Great Sermon! Praise the LORD for this great man of God and for this blessed and inspiring sermon! May GOD raise up more men like Leonard Ravenhill.
Exceptional Sermon! This is the best, most convicting and God-centered sermon on the motivation for missions, ministry and evangelism that I have ever heard. Every Christian should listen to this sermon and afterward reflect upon whom it is that he serves. I think that if we are honest, the God whom Reidhead describes just may not be the God whom we have been serving. May this sermon lead many to repentance!
Great Sermon! In this sermon Paris Reidhead shows that most people misuse the word 'salvation', claiming to be 'saved' when they're still in the process of being saved. Repentance and belief is a continuous reality - not just some one off 'Sinner's prayer' fired up to heaven a long time ago. Christian's shouldn't neglect the word of truth, which is their sanctification, and if they do then they're probably false converts.
Encouragmet and Request! Greetings Rev.Leonard,
I am particularly grateful to God for your life and ministry. And the fact
that sincere, dedicated and commited men of God like you are around to
assist to those of us who are now coming-up in the ministry.
Listening to your sermons has greatly affected my life and ministry as a
young Evangelist who want to know God as He is and not what as said of Him.
I would therefore be grateful to if you could send me copies of these
sermons(1)Hell Has No Exits, 2)The Judgment Seat of God.
I know it will cost you sending them to me. But I trust that the Good Lord will multiply to you whatever you may spend in this regard.
May God richly bless and equip you for the task ahead.
Thank you.
Yours in the service of Christ,
Paul.
Listen carefully! Here is a word for the saved as well as the unsaved - be careful how you hear the gospel - God will not be mocked...We must redeem the time before time becomes eternity for each one of us....This preacher is a joy to listen too - praise the Lord for His giving to us of men such as these!
Sound teaching This sermon explicates why and how one ought to serve God. If you are a servant of Jesus, then you should listen to this sermon. I do make such recommendations lightly but this one I make without reservation. He clearly demonstrates how the philosophical stench of Humanism drives the lives of many Christians and thier relation to God. I was and am such a one. Listen to this sermon and you might find resembling yourself. Take the time to hear this and move towards Christ-likeness who served God not for Himself but for God's glory...
Great Sermon! wonderful teaching that puts into correct perspective the principles of revival, revival has pre- conditions are these are prayer and repentance, and on going revival is attained by knowing the value of dependance on God.
Very Convicting and Encouraging I highly recommend this sermon to anyone who is struggling with resentment as they strive to fulfill a God given responsibility. Dr. Berg's style is direct, biblical, convicting and full of grace. I have shared parts of this sermon with many friends this week. They too have been challenged and encouraged. The first part of the sermon has to do with commitment in general and the last part deals with the commitment of husbands toward their wives. No woman could resist following a man who leads with such love. May God continue to bless your ministry Dr. Berg!
Great Sermon that everyone needs to hear. Coming from a background of ministers I was never taught what this sermon has taught me. I am 61 years old and have heard thousands of messages but this Sermon has to be the "BEST" I have ever heard. GOD BLESS you and yours. Keep on Preaching!
Great Sermon! This sermon is so worth the listen and application to our lives. Such a great reminder of why we serve and to whom. I often thought I was witnessing to people because it was all for them or to help them come to know Christ. It is to some extent, but more than this, my service is for God's glory. This sermon is a great reminder to us all that all our Christian service is not for us or even for others, but all to the glory of the Lord.
Great Sermon! Why should we serve God? Perhaps you already know the answer to this question. If so, I still hope you'll take the time to listen to this sermon; if nothong else, it will strengthen your belief in a very stirring way (it's a very powerful sermon!). However. if your more like I was, before hearing this, totally committed to serving God, but for SEVERAL reasons, then I pray that you'll listen to this sermon. We all know that it takes a continual effort to keep our "spiritual compass" aligned, and, believe me, I just got a good realignment!). Before the sermon was even over, I realized (as the preacher was very elequently pointing out) that there is ONE AND ONLY ONE reason to serve God, and it is the ONE AND ONLY reason that Jesus served Him. Moreover, Jesus repeated this ONE reason throughout the Gospels. DO you know the ONE AND ONLY reason to serve God? Do you want to be sure? In the name of Jesus, I pray that you will listen to this sermon. And, may you be blessed in all the ways necessary for you to add to God's Glory in all ways!
