Unfortunately this violence has been exported here to my country, though at present not to the same degree as in the USA. Covid19 regulations however, seem to have been thrown out of the window, and leading personalities, white (full of their woke “white guiltiness”) and black, have come along to support them!!

At the public end of Downing Street, the PM’s address, which is permanently closed for security purposes, a crowd of demonstrators were charged by a line of mounted police, which is exceptionally rare in Britain, and one policewoman fell off her horse. She was not badly hurt and the horse was recaptured! It could have been very nasty, however.

In Bristol, a large city and port in the West if England, which I know very well, having lived there in my very young days, a large crowd, with presumably virtually no police nearby, toppled a statue of Edward Colston, an 18th century benefactor of the city and a well known merchant, whom the local concert hall is named after, but unfortunately he also traded in slaves. They knelt on his neck in the same way that George Floyd was killed, and then threw the statue into the harbour.

Traditionalist Catholics are tearing their hair out over this Pope. He is keeping the churches closed, depriving them of their sacraments.

I am sure that this elderly but very liberal Pope, who has packed the College of Cardinals with his supporters, is preparing the way for the counterfeit miracle working False Prophet,, leader of the one world religion to come, no doubt one of his immediate successors!!

By the way, I forgot to say that the retired policeman murdered protecting his friend’s pawn shop was black, and many if the small businesses burnt down and attacked were also owned by African Americans!!

Meanwhile many leading health / wealth white pastors decided to march along with the rioters showing how “woke” and politically correct they are, while they continue to preach a heretical gospel in their online services. Notice they don’t seem to want to call for churches to be open though for proper in person worship without severe and unbiblical restrictions!! One leading pastor in this stream even encouraged and praised his daughter when she joined one if these demonstrations in New York!!

Tragically, the SBC in the USA, and some other professed evangelical groups, are going down the same path, as did the now liberal mainline Protestant denominations of old. They no longer believe in the sufficiency of the Gospel, and solid preaching of the Bible, they are even beginning to doubt some of the clear teachings and central doctrines of the Christian faith.

Like the liberals of old, they will soon empty their churches. “Social Justice”, or as it used to be called, the “Social Gospel”, combined with many unbiblical practices will empty a church faster than anything!!

To the law and the testimony, the pure preaching and teaching of the glorious gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, is the only solution.

This man, is basically so leftist, he is advocating lawlessness. Does he stop to think of closed small businesses, already closed because of the lockdown, looted and destroyed, ladies attacked in wheelchairs when they tried to expostulate with the looters, an elderly retired police officer murdered when he went to defend his friend’s pawn shop.

He is just like the propagandists of Goebbel’s ministry in Hitler’s Nazi Germany, or no doubt, his heroes in the state owned press, radio and television of the old USSR, and modern China and. Roth Korea, or like the infamous radio station in Rwanda, that stirred up the genocide between the Hutus and Tutsis there, where thousands were butchered and carved up with machetes in the street.

The Bible tells us that in the last days before our Lord’s coming there would be lawlessness. We see it here before our eyes!! Political correctness is now on steroids, and soon enforced by law, with an all encompassing propaganda media.

I abhor slavery, but as someone who majored in history, I actually view with great alarm, the whitewashing of history, and bowing down to the demands of violent terrorists. Already in my country, various colleges and universities are hurriedly removing statues, changing names of buildings, all to satisfy a leftist version of history. They will no doubt soon remove all our kings, and many prominent people they don’t like!!

From what I understand, these leftist governors and mayors will soon have to start removing statues of some of your Founding Fathers, the men who founded the USA, and drew up the US Constitution, and Bill of Rights, which they loathe anyway. What right has a man, who though a medical doctor, who believes in butchering babies in the womb, right up until birth, and even after birth, if they survive this barbarous practice, to pontificate, about what someone on a statue practiced years ago. It is actually very hypocritical of this governor!!

These churches are actually the state approved Three Self Patriotic Association (Protestant), and Patriotic Catholic Association (Catholic) churches, that already have severe restrictions, I.e. bishops, leaders, pastors approved by the state, seminaries have to teach things approved by the Communist Party, no children or young people allowed in the church, sermons submitted in advance with certain topics banned, cameras in the church linked to the local police station and now with the latest face recognition technology etc!!

If this is what happens to the state approved churches, what will happen to the totally illegal Underground churches.

In one province of China, if I read the article correctly, 10% of the population actually belong to the official TSPA churches!! No wonder the Communists are afraid of even these state approved churches!! I wonder how many people in that province belong to the real Underground churches!!! As I see the difficulties in allowing churches to open again after the Coronavirus restrictions in places like Britain and the USA, I wonder if this type of persecution is coming to us eventually!!

I get very tired of “political leftist” clergy and bishops who make all sorts of political statements, but never address spiritual problems.

Here in Britain, apart from a comment or two about the George Floyd issue, the Anglican bishops, and no doubt the Catholic ones, all launched in to PM Boris Johnson’s adviser, Dominic Cummings over his breach of the lockdown.

I just wish these same bishops would be as zealous over insisting on the reopening of the churches, without having disgraceful conditions, like no singing, no communion, no baptisms, no Sunday school, etc!! Somehow, I think they are going to be very quiet about this!!

This was indeed a tragic case, just showing the complete lawlessness of many people in Nigeria, including tragically federal and local governments.

I read the main article. This young lady was a student, but it seems as if her university had closed down for the COVID19. Obviously, the church has as well. I think it was one of those very large Pentecostal churches in the south of the country. She wanted a quiet place to study, (perhaps there were still online lectures, etc), so had an arrangement with the pastor to collect the key, let herself into the church building, study, lockup afterwards and return the key to the pastor. She apparently did this several times.

Sadly, it looks as if either someone or some people were watching her, or some opportunist thugs saw her go in on that last occasion, and got in, and committed rape and murder. It just shows the depth of wickedness, and needs to be fully investigated and dealt with.

I heard an excellent sound podcast by two African American brothers, fully evangelical and Bible based, (it is recommended by Justin Peters), which firmly nailed the “Social Justice” movement, previously known, from the liberal Protestant mainline denominations, and liberal echelons in the Catholic Church, that adopted it, as the “Social Gospel”, now widespread in many large evangelical denominations.

The Social Justice / Social Gospel is a total disaster, as it negates the preaching of the Gospel, and the Bible. Yes, if like the Salvation Army in its very early days, and the church in Acts 2, the church faithfully preaches the Gospel and expounds the Scriptures, then they can do relief works, etc.

We are also not to join up with political and secular bodies,or receive any funding from them, as they will take over and seek to control the church. I left an evangelical church many years ago, when they got into that, there was a full blown “compassion” ministry, but no Gospel!!

China is now riding cock a hoop. It has triumphantly exported its Wuhan virus to the rest of the world, ruining the economies of all the other countries.

Now the churches are in lockdown, it is finishing off its policy of destroying finally all the Underground churches, and even the state approved churches, and of course, completely barring any online worship at the same time.

Finally, it is now confident enough to destroy the “2Systems” agreement over Hong Kong, and fully overriding the local government there, and annexing its fully into Communist Mainland China.

It will have to realise that one day the Lord will hold it accountable, and laugh in derision as in Psalm 2!!!

Tragically, churches are still not yet allowed to meet in person in Britain. No date has yet been given, except that it will not be before July.

Praise God, a group of 20 MPs has written to Boris Johnson saying that churches are essential and should open up. I am sure when they do open, we may have a lot of intrusive regulations of spacing, hand gel, masks, no greetings, no singing, no baptisms, no communion, no Sunday school, no fellowship meetings and so on. I hope not. Any decision made by our PM does not apply in Scotland or Wales, which are more zealous for the lockdown, but Northern Ireland has allowed some extremely limited church services (including the non-British concept of drive-in services!!).

As far as I am concerned, though I am an evangelical Protestant, and a believer in the centrality of preaching, I also believe that the communion is central too, and ideally should be celebrated every week, not twice monthly, as in my church, monthly, or even as in the Psalm singing Reformed and Presbyterian churches, quarterly or four times a year.

No secular government has the right to tell a church how it may celebrate communion, or even whether it can, and that applies to baptisms too.

Whatever we may think of how inter churches celebrate the communion, we must stand firmly that the state has no right to interfere with us in communion, baptism, or singing. The USA or Britain is not China or North Korea!!

I have seen the still photo of the man under arrest and the white police officer kneeling with his knee on the man’s neck. This is extremely over the top policing. In Britain this police officer would have not only been fired, but charged with murder, and an independent enquiry launched. His three colleagues would have been fired, and maybe accused of other offences.

The black man involved was actually an active member of a church, (I don’t know if it was evangelical or not), and did a lot of community work.

Tragically, the activists on the left, and the “Critical Race” people will get to work in this, George Soros will pour in his millions, and they will milk this for all it is worth right up to the election in November. Not only should the police officers be charged and held accountable, but the rioters should also be dealt with as there is no excuse for lawlessness and violence!! All in all, a bad and explosive situation.

Please go into the Morning Devotional of C H Spurgeon for this morning right here on Sermon Audio, and though written sometime in the 1800’s during the Victorian age, his words seem very prophetic. It was almost as if he was writing in 2020, about the mega churches (and some smaller ones) that are around today, and the seeker sensitive movement.

“We must follow after Jesus if we would succeed. Sensational methods, entertainment and so forth - are these coming after Jesus? Can we imagine the LORD Jesus drawing a congregation by such means as are commonly used?” What a question. Just go to the devotional and read Spurgeon’s answer. Quite challenging and relevant!!!

The latest here in England only, (Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are still continuing with the stricter lockdown, with no sign yet of it being eased), is that we have for a week or so been allowed to do unlimited exercise, and day excursions to outside places,(public transport use is discouraged though), and that outside markets, (food stalls have been allowed since the lockdown began, this refers to non-food stalls), and car dealerships open up on June 1st; all other non-retail shops, indoor markets and stores open up on June 15th, (subject to strict spacing rules, and no hands on or trying out permitted), but strictly no sit down cafes and restaurants, (takeaways are allowed), hotels, (except for medical staff or other approved residents), cinemas, theatres, gyms and pubs, and unfortunately no in person church services. No date has yet been given for their resumption. As far as churches are concerned, even when they do begin services, at least for the foreseeable future, severe limits on numbers, spacing out, no greetings, no communion, no baptisms, possibly no singing, masks strongly encouraged, no Sunday school, no fellowship meals or social activities, etc. is very likely to be the conditions. I just wish we had some of the proactive pastors you had in some of the USA

While I know that most contributors here on SA News Forum are quite rightly opposed to the RCC, it must be stated that very often the Catholic (and Anglican and Lutheran and other denominational or “parochial” schools) are much better academically than the state or public schools.

Sadly, what happened to the Catholic schools since the 1960’s and the passage of the Vatican 2 Council, is that modernism rapidly got in. The nuns, monks and priests that ran them either went radically leftist, or the schools were actually laicised, that is handed over to liberal leftist secular teachers, and ended up actually being Catholic in name only, and some schools are virtually slightly private versions of the state public schools they competed with.

I have a feeling that that is the type of Catholic school that people like Nancy Pelosi, Andrew Cuomo, and Bill de Blasio went to, and many monastic orders, particularly of nuns and religious sisters got into radical feminism, “goddess” worship, environmentalism and so on.

However, I have read elsewhere by people that knew her well, that she held true to the end, and one thing is interesting, that she actually never had the abortion for which her infamous case was made. The child was born naturally, I understand, and adopted out. It was indeed from what I have read, the leftist lawyers, the activist judges, and then the abortionists themselves that cynically used her to gain the infamous decision in Roe v Wade, and then cynically sidelined her. Here in this current article they seem to have attempted to get the last laugh.

Another person, the atheist Madelyn Murray O’Hare, who single handedly secured two dreadful US Supreme Court judgments throwing prayer and Bible reading out of your state or public schools, was murdered, by criminal acquaintances, and her son was converted to the Lord Jesus Christ and testified at many meetings of this!! God dues indeed bring glory to His Name, even out of things like this.

I really pray that this lady genuinely repented. I do read a particular prophecy inistru, and the editor there does believe that Norma McCorbey was a false convert and used the pro-life movement for her own ourposes.

In one of your states in the USA, (I think you will quickly know which one I an refering to), one particular governor has made strange arbitrary laws on what can and cannot be sold. This meant that in a multiple store, the food items could be sold, but useful things like seeds and diy items for people in lockdown in their homes, had to be taped off and not sold!!! Churches of course not allowed to open either.

Another state, where also churches not allowed to open, yet a sex establishment with presumably no physical distancing can be open!!

Yet other states where people who need to open their businesses because bills are mounting up, sent to jail, yet career criminals like thieves, murderers and rapists released from jail to resume their nefarious careers!! What utter madness!! Our PM here, after some had advice from the now sidelined Professor Ferguson did do a lockdown, but thankfully did not make it too severe.
