Calls for Benedict’s Resignation and Arrest

We have never found ourselves in agreement with Dawkins before, and it is unlikely we ever will be again; and undoubtedly he has his own agenda for his condemnation of Benedict, which is easily discerned; but nevertheless what he said about this whole matter was right on target. He wrote: “‘Should Pope Benedict XVI be held responsible for the escalating scandals over clerical sexual abuse in Europe?’ Yes he should, and it’s going to escalate a lot further, as more and more victims break through the guilt of their childhood indoctrination and come forward. ‘Should he be investigated for how cases of abuse were handled under his watch as archbishop of Munich or as the Vatican’s chief doctrinal enforcer?’ Yes, of course he should. This former head of the Inquisition should be arrested the moment he dares to set foot outside his tinpot fiefdom of the Vatican, and he should be tried in an appropriate civil – not ecclesiastical – court.”

Maybe not Mike, but as I said, even if the pope doesn't end up in the dock, there is a kind of “poetic justice” in those things which I have cited below that have flowed from the RCC clergy abuse scandal.

How different does my experience tally with yours. Upon reading Rev. 17 & 18, and being brought under conviction by the Holy Spirit that references in these texts to the 'Great Whore' and the 'MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS IN THE EARTH' can only answer to the church of ROME, though it was a painful TRUTH to confront, I could not do otherwise but leave. The Great Whore is not the Bride of Christ. This is a most solemn matter indeed. May God grant you both grace and courage to come out from among her as well, that ye be not a "partaker of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues." (Rev. 18:4)

Bring the Pope to Justice

I telephoned a distinguished human-rights counsel in London, Geoffrey Robertson, and asked him if the law was powerless to intervene. Not at all, was his calm reply. If His Holiness tries to travel outside his own territory—as he proposes to travel to Britain in the fall—there is no more reason for him to feel safe than there was for the once magnificently uniformed General Pinochet, who had passed a Chilean law that he thought would guarantee his own immunity, but who was visited by British bobbies all the same. As I am writing this, plaintiffs are coming forward and strategies being readied (on both sides, since the Vatican itself scents the danger). In Kentucky, a suit is before the courts seeking the testimony of the pope himself. In Britain, it is being proposed that any one of the numberless possible plaintiffs might privately serve the pope with a writ if he shows his face.

- An unwelcome mat for the “pope's” upcoming UK visit
- Anger, division, strife, finger-pointing, blame-shifting . . within the "pope's" own ranks
- Anger of the “homosexuality community” over remarks made by some of their own
- Anger of the media & the Jewish community over remarks made by some of their own
- Anger of the ABUSED over insensitive remarks made by some of their own
- Forced public apologies / humiliation
- Forced resignations of high profile R.C. hierarchy
- Priests, Bishops, Cardinals, “pope” named & shamed
- Exposure of self-incriminating internal “secret documents” vis a vis court transcripts long concealed
- Indicting and damning reports . . the Boston Globe expose . . John Jay Report . . the Ferns Report . . the Murphy Report . . the Ryan Report . . and others pending
- A public relations nightmare
- Fresh allegations emerging daily which further erode the shaky foundations of this false church

- poetic justice: a strikingly appropriate reward or punishment, usually a ‘fitting retribution’ by which a villain is ruined by some process of his own making.

BRASILIA, Brazil — A Brazilian official says that three former altar boys allegedly sexually abused by a Roman Catholic priest have received threats and are under police protection.

An adviser to the Senate pedophilia commission says the three were threatened after they denounced Monsignor Luiz Marques Barbosa for allegedly molesting former altar boys in northeastern Alagoas state.

Renato Paoliello said Friday that a priest collaborating with authorities is also receiving police protection after being threatened. Paoliello did not specify what kind of threats the four received.

Police are investigating the allegations against Barbosa, who is under house arrest.

Was Munich's Vicar General Forced to Serve as Ratzinger's Scapegoat?

During his time as archbishop in Germany, Joseph Ratzinger, now Pope Benedict XVI, chaired a meeting in which a pedophile priest's living arrangements and therapy were discussed. He must have been familiar with the man's criminal past.

Catholic Church officials assigned full responsibility for the reassignment of a known pedophilic priest to retired vicar general Gerhard Gruber who served as deputy to Joseph Ratzinger when he was archbishop.

The emergency plan was hastily assembled in the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising on the evening of March 11, a Thursday. The Süddeutsche Zeitung newspaper had exposed the scandal surrounding pedophile priest Peter H., and the affair over sexual abuse in the church was getting dangerously close to the pope

"We're here because we're trying to bring to the world this terrible crime," said Arthur Budzynski through a translator. Budzynski is a victim of Father Lawrence Murphy. Murphy is believed to have abused some 200 boys while he ran the St. John's School for the Deaf between 1950 and 1974.

From the preceding chapter, we can know this command is to those in Babylon, referred in Rev. 17:5 as "MYSTERY, BABYLON, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS IN THE EARTH", and we know from the description that follows on in Rev. 17 that can only answer to the false church of ROME.

In his time, the late Fr. Marcial Maciel Degollado was the greatest fundraiser of the modern Roman Catholic church. He was also a magnetic figure in recruiting young men to religious life in an era when vocations were plummeting. Behind that exalted façade, however, Maciel was a notorious pedophile, and a man who fathered several children by different women. His life was arguably the darkest chapter in the clergy abuse crisis that continues to plague the church.

VATICAN CITY — Pope Benedict XVI accepted the resignation Thursday of an Irish bishop who admitted he didn't challenge the Dublin church's policy of covering up the sexual abuse of children by priests.

Bishop James Moriarty of Kildare is the third Irish bishop to resign in the past four months as a result of the Irish abuse scandal, and two more have offered to go. He said he was stepping down because he realized that "renewal must begin with accepting responsibility for the past."
