I never said that they didn't pray, I know faith without works is meaningless but at the same time none of these gays are reading this artical so why are we so quick to throw out scripted to o r another? Seems we want attention. Plus there was a recent poll that asked how much christians prayed on average it turns out we only pray 25 mins a week. If that isn't staggering I haven't much else to say. But I still thank we should pray and speak both work hand and hand. How can we work for God if we don't first know him through prayer, study and relationship? Again I didn't say we don't pray I just won't to reineragte it.
P.s 1 Timothy 2:1 James 5;6 2 chronicles 7:14 and not just these verses but remember Jesus prayed for all of us and all he and his disciples had was the old testament that being said the old and new testament work in concordance with each other. Remember Jesus fulfilled the laws of Moses why then should I base prayer mainly on the new testament? Again pray for revival and mercy.
As christians we should pray for others. It's not that our prayer would change people but that God by his grace would reveal to people there sins. Our church's are just like the world knows days as you can see. If the salt of the earth loses it saltiness it is useless and will be thrown out. Without prayer we have no God filled people or church therefor the world has no example to follow. Prayer is a basic step but a very important one. Just pointing the finger and waiting to be raptures will bring no hope, to pray is to be in battle for souls how could we not pray for others.
I notice that most comments never say anything about praying or wrapping for the nation or the mislead pastors or the homosexuals or anything. We have forgotten prayer with blood sweat and tears, we christians haven't prayed enough. The world is like this because the church the Christians became white washed on the outside. If we lose broken hearted pray we lose the nation and that is why thing are how they are. Lack of prayer for the lost and lack of prayer for the church, pastors and our own children, we are quick to point the finger at everyone else but ourselves. Pray for revival and things will change, pray with out ceasing.... Pray and and God will hear our cries and fix this nation.
It seems like a selfish argument to me. People aren't willing to wait for marriage, to have sex. Yet they want sex without the by product! So abortion should be legal so there selfish sex lives can be better! It is amazing how crazy this generation is...
