But don't we realize that every time a Christian couple divorces they devalue the marriage institution, which really has already done more damage than what "gays" and atheists could ever do.
I'm afraid Christians have dug their own grave on this one. Did God change His mind after He inspired Malachi, and spoke through His Son and the Apostle Paul?
Good observation and comment.

Jessica Dawson wrote:
The teaching of forbidding to marry is false doctrine and has been taught by The Roman Catholic Church for hundreds of years. The RCC has not taken heed that forbidding to marry leads to sexual immorality.
"But, because of fornications, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband."
1 Corinthians 7:2 American Standard Version (ASV)
"Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth."
1 Timothy 4:1-3 New King James Version (NKJV)
It is alleged, the RCC policy has been reporting sexual abuse not to the police, but the Vatican. Moreover, that the Vatican has often been covering up sexual abuse at the highest level to the point of protecting paedophile priests in Rome.
Well said, sister!

"Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:" (Matthew 3:8).

"Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them" (Matthew 7:20).

I'm not a "belieber" that Justin Bieber has been saved, either. He should come out from among the wicked pop music industry and be separate and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them (II Cor. 6:17; Eph. 5:11). Where is the evidence that he is a new creature in Christ (II Cor. 5:17)? He's been baptized at least twice that I've read about (here on SA, no less). Based on that, and this article, it sounds like a "salvation" based on his own works rather than the finished work of the Savior, Jesus Christ.

“ Good Program... ”
Many of these issues would indeed be nonexistent if women were in the home, tending to their husbands and children from the safety of that place (Titus 2:4-5; I Timothy 5:14). No amount of legislation can supersede God creating us male and female (Genesis 1:27). This matter will only cause unnecessary and foolish temptation, and some will succumb. Those who think they can handle it cannot (I Corinthians 10:12).

I have to admit comment from Nameless to Lady Virtue went completely over my head, unless there is something in a different thread that is being discussed here. I would say from reading Lady Virtue's posts that the sister already has a great deal of discernment and insights from her walk with the Lord and she post words of wisdom and edification here on SA.
US, thank you for your very kind and gracious words. May God be praised.

And I guess I wasn't the only one who didn't understand the comment from Nameless. Still quite the head scratcher...

Shame on Hillary, though hardly surprising. She needs to go home, and also enjoy her grandchild.

Fellowship isn't required for salvation, but it is a fruit of salvation. I can't imagine a true Christian not desiring fellowship with other believers. I'm a shy person, but even I can't help but to fellowship with others of the faith. There's just something wonderful about discussing the things of the Lord with other likeminded believers.
Amen, brother!

Sadly, for many of us, that is hard to find. This is actually part of the reason I post here at SA, and maybe that's true of others as well.

Ladybug and Frank, thank you for your comments. I'm grateful for your uncompromising stand on Biblical truth.

Amy Grant has been a CCM mainstay since the late '70s. In other words, her slippery slope of compromise has been evident for a long time. CCM is derived from rock and roll, which is the devil's music. She long ago learned the way of the heathen (Jeremiah 10:2), so her adultery and now partnering with abortion supporters such as Melinda Gates should not surprise believers. "Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the Lord?" (II Chronicles 19:2).

Stories like these make me so sad.

When a woman applies herself to her Biblical duties as a wife (Eph. 5:22; I Tim. 5:14), she will not have time to become an idle busybody. As much as machines and technology have made being a keeper at home less time consuming and labor intensive, they have also left women with too much time on their hands, causing boredom--and often ultimately, sin (discontentment, slothfulness, covetousness)--to make inroads.

Dear Get Real/Lady Ozmliad,

Hopefully, you will see this.

Yes, I forgive you. It is my Christian duty to do so, and my Lord and Savior has forgiven me of much.

I pray the surgery proceeded smoothly and that you are well.

Mrs. Evans needs to bear children and guide the house, as she is already married (I Timothy 5:14). Doing this will occupy her time with the Godly work described in this verse and hopefully keep her from blogging and writing books. I believe she's in her early to mid-30s, but she is not getting any younger.

“ Well Done... ”
Another excellently done program, albeit on a sad topic, that puts its finger directly on the problem--sin. The gospel (I Cor. 15:1-4) is the answer and contains the power to effect repentance from fornication and subsequent fatherlessness.

“ Great Sermon! ”
This sermon reminds me of a couple of your previous sermons, "Burning an Image Never to be Erased" and "The Haunting Aspects of Sin." Indeed, I've been haunted many a time since the Lord saved me with memories of wicked rock music and vain, profane speech from movie scripts, as well as the horrid sins of my heathen days. Thank God He brings II Corinthians 10:5 and Philippians 4:8 to mind to counter those sinful thoughts! The holy boldness of your preaching and radio ministries is very much needed. God bless you, brother.

Thank you for the Biblical reminder of what marriage is. This is where the focus is to be for the Christian, not on worldly mentalities of love being some vague, mystical feeling that we are controlled by. People need to adjust their expectations to Biblical reality.

...[S]cripture defines the roles of men versus the roles of women. The real war against women is when we try to make them something that God didn't intend and the same can be said for men. We now have men trying to be half husbands and half wives and we have women trying to be half wives and half husbands. It hasn't worked and will never work.
Amen. As I've heard it said, women fail miserably at being men, and men do poorly at being women. It causes much confusion in marriage, parenting, and life in general. Some things in the Bible are hard to be understood, but this isn't one of them. I've found avoiding much media and pop culture and abiding in the Word keeps me from being sucked into the world's wicked "gender blender."

“ Sad... ”
Another good program, but hearing the quotes from the young people makes me want to cry. It reminds me of Jesus' words about losing one's life when one lives for self but gaining it by serving Him and others. The quote from the 21-year-old woman was especially bleak. Why does she think a wedding HAS to be expensive? And to think she'd rather travel to Europe than be "inconvenienced" with a husband and children, because her life is all about her happiness?! Not minding if she's single forever as long as she's happy...how foolish! I pray the Lord opens her eyes and delivers her from her selfishness. She knows not what she says.

Well, let's see if we hear any media outlet or any presidential candidate say she shouldn't be president because she is a woman and God has not called women to be leaders in society and that women leaders is a sign of judgment as noted in Isaiah 3:12.
And of course the multiple verses on what Christian women are supposed to do; be helpmates to their husbands, keepers at home, mothers to their children and charitable work when the opportunity presents itself.
You're going to have a long wait on your hands to hear this from a media outlet or any of the other candidates, my friend. Even so, let God be true, and every man a liar.
