Made your point well Jim. We should all be in good enough company, that instead of praying for our leaders, we vilify them. Ever wonder why some simply don’t want to live a quiet life- they complain too much.

My guess is that if a woman gets the Democratic nomination, he’ll not be on the short list. No matter who the nominee, an African American will be on the ticket. Butt a jig will not be on the list. The mayor still looks like Alfred E. Newman from mad magazine.

With free needles, free medical treatment, dental care, clothing, sleeping bags, tarps, no job needed, just you and a dance with death.
During the depression, Salvation Army sought to provide meals , beds for people who renounced their alcoholism and leaned forward to becoming a upstanding adult. What is so virtuous about slowing killing yourselves with the a government that who have claims to be your savior away from salvation.

Under JD Greer and Moore, the SBC is embarking on the social justice embarrassment prayerathon. If ever there was a more embarrassing moment was listening to the not guilty party wrestle an ill reverential prayer ordered by the popes of the SBC- IFB now, IFB forever.

Before my head injury, I was a member of the Navigators at TTU in the way back machine. I was in ROTC and fell among the the navigators . Those boys could memorize the scriptures like nobody’s business. Their little cards in that brown plastic envelope was always out. I found that the NASB ( 1971) edition was a big help in memorizing scripture. Now a days I need to listen to the same verse over and over , then take to writing it with the same frequency.
As J Vernon Magee said “ you need to meditate on the word of God, like a cow chews it’s cud”.

I have yet to see a swath of homosexuals going to a soup kitchen to feed the homeless. I have yet to see the metropolitan community church hold a blanket drive for the poor. I have yet to see a gaggle of homosexuals hold aloft a giant check for orphans or the food bank or single parents or unwed teenage girls or prisoners released from prison seeking employment.
The LGBT culture does not repay to the community. Now they may take away from the community because many homosexuals do Not live a Will and Grace life. Many are homeless, many are drug addicted, many a sick, many live in abject poverty. For a community that portrays themselves as a loving and accepting community, I have seen in ministry opportunities, the homosexual community will disavow anyone with a diagnosis of HIV or hepatitis. Thus many ill people are thrown aside like trash from the people who most likely made them sick. The SALVATION ARMY doesn’t need Chic Fil A to continue its mission. They by most observations serve God and serve people.
The FCA does need Chic Fil A if it’s supporting Christian athletes.
The sooner nominal Christians stop thinking “Christian” corporations as having the mind of Christ, the better for the bride of Christ.

The “ Black Israelite “ group are a domestic terrorist organization that recently killed people in a kosher grocery store. So as usual CNN gave the terrorist cell a pass and decided catholic boys waiting on a bus ride were the culprits. Oh and the toothless Indian is a grifter.

Rainbows and unicorns for everyone. The local metropolitan community church let out for lunch Sunday and I felt like I was standing next to members of the Adams family.

Well, Mike Lee and Rand Paul walked out of a military briefing and were told to “ not debate or in flame Iran with discussions about further military action”- And watching Trump speak with military brass looking like they all wanted to retire or resign said enough. Once again, I’m back to pondering the president’s mental fitness.

Over 150 years ago, the deconstruction of the biblical text began with various upgrades using Westcott and Hort to update “ the authorized version” of the Bible. Couple this with German higher criticism of biblical theology and you too can have a simple local bible college doing the same as Rutgers.
In the 1970’s many a “ called” pastors candidate left southwestern theological seminary having their faith challenged. That began a conservative resurgence in the 1980’s and I fear that it left the building with the scales being tipped towards the southeastern theological seminary and Liberty university. Nothing good can come from a circus when it’s thought to be the best means to educating the man of God

Reads more like a I’m done with ya’ll letter. But most probably his acronym is due to 80 years of acedemic socialism brought to the collegiate level during the Roosevelt administration(s). I use the plural sense because universities have kept pursuing this communist party line since the Democratic Party began explaining to American public that Uncle Joe Stalin was for all workers.
