Judge Supporter wrote: JS 3:6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. 3:7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: 3:8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. 3:9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. 3:10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. 3:11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? 3:12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh. .. 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. I have been in hopeful prayer for this man, Obama, that God will change his heart and bring him into the knowledge Christ - as I pray. I am looking for God to move.He might be redeemed any moment. |

Mike wrote: Before you make claims about what God ordained, you should check out how the country so ordained was set up. You might even look into who it was went to war against it. Or, you can continue revising history. Just remember kidding oneself is seldom a good idea. The Confederate flag is still over the hearts of all racists; mostly in the church. I am sure God has a controversy with those who think they are not like other men, those who judge by outward appearances, and those who are not yoked equally with those of whom God made one; without distinction.Enough said! I'm not going through Jericho and I'll get rid of my beast of burden before I let the broken, rejected, poor, neglected, ostracized, wounded, and bound (unlike myself) ride it to an inn. There will be no tab to pay. There will be no cake to eat. |

Cody wrote: they know that he is coming to destroy their country Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand (Rom 14:4); God alone is omniscient. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God (1 Cor 2:11); I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty (1 Tim 2:1,2) Then saith Pilate unto him, Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee? Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin (Jn 19:10,11) Obama is a servant to the Most High God, as we all are. God works all things according to His plan and not another. Pray for a open door to the entrance of the Gospel into the hearts of both Obama and unredeemed Kenyans to the glory of God. |

Dave wrote: Our lord Jesus Are we prepared to speak the truth in love to those among them, those who might be lost? Are we prepared to tell them of the hope that lies within our hearts? Or, will we, Christians, simply have a secular worldview of them. Our sovereign God has led them here for us to love and give our lives as servants for the sake of the Gospel. God gave them to us whether for good or evil BUT for His eternal purpose and glory. We are gifts to them. |

Christopher000 wrote: Carl, with the load you are up against, you might consider a good, qualified Christian therapist who can help you to sort things out and deal with them in ways you probably hadn't even considered. A Christian, a born again Christian therapist will approach situations from a biblical perspectice as well and that 3rd party may be just what you need. Just getting someone to listen intently and genuinly care with a Godly concern all by itself would lighten the mental load. I'm not a fan of meds, but often they are beneficial short term, and taken when needed, like to take the edge off anxiety, etc until one learns how to deal with the specific situations at hand. Study 10: To destroy the works of the devil | Deane Meatheringham Are we adding fuel to the fires of sin and evil? Are we digging holes for ourselves? This message will cause you to consider your ways. Only a coward would walk away from this challenge of listening to this message _ Study 10: To destroy the works of the devil | Deane Meatheringham. It is listed above in the "Recent Commented Sermons." |

Mike wrote: The heading says Church of England to consider 'transgender baptism' service I see quotes around "transgender baptism" but not around "Church" It should be "in" fire, or "by" fire. Nothing less. They should not be made to feel comfortable. |
