Colorado Churches Win Court Reprieve From Governor’s COVID Mandates
Two Colorado churches — the Denver Bible Church and the nearby Community Baptist Church in Brighton — gained a reprieve last week from U.S. District Judge Daniel D. Domenico. The churches sued Colorado Governor Jared Polis in August over his COVID-related restrictions that were overly vague and applied unevenly between the churches and secular establishments.

Domenico’s reason was constitutionally sound in granting the churches a temporary restraining order against Polis:

And that desperation is blowing hard these days Mike. I'm not sure what the platform for Biden and democrats alike would be without it. Burning cities socialistic ideals and laptops don't sell well when they are presented in a clear picture, it takes a constant weaving of the narrative to do that- which the media is perfecting, I might add. And lastly, for all we know regarding the 3 at Grace community, its possible that they contracted the virus outside of the walls of the building. But like the other 99%, they should be able to recover and move on with their lives knowing that long held truth of "this too shall pass" as opposed to the newly indoctinated phrase of "the new normal".

James, it's almost as if some need this virus to be what they want it to be, so now they can't retreat. Pride goeth somewhere, no doubt. Heard today that the 3 people were part-time workers at Grace Community, and they went home, not to a hospital. I haven't confirmed it, but it wouldn't be surprising. Death rate is still dropping, so those numbers are on ignore. With the election only a few days away, desperation is in the wind.

Covid strikes great fear in people that are afraid of death.... and for unbelievers it rightly should... now is the time to share the gospel with those living in fear and not trusting in Jesus Christ.

Watcher, I have no use for John MacArthur’s theology, and I don’t care much for the man himself. Nevertheless, you are wrong to say that his motivation for keeping his church open is to “boost his public image,” unless, of course, he said so himself or you can see inside his heart. Might want to walk that one back, eh?

We live in a world where people yearn for panic and chaos. Covid has provided thie opportunity for “bad things happen when people get sick.”
If you think churches are having a hard time to stay open in a blue state- wait until a Roman Catholic becomes president and shuts all churches down as a federal policy and hides it as wisdom for common sense.

James Thomas, excellent point.

Watcher, was this you? Lol. Just heard about a masked woman breaking social distancing to harass a maskless man who left and then her husband turned around, maskless I might add, and attacked an innocent bystander. Lol, lack of oxygen is making y'all crazy.

Too bad some don't get as worked up over, say, the MILLIONS of babies that get murdered every year. But let's get on a soap box over a virus that has a 99% recovery rate for most folks. Too bad those babies don't have any choice in their fate right? It's amazing how some push the narrative under the guise of 'Christianity'....Is a virus the reason for death? Not according to the word of God, 'for the wages of SIN is death'. God takes people out of this world every day, He does it in a variety of ways. Understanding His sovereignty should knock a person off their soap box, but not always.....

Logical fallacy. Can't attack the argument so attack the character by implying the person is uncaring. Classic.

If the numbers can be used as a fear mongering tool than they're open to rational interpretation.

J.Mac didn't force those 3 people nor any of the other 6,997 covid free people to attend.
Jim, you love mainstream numbers so 1,040 cases, according to your source, out of 8,248,612 cases, according to the cdc, and 13 deaths, your source, out of 223,070, CDC. Intimidating.
Ariel, Problem is when the quarantines are completed and lifted again - We could well see a return to corona days!!! How often do we isolate and quarantine.
Yeah, and 99% of people will be fine. We can't hide in our basements forever. Cut yourself off from all virsuses ans bacterias and you are destined to destroy your immune system setting yourself up for major complications from the common cold and other easily, not necessarily convenient or desired, illnesses. Hyper cleanliness is a guarantee to die from a survivable bug.
Please stop the callousness I keep hearing out of you and others who continually harp on the numbers as if they were only that...numbers. Those three were people, souls, children, parents. Even if it was one person, that one person would have been someone's world. Now they're gone.

The poor old bureaucrats are going to have to realize that coronavirus is here to stay for a while.

Vaccine is a dull spark in the distant future.

Everybody is going to have to find methods of getting back to work and make the economy relight - Before vaccine does.

In the UK the politicians are contriving lots of "Tier Systems" for worst affected areas. (Which some boffins are saying is already failing)
Its strange how politics is not curing coronavirus?

Problem is when the quarantines are completed and lifted again - We could well see a return to corona days!!!

How often do we quarantine and isolate.

The Black Death plague lasted for seven years, 1346 to 1353.

From an atheist. This is how the world sees us.

At least three confirmed cases of COVID have now been traced back to his church, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health...Public health officials are investigating the outbreak and said they will work closely with the church to help limit transmission of the coronavirus in the church, which has an estimated attendance of 7,000. The county did not provide any further details about whether the cases were confirmed among staff or worshipers. Attorneys for Grace Community Church did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Remember that, this whole time, MacArthur has painted himself as a persecuted martyr, punished by the government for continuing to hold large worship services. Turns out there was a good reason for that “persecution”: The coronavirus is real. It’s dangerous. And holding in-person, indoor services while rejecting face masks and social distancing is the fastest way...
The most frustrating thing about this is how preventable it was. MacArthur’s actions weren’t noble or brave, but selfish and inexcusable. He cared more about boosting his public image...

I have to learn to play the guitar and then form a Country Music/Country Gospel Band and then get a recording contract and start touring around the United States and Canada and then I will be able to afford to purchase a ranch near Calhan or Ramah Colorado.
