Reformed Protestant from Missouri says... For the first time I am ashamed to be a New Mexican! I wish my home state would have taken a stand against the tide"...Just "identify" as a Mississippian... Most of the nation looks at us as backwoods, ignorant mountain kin, but we certainly aren't killing are our kiddos like the rest of them. There is only one abortion mill open here. And it is surrounded by protesters every day... There must be something in being "behind" the rest of the nation is wealth, population, and prestige. It seems the people here have a much greater, general understanding, of right and wrong. Not being a native of Mississippi, I can look around with a sort of outside look, and it is very encouraging to know that there are still some states that hold to God's word better than most... At least we don't live in stolen shopping carts and pretend we are typing on a computer with a piece of cardboard...😅 |

Trump knows what he is doing...What is the only government job that is a lifetime appointment? The judges! The best way to get position across is to make them last as long as possible... And the best way to make them last as long as possible, is through lifetime appointments... |

We are falling back to the minds of the barbarians...We just don't noticed it as well, because we are surrounded by advanced technology. We murder our babies and old people. Why? The same reason the savages did. They are not physically beneficial to everyone else. We are loosing our ability to communicate properly. Why? The same reason the savages did. We are not teaching our progeny the right way to communicate. We are stealing from other (aka income tax). Why? The sames reason the savages did. We want what others have, so we'll take by force. This is the path of those who reject the truths for life found in the Scriptures. We have nearly reached every check mark before a civilization collapses. We will see how long it takes... |

The civil war could certainly have been avoided by both sides...The issue of slavery was NOT the only issue. It was one of many issues. Why else did Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation half-way through the war? You would think he would legally "free" the slaves at the very beginning if it was that was the main point... But he didn't... The biggest reason for the civil war was... "Do States have a right to leave a Union they joined by their own decision?". That was the purpose of the war. The slavery issue was a great (and top five) issue but not the main reason. |

Man, since the beginning, has been in a constant struggle of who is stronger. Who can make who, enslaved to the more powerful. The Romans took the men of conquered nations and enslaved them. They could buy their freedom back if they saved their money though. The USA had slaves to pick their cotton, and work the land. But, they we're always afraid they would runaway. And now, we have a new form of slavery. One where the enslaved can do nothing about it. The babies of today are enslaved to the wishes, and fickleness of their mothers. Slaves to the wants of society, and the whims of the lawmakers. Slaves that are killed if they are not deemed worthy to enter the world. Once again, it's the powerful preying on the weak. Except this time, instead of javelin's, armor, and foreman's whips. It's nice suits, smartphones, and air conditioned rooms. The helpless enslaved to the strong, just like it's been since the beginning of time... |
