I believe if God were going to speak to Heidi Cruz about anything it's much more likely that He would have told her (and Ted) that since she claims to be a Christian she ought to be keeping a home and raising those two pretty little daughters instead of out trying to run the world and earn Ted a living. And if Ted were in his Bible as much as he claims to be he would know that.
Yes, and amen!

Ladies, stop acting like men and let the men be men. I am sure most women posting here know better, but let's do and continue encouraging this amongst our daily contacts.
Yes, you're likely right, but it certainly doesn't hurt to bring us into remembrance of these things, so thanks!

Reject the wickedness and rebellion of feminism. "For Adam was first formed, then Eve" (I Timothy 2:13).

Echoes to the comments about sports being a wasteful distraction and an addiction. Perhaps this will be the last straw that causes some to put away childish things and begin to redeem the time. May it be so, Lord Jesus.

I marvel especially at how someone who has been delivered of her own child can say such a thing!

It does seem that preaching against fornication is relatively rare. People act as though it is just inevitable. Solid, hard, Scriptural preaching will force its listeners to make a decision: either repent or stop listening to the preaching.

I recall once visiting a church which a couple who were "shacking up" were allowed to join and be members in good standing. I never went back to that church.

How apropos to encourage everyone to listen to SA daily featured sermon:
The Wickedness of the Papacy
Elder Samuel Ashwood.
Praise God for the handful of preachers who know the truth and are not afraid to preach against the synagogue of satan.
I have listened to this sermon several times, owing to its boldness and rarity in telling seldom-told truths. It is solid, Biblical, and definitely worth a listen. Thank you for bringing it to attention.

Greetings to my brothers and sisters in Christ-

It's such a blessing when God graciously lengthens our days to see the birth of great-grandchildren and allows them to be born! What a refreshing post and timely post this is! Congratulations!!

Christians are usually only interested in spiritual things and are not so enamored with the world, trends and definitely not with comparing themselves with "others" on the net.
Our mirror is the Bible.
Or, at least, this is as it should be. There are many professing "Christians" who seem to love the world, rather than loving not the world, as I John 2:15 commands us. But then, I'm sure you know this.

“ Thank You! ”
Thank you for the study and research you put into these broadcasts. I just listened to "Musical Suicide" a couple of days ago and realized that I was addicted to rock music when growing up in the '80s. It brought me much sorrow of heart and heaviness and I did despair of life and wished for death. Thankfully, the Lord spared my life and saved my soul! All praises to Him!

“ Great Broadcast! ”
It is a sad commentary when even professing Christian parents raise their daughters to prioritize education and employment over marriage and motherhood. Training to be a keeper at home is curiously absent from the upbringing of many of today's women. This makes a woman on her own extremely vulnerable to being used and exploited rather than provided for and protected. It may also cause her parents to be grandchildless.

...I bet there are many Christians planning to visit Disney or watch the next NFL game too. Why do we take our money and time and give it to these sickos? Are we so drunk with entertainment that we can't draw a line in the sand and stop patronizing these perverts? What is wrong with us? What excuse are we making for indulging? This is why are witness has little or no effect. ... If we want to know firsthand what the problem is we need to get real and look at ourselves.
Hear, hear Allie. The Lord has convicted me not to make these people any richer than they already are. They are haters of God who make a mock at sin and love death (Rom. 1:30; Prov. 14:9; Prov. 8:36).

God's people have no business supporting and patronizing them.

Sadly, it's the same in the U.S. It seems more and more that any old excuse will do, or even none at all.

I find Andy Stanley's comment troubling. Christ is the head of the church (Ephesians 5:23) and should have the preeminence (Colossians 1:18). He should be worshiped in spirit and in truth (John 4:23-24). In other words, it's all about the Lord and things should be done decently and in order (I Corinthians 14:40) for His name's sake. It seems like too many churches have the "have it your way" mentality. Perhaps making friends at church is a by-product of membership and service, but Biblically it is not the main thing.

I've never seen Andy Stanley preach in person but have been to churches with a similar format. I find megachurches quite impersonal, and their love of wicked-sounding rock music disturbs me, because it reminds me what the Lord saved me from. I don't like to be confronted with the world when I go to church.

Ladybug, I appreciate you posting the quote from A.W. Pink as well, plus I Corinthians 14:34. Nothing better than the Scriptures to put any matter into proper perspective!

"Spiritual but not religious" usually means someone claims to be a believer in Jesus Christ and to be saved from hell, but deliberately walks in the flesh rather than the Spirit. It's got antinomianism written all over it and is a very troubling, unbiblical way to describe oneself.

Nothing at all is surprising about this; I Corinthians 7 warns of the harm of remaining unmarried without the gift of continence and to what it's bound to lead.

Good comment, Christopher000 in RI.

Sc, I once had a sodomite complain to me about a restaurant that asked a sodomite couple to leave because that restaurant was for families (meaning children were there) and the owner felt the couples display of affection (one had his hand on the others thigh) was inappropriate. This made the local news. The sodomite, that complained to me, biggest issue was that normal couples could get away with the same display of affection. Personally, I think acts as such should be left behind closed doors. Just drives home the point you're making with double standards. The sodomites are very aware of this and find it hypocritical.
Good point, sf, especially near the end of your comment.

"Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge" (Hebrews 13:4).

"To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed" (Titus 2:5).

Discretion is so rare today.
