“ Great Sermon! ” Where are the men & women who would sell themselves into slavery for the Redeemer's purchased possession? A wake up call for modern American Christianity or Religiosity. We are slaves to Christ, and should live that way, yet most are afraid to pray and Thank God for their food in a public restaurant. He is worthy of those He dies for!
“ God is good! ” This message is fantastic! I saw my sinfulness through this message and the dangers of today's preaching. Praise God for this opportunity to hear such a message. Thank you!

“ Speaking the Truth as it is in Christ Jesus ” My spirit jumped for joy and conviction as I listened to this message by the beloved brother A.W.Tozer. The "accept Jesus" doctrine preached today in most evangelical circles has to be one of Satan's most successful accomplishments. It ignores the Sovereignty of God and places man's desire and ability above that of God. This is a must listen message and I pray God will use it to enlighten many souls.
“ Great Sermon! ” The Reference to Jessie Penn-Lewis is to the fantastic book, War on the Saints (unabrideged edition). An absolute must read. Amazon.com has it.
“ Great Sermon! ” I had the priviledge of attending Capernwray Bible School England in 1972-73. Major Ian Thomas was a warrior for the truth of God's Word. He has never ever deviated from this path. There are not enough men of God like him.
“ Great Sermon! ” I can compliment this! The blessing of the Lord is being in a right relationship with God, but more, it is the fruit of that relationship too! As you obey God and abide in Him, He leads you, protecting you from temptations and 2nd bests, compromises and wrong decisions, so that you arrive at the wedding alter with "the one", with your soul mate, with the one that you're "in love" with (as an example of this), you didn't settle, so that at the wedding alter, you have no doubts, regrets, you haven't over ruled any red flags, the oxen haven't stumbled (2 Sam 6.6), you're not angry and hindered by God (Num 22.23) your mind is at peace and you may have joy, peace and comfort; it was done right, you abode in God and He led you in His will, arriving at what He wanted out of the goodness of His heart to give you. No sorrow, disappointments, fears, God's displeasure, no convicted conscience, convinced it's right with peace of mind.
Also what a wonderful revelation of God carrying us piggy back smiling at us like with children! Like finding out God loves me as he loved Jesus! Wonderful to find out more about God.
“ In tune with the Spirit ” Tozer was inspired by the Spirit as he preached this sermon. If you are in tune with the Spirit, you will find your heart strangely warmed as you listen and your heart will approve of the Word as He instructs you in your personal pursuit of God.
“ If ever God spoke thru men ” Truly, the grestest and most needed sermon of our time. Outside of Holy Scripture itself, 10 shekels and a shirt has to be the most powerful and genuine word from God in our modern time. It leaves no doubt that God Himself is breathing the truths therein. Not with an audio voice, but THE TRUTH OF THE AGES FINDING THEIR WAY INTO AN OPEN HEART! Every Christian should hear this message, humble their heart and heed the warning. Absolutely shattering!
“ Great Phrase ” Great phrase in this sermon: "The problem with the church today is that it doesn't know enough of what it believes to make it happen, and it doesn't believe enough of what it knows to make it unafraid!" Amen to that!
“ What a Blessing! ” I thank God for the blessings of these classic Audio recordings. This tape on Eternal Purpose is a beautiful vision of who we become when we become Christ's instruments. I don't think that I fully understood the meaning of "living sacrifice" until Pastor Nee explained the effect of my joinder into the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.
