One of the times I'm glad to be an expatriate. America is going down the tubes. Sorry John, but Brown would still be alive today if he wasn't breaking the law. He brought all this trouble down on himself. If he had the least bit of common sense he would have gotten off the streets after committing that felony let alone antagonizing and attacking the officer. This thug was no gentle giant...look at his rap sheet! Do you expect the cop to keep his distance and wait until the thug turns himself in? I'm sure gentle Mike could be trusted to follow the "honor system" and turn himself in for that strong arm robbery. Give me a break.

As to the other recent shootings. People should watch their kids. I worked at a youth detention center for a brief period and we had "children" mini-thugs as young as five years old. I BS you not. A twelve year old is more than capable of pulling a trigger. The officers must defend themselves. Children should be taught better and this wouldn't happen.

I don't like that we're losing good judges over this, but I can see the reason why they are leaving. They are taking a stand by stepping down. I can see giving same sex couples a separate license with a "ceremony" performed by a government official that keeps the abomination outside of the church, but it makes the whole thing more and more acceptable to the young and the foolish as an acceptable norm. Certainly a judge with strong faith shouldn't be forced to perform the ceremony any more than a clergyman should, but you know it won't work out that way. Yes, our nation is depraved in so many ways.

This is why it's hard to vote in the States at this time. Neither party makes a legitimate stand for or against anything. Sure, I'm pro-life and most of you are, so we will likely vote Republican because--at least in their platform they are going to be the pro-life party--however, as Frank pointed out, in the end it will make little difference because the abortion mills will still be in business at the end of the day.

That being said, if a Republican in office means that 999,999 babies are murdered instead of 1,000,000 then I'll vote Republican every time. Each and every life is precious. You will have to do the legwork on this, but there are certain executive orders that provide funding and training to overseas doctors to perform abortions. These orders are inacted when the democrats are in office and redacted when the Republicans are in office. I haven't the time to look for the stats, but the were in place under Clinton--redacted under Bush--yeah, the guy most hate saved a few lives--and of course reinstated under Obozo.

If you are Christian and you believe what you claim to...you can't vote Democrat, at least not without repentance afterwords.

I don't care if it's a church, a denomination, or even our twice elected POTUS from Kenya, if the Bible says homosexuality is wrong..then it's wrong. Should be no surprise at all--at some point there will come a time when only two will be gathered in Christ's name, but we're lucky because He will still be in our midst. Meanwhile the mainstream church gets deeper and deeper into apostasy.

Awful and sad and it confuses well meaning, but easily confused people who don't know any better. I hate when so-called Christians send a message like this. There are far too many people out there that will follow what a preacher says no matter how scriptural wrong he is as well as plenty of sinful secularists loving being able to quote a "Bible Believing Christian" when arguing for abortion and homosexuality alike. I truly believe that we are on the threshold of Christ's return.

"Space Cake" and brownies are the best for me. When I head back to the UAE in two weeks, I have a five hour layover in Amsterdam and I will be partaking ASAP. I look at occasional use as a treat. I'm rarely in Amsterdam, so it's special. It will be years before I get to have any again. The stuff available in Colorado and Seattle costs too much. Leave it to my home country to screw things up again and again. They could mess up a cup of coffee. BTW if your pot laced cookies and candies smell bad, then they aren't doing it right. A drug sniffing hound will get you, so don't get cocky, but a real pot laced baked good is going to smell sweet and taste nice. There is a whole drawn out process and art to making such confections, and should you choose to try one, it's best to make sure that it is quality. You can't just by some Betty Crocker or Pilsbury and dump weed in it--it's much more complicated, but worth it in my opinion.

Thank you so much for your direct and powerful message. Oh that we could hear more messages like this - so needed in an often feminized Church. God bless you!

This is just Burger King trying to cash-in 'never miss a chance to make a buck'. In many ways I couldn't care less what the people of this world choose to do, sure your heart goes out to them because they are deceived, but once you have given them your best pitch (thrown your pearls before the swine?) and they've rejected it, then leave them be. Shake the dust off of your sandals and start looking for the next guy. The problem is with things like this. Parades, celebrations, destroying traditional marriage and family life...re-branding tasty hamburger sandwiches--these things put perversion on main street, and that makes it our business.

It just makes me sad that I can not do something as simple as going into a hamburger restaurant without being accosted by homosexual imagery and propaganda--the same companies that appeal to kids and young adults BTW--why should that in any way be a part of my dining experience? I realize this is only one location in one Burger King, but it's the principle of the thing. Our nation has gone downhill.

I agree Re. Ten years ago, I went back to university at age 30--at that time I was considered a non-traditional student. It was mandatory for everyone to go to these 'sensitivity' classes which were nothing more than thinly veiled attempts at brainwashing the students--and I missed it because of earlier school credits, but they also had some 'visualization' style class for incoming freshmen that didn't bother with the veil. The entire class would be sitting in a circle either outside or on the floor of the classroom while the prof ran exercises such as: "Close your eyes...Picture yourself as a homosexual man...how does it feel when people persecute you?..." and then the students would respond. I guess I managed to have a few young people talking to me about it afterwords because I remember hearing about it first hand.

At the school where I went, from time to time there would be street preachers and other groups allowed to speak on campus and there were other Christian groups, but these people were regularly heckled and shouted down by other students. Shockingly, I overheard two older women staffers speaking about not wanting the groups on campus. Things are truly upside down, and I don't think they have improved over the last decade...BTW I lived in GA --imagine California.

If the church did split and agreed to disagree on the subject of homosexuality, then, it is a victory for Satan. Namely over time the feelings won't remain neutral. If the sin is not specifically spoken out against, all the people who want to engage in such activities will do so. You'll notice I didn't say it would be a victory for the homosexual agenda...because they are the ones who will in fact lose the most.

This is what I hate. When a "Christian" denomination gives out bad information and injects a spirit of confusion among well meaning people. I personally know more than a handful of little old Christian ladies who get led astray by groups like these because on the surface you want to believe that God loves everyone.

Unfortunately, there are many things that God hates. Homosexuality is among those things called abominations. It is plainly stated in the Bible. By accepting the lifestyle...and celebrating it...you (the royal you) give the false idea to the homo that they are right with God...which they are not. This puts you and them at risk for Hellfire. The sin that isn't forgiven is the one that you don't ask forgiveness for.you are deceived.

When the homos of the world do as they do--it doesn't surprise me. They are openly, unapologetically in rebellion against God. The shame comes when people who should have a little more discernment bow to the pressure of the politically correct world. Remember though it is God's word that is true, and all men are liars!

#1 accepting the queer lifestyle is the mark of many a great nation...just before they fall into ruin.

#2...and keep in mind that I live and work in one. Will this blanket statement be applied to all of the oil rich Muslim nations that Mr. Obama is so fond of?

Let me assure you, the so-called 'anti-gay' discrimination is alive and well out here. Behind closed doors the society is just as perverse as ours, but in public that lifestyle choice is shunned and may well land you in prison and/or deported depending on your nationality. Where are the embargoes and sanctions against these countries?

There won't be any because they are non-Christian and they have the oil that America neeeds.

This is just sad. There really is no excuse for sending your child to a public school. If you care about your child at all you get them out of this system. I don't care if you need to work two jobs...don't let your kids be brainwashed. As adults we can watch such things because hopefully we're well grounded in our faith. Kids see these authority figures and they get them five days a week--the TV and internet gets 'em most of the rest of the time. Both telling them that gayness and the lifestyle that comes with it are okay. I know I was a follower in elementary school--likely to follow what the teachers said to please them, and doing what classmates did to be cool without questioning either. When my parents asked what I did at school that day I always said 'oh nothing..' and I'm sure kids say the same thing today. The old saying GIGO applies. We can only blame ourselves.

One way or another, by hook or by crook, I would not have a child in America's public school system. It is insane. I would find a way--even if I had to work seven days a week--to keep these ideas far, far away from my child. As an adult, you can hear these things and accept them or reject them. As a child? You can't tell me that 8-hrs a day in brainwashing academy followed by 3-4 hrs a day of brainwash television can be erased by a couple of hrs of church time each week. No way! Teach your kids right--teach them at home!

The atheist can make the argument that the DIVINITY of Jesus is a myth. It does take faith to believe that Jesus is who He says that He was. However, there isn't much of an argument to be made against the existence of Jesus historically. As has been said, there are too many sources outside of the Bible to confirm His existence therefor He is no myth.
