Indifference is a worse state to be in. Why wouldn't you get angry? Some anger comes from caring - yes? People who never get angry (supposedly) don't care either.
Kia Ora Rawiri! I have been writing a book about my experiences in NZ with Catholic lay-people as well as an abusive priest who uses covert hypnotherapy to abuse women. Yes NZ is not a Catholic Country, but all the same media will not call the Catholic clergy out - this is because the media have been a traditional career choice of Catholic people since Bishop Moran (1871)at least this is what I am saying in my story. Not a conspiracy just a very small pool of journalists in NZ and quite of few of my relies work in media. As well as the police force.

Don't understand the metaphor, but I guess you are saying it is a waste of time engaging John Y. You are probably right, but it is actually this site which is supplying the material in the first place - not the commenters.
Grateful for the service. Catholic sites don't report in quite the same way.
Asking John Y some relevant questions might help though. What year, (cycle)is it this year. What was the homily about on Sunday. What Orders are most active in his area. And here's a good one every Catholic in the church worldwide has had to endure over the last two decades. The NUNs (Sisters) what have they been preaching and teaching in the last two decades which may have got up Catholic peoples noses? What has the LCWR been promoting? Informed questions about his Church as opposed to the Bible as he calls it. Not 'holy scripture' absolutely no 'catholic' jargon which identifies this guy as a Catholic which Catholic people love to use simply because Catholic people take so much pride in their identity. He is a fraud and well as having a perverse spirit.
Perhaps the amount of articles concerning the Catholic Church on this site is partly responsible? Just saying. I am not advocating this site stop reporting on Catholic Church issues just that there are a lot of articles about the Pope and RCC church.
Dave from Oz ... are you following the Inquiry into the Church in Australia? I am. Here in NZ our media is not much interested ... even though the NZ aand Aus. Orders (and American) live in each others pockets. The media in New Zealand (secular) have a large majority of Catholic people working for them. I come to this site to get news on the Catholic Church.

I came across this verse - as a cross reference to another book my husband and I are studying this week.
Lev 19:15 You shall do no injustice in judgement. You shall not be partial to the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty. In righteousness you shall judge your neighbour.
You shall not go about as tale bearing among your people, nor shall you take a stand against the life of your neighbour. You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbour and not bear sin because of him.
My husband explained to me that "You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbour and not bear sin because of him" means that your neighbour can encourage you to sin - by encouraging hatred in your heart - if he (the neighbour) is not rebuked.
What lack of generosity you exhibit - is The Creator blind? Deaf? Unintelligent?
Do you think I can not raise my voice to Him against you? Or that He has ostracised me?
Can your enemy not cry out against you? Will The Creator be deaf to one who persists in drawing His attention to the envy and hatred in the hearts of those who claim to know Him?
Can I not ask for justice against those who persecute me?
So then. I go to ask that He deliver the same justice to His friends as they do their enemies.
I think what astounds one so is the ability people have to condemn and judge from very little information - harshly. Being unable to build on any good word apparent, preferring instead to tear at any evil they percieve.
