He has 'one termer' written all over him. The latest decision to let tax cuts expire will only add to the list of reasons to vote him out in two years. I agree that he should have never been elected in the first place. Most voted for him out of the fear that McCain would equal four more years of Bush. Obama represented real change and people never thought that the change would be for the worse. I have posted before that no practicing Christian should have voted for Obama. His stand on abortion should have been a deal breaker. It is impossible for me to understand how so many Chirstians overlook this obvious flaw, but I know many friends who gave him a pass on this stance and their vote.

Problem number one is that the "Christian" leader being quoted here is a lady REV. Problem number two is that if there is anything that anyone should be serious and sincere about it is the place in which they will spend their eternity. I'm all for fun. There are many good Christian jokes out there that make fun of different churches or types of people in the church, but when it comes down to making fun of God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit, and salvation I think one should be very careful in making light of them. I know I have heard many jokes or have seen things on the net or TV that I wish I could un-see or un-hear myself, but for the most we can't do that. Much like jokes, the metal music is varied enough that there are some bands that are okay to listen to, but most of them are crossing the line into blasphemy and Christians shouldn't listen to them, play acting or not. Everything comes down to faith and what you believe. If you really believe what the Bible says, you shouldn't spend all of your time listening to those who are anti-Christian.

My thoughts are that God can still find at least a few who are worthy of being spared or the USSA would have been destroyed like Sodam and Gomorrha many years ago. If there was a pre-trib rapture in the USSA, I'm not sure much would change. There are so many Christians who have been brainwashed by the idea of "tolerance" to these kind of sins and sinners that they aren't asking for forgiveness or mercy for these homos, but instead they are asking for acceptance. God will never accept an unrepentant sinner. We must change to meet his standard (which we can't do, and that is why we need Christ) because a Holy God isn't about to lower himself to ours.

For me Obama is without question the worst president that I have lived through. Carter may have been worse, but I was too young then to have any lasting memory of his mistakes and I can only parrot what I have read about the man. On almost every issue I find that I am at odds with the Obma agenda. Even from a secular stance, he is the most arrogant public official that I have ever seen. He is the worst kind of con-man because he believes his own hype. Luckily, a lot of people are starting to see him for what he is.

@ Deja View...maybe. However, the message board was for the university class only...and since I just re-told the story on a truly public message board, it looks like I didn't learn a thing

An act of revolution against an unjust government. Taxation without representation. I wouldn't say that the Tea Party is unBiblical, but it's certainly not an all Christian group either. I think in the elections both Novemember and two years from now, it will be the conservatives race to lose. They should gain quite a few seats in November and hopefully they will ouster the Obamanation next time, but there are no guarantees. 1. If the Republicans don't put up a candidate that wants to win. 2.If the tea party is strong but not strong enough and the Obmatons get him re-elected with less than 50% of the vote. It happened for Clinton both terms because of Ross Perot's strong third party run. 3. If the Republicans run Palin. Perception is reality and most of the people in the midddle ground perceive her to be an idiot.

The two things that irk a lefty univeristy the most is speaking out about the homosexual lifestyle by saying that is a choice and that it is sin and speaking freely about being Pro-life. I was nearly kicked out of the teaching program in my school due to comments that I made about homosexuality. In my case it wasn't a Christian thing at all. One of the male teachers at the school where I was assigned to teach was named Mr.Bell. During a discussion about George W. Bush having been a cheerleader in college, it was revealed that Mr. Bell had also been a cheerleader. One of the young girls then called him Tinkerbell. I thought it was funny and relayed the story on our class message board. Apparently, I should have reprimanded the girl and told her it was wrong to make jokes about someone's lifestyle becaouse from then on I was up for all sorts of seminars, workshops and tolerence paper writing. Again, in our liberal nation the homos not only want tolerence, or even acceptance, but full on celebration of their sinful and deadly lifestyle.

There are many reasons that I have been posting from Taiwan for about a year now...and cheif among them is that I could find no work in the USA. Space doesn't permit me to go into greater detail, but I have had to live out here away from my wife, parents, family, and friends because I couldn't find a teaching job locally. I am going back home in ten days and the situation doesn't look any better. Odds are I'll go back overseas once again in spite of the difficult times and how much I miss home. I agree that worst times are ahead. If you consider the simplistic "Jurassic Park" version of chaos theory, there will come a time where things appear to actually be better...it is at that time that the bottom will fall out. I think we'll see it when the baby boomers finally do hit the retirement age and all these new Obamacare promises crush us. I don't know nor do I wish for America to fall into obscurity, but I have the feeling our best days are behind us as a nation. With legal abortion, rampant homosexuality, the Obamanation, and a very secular attitude of if it feels good do it, did you really expect God to let the dog and pony show go on forever? Luckily he'll see his own through whatever trouble may come to the nation.

Even if this is true...which I am highly suspicious that it's not, I am sure there is more to it than what you have written here. Unless you are using the public library, you seem to have internet access, so you can't be too poor. Also, there is a lot more than one church that you can turn to for help before you begin waliking the streets. Most likely you are just a troll trying to make churches in general look bad, but I say you are only wasting your time as the churches do a fine job of it by themselves without the need of fabricating stories.

As I prepare to return to the Obamanation this stuff starts to worry me again. For the record, I am a product of the public school system and some day I hope to teach at a public school in America. However, some of the smartest students that I have ever met at Univeristy were homeschoolers. If I have children, I'll teach them at home myself. They will be much better off.

State rights or no, the law of the nation is that the illegals have no right to be here. The Obamanation can't be a law unto itself...we are so close to a dictatorship. It seems that anything this badministration wants they will force on the people even if it is illegal. Everyone who wants America to stay sovreign (if indeed it still is) needs to wake up and vote these bozos out in November.

Zell Miller is one of the Democrats that I like. I would call him a conservative democrat. I call myself an independent conservative...but that usually means I vote Republican. I wouldn't bet on bammy not getting re-elected. I hope and pray that will be the case, and I'm glad to see the environmental nut jobs (although this time it is a legit disaster) and the homosexuals turn on Obama. However, even if it looks like it will be the Republican's election to lose right now a lot can change in two years. Espescially if 1. the Republicans don't put up a strong candidate. or 2. the conservative base gets split by a strong third party showing this year.

I've said it before. If you think a monkey, whale, or dolphin is smarter than you, then you are probably right. As for me, until one of these animals can create, administer, analyze, publish, and defend the findings of an 'intellegence test', I will continue to agree with the Biblical view that man is created higher than the animals. I don't believe that we should hunt dolphins and whales to extinction any more than we should any other species, but they are still animals and do not deserve the same rights as humans. Meanwhile, as another poster pointed out, abortion mills are running 24hrs killing true human beings. Thanks to 'the one' we have American doctors helping with and encouraging abortions overseas...with our tax money! This was illegal when Bush was still in office. Say what you will about him, but I'm sure two years worth of aborted human beings would rather have him than the murdering clown that is there now. At least he's kind to his puppy, so I guess it makes him an alright guy. Bo Obama is the best of that litter.

I believe that Billy Graham has led a lot of people to Christ. I hope those comments are just a little of that senility (sp?) creeping in. Jesus states clearly that he is the only way to Heaven. It is clear as day in the Bible. All Christians, but espescially church leaders, shouldn't back down or be politically correct about this point. You either believe the Bible or you do not. You either take Jesus at his word or you do not. There are no quid pro quos or loop holes. Christ says he is the only way to God. Of all people Billy Graham should know this. Does that mean we should go around hurting people of other beliefs or of no belief? Of course not. We were all sinners who found God. They should all be given the time that God has ordained for them to find the way. But only those who follow Christ make it in the end. All other faiths are inferior because their destination is Hell...trying not to offend them or trying not to hurt their feelings is actually helping lead them to Hell. The lost need to know the facts. It's up to the saved to let them know.

So the lesson gets dropped, not because it was bad, but because it offended other minoritiy groups that didn't want the Homos to have a monopoly on being given special treatment. I guess a win is a win.

It's just crazy. Espescially when they are telling old people not to pray. If I were a pure cold-hearted secular atheist, I still wouldn't have problems with people who wanted to pray. If they want to, let 'em! It's not like it's hurting anybody. I hope I never have to put my parents in such a place, hope I never find myself in one either, but I understand that it does happen. I would try to find some other place for them to go if they started enforcing crazy rules like that. Of course in the New America there really aren't too many places to go.

I can't wait until eight weeks from now when I get to go back to Obmaland. I was glad to leave it, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't pleading to come back right now. I miss my people, espescially the wife you know, way more than the country, and stories like these remind me of why I was happy to leave in the first place. This entire thing is insane. #1. like the previous post said, Mexican-Americans are now American, so why be offended by our own flag? #2. I am a white male with no latino blood in me as far as I know, and I can assure you that I still have a lot of fun on Cinco De Mayo...I was sad to miss celebrating it this year...I wouldn't enjoy it less seeing an American or Mexican flag. If it's a fun time, then have fun. #3. We don't have the right to be unoffended. People do a lot of offensive things. How wearing an American flag shirt or saying "Merry Christmas" became offensive is beyond me, but we do have freedom to say and do a lot of things in our country. I'm more offended by pants that are worn around the kids' knees than any particular T-shirt. I also wonder if they took down all the flags from the school for Cinco de Mayo or maybe they raised a Mexican flag just for that day.

Keeping the priests from being married is just one more thing that the Catholic Church has wrong. I could never be Catholic because of this and several other silly traditions that have nothing to do with the Bible. I don't argue that the Catholics are Hell bound. I think as long as they trust in Christ for their salvation that they are saved just as well as any Protestant. However, with all of the scandals of the past and present, I wonder why anyone would want to stay in the Catholic Church.

I find some of the Comedy Central cartoons to be funny. I do like satire. However, there are way too many South Park episodes that I just have to turn away. I am to the point with them that I don't think I'll watch anymore even when it's a "clean" episode. A joke is a joke, but eventually it can become blasphemy...South Park has episodes with images that I for one don't want in my head.

I would agree that 'bashing' another religion isn't the same as presenting the gospel, but I would also say that putting a false religion on equal ground with Christianity is not only wrong, but also dangerous. Too many evangelists in the spotlight are wishy washy and non-commital. I've said before that I enjoy listening to Joel Osteen and I believe that his heart really is in the right place, but where the rubber meets the road in several interviews, he is reluctant to say that Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to salvation. There is a time when you should present the case for Christ to people trapped in a religious system with 'kid gloves'. Nobody should try to force anyone to change, but there also comes that time when you have to leave those mockers to their fates. I don't think you will find any follow up scripture where Paul continues to give complements to those that scoffed and mocked the gospel. I don't think he would be on CNN hocking his latest epistle while saying, "You know Larry, essentially we all worship the same God. I want to lift people up not tear them down." No, once you have heard the truth of the gospel it is up to you to decide what to do with it. Jesus is the only way way to God. Islam and all other religions are inferior as they lead to hell.
