some trial and a song was sung that lifted my spirit and encouraging me. Most hymns were inspired by someone who had a testimony. Amazing Grace written by a former slave trader. Fanny Crosby, who was blind, wrote many hymns that are blessings to those that sing them. During my quiet times every morning, I have a hymnal that I sing from at times of stress or sadness. The last time was a few days ago when a song was brought to mind, “I Know Whom I Have Believed “ and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day. You see, my youngest son had recently gotten saved from a bad time of drugs and rebellion at home.and while sitting in church Satan was causing me to have doubts about him staying saved. This verse came to mind from God, 2 Timothy 1:12. He is a.now older, with a family and still serving God. Thing is, we live in a fallen world, not Heaven. We need all the encouragement we can get as we battle Satan in a world filled with evil. Singing the older Hymns is one of mine

There is a saying that If you throw a stone at a group of sleeping dogs and the one that yelps is the one that was hit.
Looks like with all the billboards going up, it’s pretty obvious who is hit hard by the celebration of Christ ‘s birth. Tells the truth that this is a reminder to those who want to believe there is no God, to hearing all of the month of December that a savior was born and His name is Jesus. The hymns playing, Away in a manger, Silent Night, Holy Night, Frosty the ⛄️ (Yes, there’s always something added to distract, even to billboards by atheists). As for me, I see good in this once a year celebration of the birth of Christ, especially if it makes those who have not seen and believed, to think and even believe, just maybe. May the grace of Jesus Christ be with you this day.

Reminds me of the early Christians and the persecution they suffered. They worshipped in Catacombs as well. May they, too, be strengthened as they face the ordeals of being a hated follower of Christ. God bless and keep them strong in Him.

I totally agree, John Uk, and as we get closer to Christ’s Return the more attacks will be done to the true Christian because he knows he has only a short time left. Keep your lamps burning Christian,we don’t have much longer. When we see all these things coming to pass, (signs of Christ return) look up for your redemption draws near..Luke 21:28

If our heart is with Christ and we belong to Him then we don’t need or have time for political talks in the pulpit. We have a guide and He will lead us to do the right thing. I follow no man only Christ and Him alone.

Sometimes we have to put feet to our prayers and looks like you just did, Tim. I remember calling one of our Senators to not vote on a bill that would allow abortion in second term pregnancy. I did feel better knowing I had done something that might make a difference.

Sometimes we do our most growing during the hard times in our lives and as we go through with God using it for our good as well as using it as a witness to those who are watching our reactions.

Christopher, you were right about being some what sensitive to remarks made and I am and I do have a rejection issue God has been working with me on.I accidentally (?) stumbled upon this site and can say I needed it desperately to correct some things I had problems dealing with. And actually what me said about the dogs was actually funny to me because I do have a sense of humor, my family does as well and we have a lot of fun .getting together.
Penny helped me a lot when she said keep your feet in the boat while feeling the sharks That was a.fun way of saying something that has stayed with me and has helped me and another one that helped was that I needed to have the skin of an alligator, thick and hard to penetrate.
Love you guys and Happy Thanksgiving to all of my sisters and bros on SA

John Uk, I understand what you are saying. We have to have a discerning spirit about these things. For instance our pastor made the remark that if a transgender attended our church they would have to show their birth certificates before they could use the bathroom and yes Paul was very much against the Jews that tried to make the new Gentile converts be circumcised and follow the rituals that Jesus had come to change. Of course in the day we are living in we have to be very careful, wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove Good thoughts to be brought out. We need a balance in these situations. The man in drag should have left the church as Christopher brought out. I had to leave a church because of their beliefs of things that to me were unimportant and because I saw things that were important neglected. I did learn about the Holy Spirit and that changed my life.and they did love the Lord or most did.
