codulater wrote: My goodness John what a ruckus you've caused on this thread. Free speech?? Definitely Arminian. Thought that was an American concept myself. Still I think other people in your glorious Christian nation have noticed that the Church DOESNT promote free speech. |

John UK wrote: I wonder if that was really Barry's post. It could have been Phoebe in disguise, posting as Barry. I much prefer it when folks stick to their moniker, so as you know who's who. Free speech can soon turn into deception. Barry - the whole of the Christian Church is in trouble because of people like this in it - and the rest of the people - if there are any - remain silent. Got to be nice eh? |

Frank wrote: Yes, Christopher, there is nothing wrong with a little humor among brothers in Christ. When John and I say something humorous that was not intended to be taking literally, 99 percent of the readers would instantly understand what we are going. But, remember I said 99 percent, not 100. But, as you know, he and I are as serious in our thoughts as anyone. Now being serious never made anyone correct, but it is a good start and on a right path. Frank - there aint no law against putting whatever you like in the name bar. There is something wrong with your silly humour amongst yourselves. The problem is that you begin by chosing an agrument amongst yourselves. Someone else comes along, poses a different view to you (3?) and then you all turn on that person. If that person actually shows any of you up, the rest of you chime in - thus people coming here pretty soon discover the trap you set them. Then you can always start the 'humour' - mocking - and all join together in your humour. By the way Frank - there isn't a law against putting whatever name you like whenever you like on this site - take it up with the site moderators. Maybe you find it a moral issue that you can have more than one 'moniker'. Free speech Frank. |

Christopher000 wrote: Hi Phoebe, Thanks so much for posting up all of the recommended reading/listening. I know you could have kept going too. Interesting thing is that I have already found and have been listening to many of those you listed. I've been going deep into the history, doctrines, dogmas, etc of the RC church and I've found Alan Cairns, Steve Hereford, and Dr John Barnett to be very helpful. Among others, I like Ken Ham as well, but I sure wish the man would record something longer than a minute. There are pages and pages of his one minute comments that I have to scroll through in order to get to other speakers at times...ha-ha. Dear Ken Ham, for Christmas this year, I would like a compilation of your creation comments. : ) Email him - Ken Ham - with your fancy app. |

John UK wrote: Which, being interpreted, means: "I want to be able to post my anti-gospel tripe without having anyone respond to it." This is the whole comment I made: That was meant for Angela, she interjected in a conversation I was having a while back. Mum said I'm not allowed to respond to personal questions on the internet. And no talking to men incase we get too familiar. Look forward to your silence. |

Angela Wittman wrote: Dear Phoebe, I don't know what you are "getting at"... What exactly is the "greatest show on earth"? My comments are the same and there is no conflicting message. Why don't you click on my website link and read posts from 2005 when I first began posting them on blogs? And also, please know that I am a married woman who does not appreciate being singled out by men. So, if you want to argue, I am not available. Do you think that you can go on the web saying "Repent America or Gods judgements will come down on your head but if you repent He will not bring judgement" and then carry on business as usual? Do you have no fear of God? |

John Yurich USA wrote: If Romney is at present against abortion and homosexuality then that is all that matters. Those 2 sins are the reason why God's Judgment on the United States has been increasing exponentially in recent years. Only two sins! What a coincidence. |

Michael Hranek wrote: Phoebe Disinformation. Let me tell you a story that relates. A pastor in Atlanta, Georgia had a church member who was warning of practising homosexuals coming into the churches, and the harm they were causing. The pastor brushed her warnings off, it wasn't that big a thing and he certainly didn't appreciate her bothering him with it and saw no need to speak out against it ... until he saw one of the deacons of his church pick up a male prostitute. Roman Catholicism is not nice, and neither is homosexuality for that matter and since Scripture commands us to earnestly contend for the faith once for all delivered to the saints we would be in sin against God to fail to do so hypocritially putting our heads into the sand and acting as if such things, false religion and perverted sexuality do not have horrible effects on people. ]]Bullwhip Guy is a brief video clip that illustrates the hypocrisy of those seeking to silence the preaching of the Truth. Well I guess time will tell. |
