'The Infant Would Be Kept Comfortable': Is Virginia's Governor Pro-Infanticide?
Virginia’s Governor Ralph Northam (D) defended a proposed abortion bill in Virginia that allows a pregnant woman to abort her child up until the moment of birth by taking it a step further.
In an interview with WTOP, Northam, who is a pediatric neurologist, said regarding the bill proposed by Fairfax Delegate Kathy Tran, “This is why decisions such as this should be made by providers, physicians, and the mothers and fathers that are involved. When we talk about third-trimester abortions, these are done with the consent of obviously the mother, with the consent of the physicians — more than one physician, by the way — and it's done in cases where there may be severe deformities, there may be a fetus that's non-viable."
"In this particular example, if a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen," he continued. "The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept...

As their equally a contrast of PS 1 of the wicked & all are wicked who are unregenerate still, living to please the fallen flesh amen!

PBS News Hour wrote: Yes, well it started with Andrew Cuomo in New York, where they passed a bill with full-length abortion.
And I — you can have pro-choice, pro-life — I thought Andrew Cuomo made a mistake in lighting up the tower on the World Trade Center. Abortion is a tough issue. You don't celebrate it, a full-term abortion, with lighting up a tower in celebration of your law.
Then the — there was a bill proposed in the Virginia legislature to do this, and the legislator was asked, would she — could you abort a baby just before it was in the birth canal? And she said yes.
And he was trying to explain it, the governor was, with — very medically, that the — if a child comes out with some problems, then the physician and the parents would decide whether or not to resuscitate.
And, to me, that's not my understanding of the Hippocratic oath. If a baby is on a table, it's not even abortion anymore. It's a baby breathing on a table. And that's a human being, whatever you think of the pro-life issue.
And so we're pushing new territory, I would say, in this debate, territory that almost no other country in the world endorses.

Ben’t deceived by those who surepress the truth in acts of unrighteousness. Who don’t have a foundation, that the beginning of Wisdom, comes with a Godly reference of Fear of who He is. Utterly Holy & unchanging! Don’t be deceived by flattery tongues that give mere lip service, as no one can escape death or out live Christ judgement. It’s utterly amazing how the Nazis & Planned Parenthood founder & current leadership go hand in hand, & many who are spiritually blinded in calling evil good, WOE to them!
Jesus says in Mat 18:6 regarding the inestimal value & transcendent worth of children: But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck & to be drowned in the depth of the sea.
Governor in black face or KKK robe? The Virginia governor isn't very popular with a lot of Democrats either, Wayfarer Pilgrim
Marie Albiges, Gordon Rago and Elisha Sauers wrote: A photo from Gov. Ralph Northam’s medical school yearbook shows him and another person in racist costumes — one wearing blackface and one a Ku Klux Klan robe and hood, though it was not clear which person was the future governor.
Hours after the 35-year-old photo came to light Friday, Northam apologized for his decision to appear in it. Elected officials and activist groups from across the political spectrum called for him to resign.
But in a video posted to Twitter Friday evening, Northam said he had spent the past year “fighting for a Virginia that works better for all people” and he would continue to do so throughout the rest of his term, which ends in January 2022....

Marty, conservative Jews are accurate on their views of abortion since they were Protestant views not so long ago, at least they are not inaccurate about both abortion and Jesus as the Romanish church isđź‘Ž
One distinction that must be made, what is “non-viable”? Is is children who have a severe deformity? Old people who cost money, people who have a predisposition to cancer or other illnesses? Or is it, I just don’t want them? Who is deciding what non-viable is? Of course, non-viable can’t mean the loser leftist who is living in his parents basement either playing video games, watching porn, or planning their next social justice march. Go figure.
Oh and the good governor has a old college photo of himself either in black face or in a kkk robe, either way, white liberals love to talk about being helpful to people of color, sort of like a camp guard at Auschwitz asking the next train load of people to disrobe and get a warm clean shower for a good night sleep. Apparently there is no difference in a racist poor man or a rich governor .
The problem is that few are talking about what this really is. It is not about women’s rights, or saving the mothers physical or mental health. It all comes down to making euthanasia one step closer to being socially acceptable. That is the goal: to kill non-viable members of society. It will culminate with the final decision of who is viable not being the physicians or the parents, but the government itself. That is scary.
Man, since the beginning, has been in a constant struggle of who is stronger. Who can make who, enslaved to the more powerful.
The Romans took the men of conquered nations and enslaved them. They could buy their freedom back if they saved their money though.
The USA had slaves to pick their cotton, and work the land. But, they we're always afraid they would runaway.
And now, we have a new form of slavery. One where the enslaved can do nothing about it. The babies of today are enslaved to the wishes, and fickleness of their mothers. Slaves to the wants of society, and the whims of the lawmakers. Slaves that are killed if they are not deemed worthy to enter the world. Once again, it's the powerful preying on the weak. Except this time, instead of javelin's, armor, and foreman's whips. It's nice suits, smartphones, and air conditioned rooms. The helpless enslaved to the strong, just like it's been since the beginning of time...
If given wiggle room, the pro kid killing crowd will always side with killing kids. Dr. Mengele was an example on how to make killing children and the useless eaters disappear. The RNC has been beaten with a flawed president as the bat, But if there was ever a time to stand with clarity it is now. The candidates and politicians of the Democratic Party are evil. Their intentions are wicked and anyone who is affiliated with them is bound for hell . It is only with sorrow of their sin, repentance of their misery and Christ as their savior can they be saved.
"When the life of the mother is truly threatened by her pregnancy, if both lives cannot simultaneously be saved, then saving the mother’s life must be the primary aim. If through our careful treatment of the mother’s illness the pre-born patient inadvertently dies or is injured, this is tragic and, if unintentional, is not unethical and is consistent with the pro-life ethic. But the intentional killing of an unborn baby by abortion is never necessary."
You are beginning to sound more like a parrot than a troll. But, neither responds to specifics that are posted and you have never responded to the above.
The answer is of course the governor is pro infanticide. All abortions from the moment of conception are the murdering of infants. The mere fact that he would actually allow them to be murdered after birth puts him at a different level of infanticide; nothing more. Anyone who suggests that the “targeting” of an unborn life isn’t infanticide is simply playing with words.

I can think of two instances in Scripture (Benjamin and Ichabod) where the life of the baby was sustained as the mother passed away in labor. I can think of no instances that support the position you are posting. What Scriptural support do you find for such thinking?
PLus note where the Democratic governor stands,
"No woman seeks a third-trimester abortion except in the case of tragic or difficult circumstances, such as a nonviable pregnancy or in the event of severe fetal abnormalities.”
Kind of hard for the mom and doctor to make a decision if mom has passed away. Haven't found any research that states anything other that what ladybug has told you several times there is no need to perform an abortion in order to save the life of a mother.
Wikipedia wrote: ... A core text in rabbinic law crystallizes the status of the fetus. The Mishna explicitly indicates that one must abort a fetus if the continuation of pregnancy might imperil the life of the woman.
If a woman is in hard travail, one cuts up the offspring in her womb and brings it forth member by member, because her life comes before the life of her foetus. But if the greater part has proceeded forth, one may not set aside one person for the sake of saving another. ....
The Rabbinical Assembly Committee on Jewish Law and Standards takes the view that an abortion is justifiable if a continuation of pregnancy might cause the woman severe physical or psychological harm, or when the fetus is judged by competent medical opinion as severely defective. The fetus is a life in the process of development, and the decision to abort should never be taken lightly. Thus, the Conservative position is in line with some of the Acharonim who permit an abortion in case of acute potential emotional and psychological harm.
Before reaching her final decision, Conservative Judaism holds that the woman should consult with the biological father, other members of her family, her physician, her Rabbi and any other person who can help her in assessing the many grave legal and moral issues involved.
