Life changing! I'm 19 years old, have been saved since I was 12 and most of my Christian life I've been serving Micah for ten shekels and a shirt. I made God my means to an end but now I make God's glory an end to all my means. May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward of His suffering!
Great Sermon! This sermons shook me as I realized that God corrects those whom he loves, and the way that this sermon was delivered gave me comfort that my own afflictions were not punishments. I loved this sermons and would recommend it to everyone.
Crying for revival. Excellent message. Psalm 85:6, the text of the sermon. Differences between evangelistic campaigns of today and revival worked by God. Account of revival on the Isle of Berneray. At the end of the message, the story of Duncan Campbell's conversion. Difference between human faith and saving faith. Excellent plea for praying for and seeking revival.
Joy. The believer's prospect: full joy; the believer's position: friend of Christ; the believer's place in the world: hated by the world; the believer's power to live: through the Holy Spirit. Great lessons: if we do not obey the commandments of the Lord, if we sin, wrong the Scripture teaching or do not love the brothers, we have not fullness of joy!
Salvation is of God. The truth of justification by faith powerfully defended, affirmation of redemption and atonement. Also, the dispensationalism of the preacher is affirmed here.
Great love of Christ. The text for the sermon is the entire 21 chapter. The tenderness of Jesus seen in His visitation, investigation, manifestation, preparation, invitation, interrogation, revelation and exhortation.
Sanctification. The text of the sermon is Romans 6:1-14. A message about sanctification. Identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection; calculation - counting yourself death unto sin; presentation - dedication of yourself unto God for living for Him.
Great love. Powerful, passionate preaching. Great lessons: Christ's glorification, departure, new commandment, warning to Peter, consolation and revelation. In the Father's house there is place not only for great men like Moses, Paul, Augustine, Calvin and Spurgeon, etc., but for little ones as me. What a great love and grace of God!
Thanks be to God. As an 82 yr old English woman, - this amazing and surely blessed Sermon was a welcome breath of Spring, and I gladly pass it to others. God Bless Paris Reidhead and all who remain faithful to the Living Lord.
Very serious. Hindrances: unwillingness to renounce secret sins; partial dedication of life to the Lord; disobedience to light received; impurity of motives.
