Rick wrote: This should not shock or surprise us. The entertainment industry has been hatching this sort oh garbage for years. Sadly, many so called Christians help finance the trash when they buy the music from the label or purchase a ticket for a movie. Buying G rated helps pay for the R. Mama taught me that years ago... So stop financing trash, and boycott the TV. Best to read your Bible instead. Great comment, Rick. The Lord has certainly led me to separate myself from the entertainment industry, the pop culture, and much of the media. Jason Cooley and Joey Faust here on SA have some excellent sermons on these subjects, among other ministers. We tend to think we're stronger and more moral than we really are, but one simply cannot take this stuff in without being affected. |

Ralles wrote: Satan uses any old way to flog his corruption and abomination. From politicians to comic books the Liberal fallacy is trying to brain wash the society into accepting the unacceptable. And it is working in the community and even in the 'nominal' churches. The Liberal motto : Throw away the moral standards of society and keep the criminal corrupt and immoral. Good comment, and add "distracted" to the list. These are fictitious characters, but they still have an influence. |

Rafael wrote: This is a sad day for the Baptist organization. Yes, agreed. There used to be a time when Baptist churches were identified with being Biblicist as well. Sadly, that day seems to be receding further and further into the past.I've prayed for this pastor; I can hardly think of a more difficult situation than this. In order to be truly loving toward his son, he has to warn him that sodomy is a sin, which, if not repented of, will cause forfeiture of an inheritance in the kingdom of God. The world says "love" means agreement, affirmation, inclusiveness, tolerance, and so on, but this is not Biblical love. |

"...protecting gay rights is a defining mark of a civilized nation and must trump national cultures and social traditions."Wow; I can barely believe that I am seeing this. If this is Joe Biden's idea of civilization, then God help us. Ironically enough, widespread acceptance and practice of sodomy eventually destroys civilization. I've seen other people here make comments to this effect, but it truly is amazing that, in such a short time, sodomites have influenced people's thinking in their favor. Just a few short decades ago, this would have been unthinkable. When the inherent sinful nature of mankind is combined with the programming of the media, wicked things happen. |

Read the classics...read them out loud. Good comment; when I saw the headline, I thought, it all depends on the content of the literature in question. |

@ GSTexas,Yes, I believe I read about him being baptized at a Hillsong church in New York here on SermonAudio's news page a few months ago. I certainly echo your prayer for him to be truly saved. |

Great Sermon! Why would a married person be communicating with someone of the opposite sex on his or her cell phone, unless it's a relative or, perhaps, STRICTLY for work purposes? When you marry, things change. If having opposite sex "friends" upsets your spouse, as well it should, then you need to cut that person off. The workforce can be a very dangerous place, especially for women. It is a godly jealousy that wants one's spouse all to him or herself. |

Lisa wrote: So gay marriage is not about love- and in their own words, it is so far removed from what marriage is really all about. No, of course sodomite "marriage" is not about love, nor could it be. I'm referring to love in the I Corinthians 13 sense of that word (agape), not the Christless culture's definition of love, which is basically just about lust driven feelings.Biblical marriage starts with the acknowledgement of Christ as the Bridegroom, permanently wed to His church, the bride. He loves us, forbears with us, forgives us, is longsuffering toward us, disciplines us, and so on. Sodomite "marriage" has no concept of these things; in fact, their wish is to destroy Biblical marriage, which is why they are so adamant about being given the right to "marry." |

Christopher000 wrote: I would love for the truth to be told to every child growing up who has been fooled Into believing that it's not a choice inferring that science can back up the claims. I would love for them, as they glamorize the lifestyles, to show the world what happens to them and how they will most likely die as their bodys break down and rot as their immune systems shut down. I would love to see hospice aids patients in commercials to show the children what the future has in store for them. When the world glamorizes homosexuality, I see the mask of a very beautiful, exotic woman, but hiding behind that mask is a hideous, snickering monster that few are allowed to see. Good comment. It is the end of sin that Satan doesn't want people to think about or see. On the surface, it may look harmless, trendy, or even appealing. But even in this life, sodomy has very ensnaring temporal consequences, not to mention the eternal ones. |
