BILLY GRAHAM TELLS ROBERT SCHULLER HE BELIEVES PEOPLE CAN BE SAVED APART FROM JESUS CHRIST!

Dr. Robert Schuller interviews Reverend Billy Graham on T.V. Graham says he believes people can be saved without knowing Jesus Christ as Savior. This is the standard line of the New Age Religion, of the Roman Catholic Church, and the Liberal Ecumenical Movement!

"The Catholic Church Is The Closet Of Gays", Colombian Priest Writes In His Book
SUNDAY 16 MAY 2010

Father Germán Robledo, former head of the archdiocesan ecclesiastical tribunal, wrote that the third largest diocese of Colombia is rife with active and uncorrected homosexuals and heterosexual priests who prey upon young people, have fathered children and used parish funds to pay off the extortion demands of their boy-lovers and the fees for procurers.

Fr. Robledo, a priest for 45 years who served on the tribunal for 23 years, said that since he first presented his allegations and evidence of sexual and financial misconduct by priests in the archdiocese, the problems have increased "due to the lack of control and vigilance". He indicated that the Archbishop has done nothing to stop the misconduct of his priests.

He denied that the Catholic discipline of priestly celibacy is the problem, saying that the priest's life gives opportunities to predatory homosexual pedophiles to "lead a double life".

"It is the refuge of those who do not dare face their families. The Catholic Church is the closet of gays."

Bishops work for the Vatican: Real aim is to disown the church's victims.

Source: The Palm Beach Post
Link: http://www.palmbeachpost.com/opinion/editorials/bishops-work-for-the-vatican-real-aim-is-697936.html?cxtype=rss_editorials

Excerpt:
The Vatican on Monday asked a U.S. district court in Kentucky to dismiss a lawsuit that seeks to hold the Holy See accountable for the failure of bishops to prevent or report child abuse by priests.

The Archdiocese of Louisville agreed in 2003 to pay $25.3 million to 243 victims of sex abuse. But in the current case, filed in 2004, Mr. McMurry argues that the Vatican owes victims compensation beyond that. He is seeking class-action status that could cover thousands of plaintiffs.

The relationship between the Vatican and bishops is complicated, both in theological matters and for more mundane legal issues, such as to what extent the Vatican can protect its bank accounts from plaintiffs. But whatever the legal reasons for the Vatican to disown its bishops, the assertion that bishops are independent contractors of some sort has the distasteful effect of disowning victims that, regardless of whether the Vatican is legally responsible, the church failed to protect. It's hard to find a moral defense for that legal defense.

"The Vatican on Monday will make its most detailed defense yet against claims that it is liable for U.S. bishops who allowed priests to molest children, saying bishops are not its employees . . "
****
And if that fails, the shifty / dodgy Vatican lawyers might consider a plea of "collective insanity"!

Vatican Adopts An Old And Tired Defense Strategy In Sex Abuse Case

Excerpts:
The Vatican has signaled that it will employ a legal defense in a clergy child abuse case similar to that of companies in the Gulf of Mexico oil disaster: It's not our fault.

Pity, that.
This more detailed defense is especially interesting in light of something that Pope Benedict said last week:

"...the greatest persecution of the church does not come from enemies on the outside, but is born from the sin within the church; the church therefore has a deep need to relearn penance, to accept purification, to learn on one hand forgiveness but also the need for justice."

"Forgiveness is not a substitute for justice."

Exposing those who speak lies in hypocrisy (1 Tim. 4:2)

From the article: "Levada's supporters say it's unfair to judge him outside the context of the era . ."

The Real Horrendous and Nefarious Crime? Not Calling the Police
Patrick J. Wall, a R.C.
http://patrickjwall.wordpress.com/2010/05/01/notcallingcops/

“Church documents show that the crime of bishops, priests, deacons, and religious raping and sodomizing children has been known and understood by the Roman Papacy for at least a millennium. Pope Saint Pius V (1566 -1572) referred to the crime against children in his Constitutions of August 30, 1568 as horrendum illud scelus: that horrendous crime.

Pope Pius V concluded in the sixteenth century that punishment must be severe and the offending clerics turned over to civil authorities.
Clerics were handed various punishments including a life of rowing in the gallows and even death.
For the U.S. bishops or William Cardinal Levada of the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith to claim they did not understand the gravity of the problem or what to do until 1984 is lavender lunacy. And a downright lie.

The penalties and procedures to stop bishops, priests, deacons, and religious that permanently sexually scar children have been available for centuries."

A Word in Season . .
God's Word: 1 Pet 3;14-16

"But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be always ready to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ."

Jim,

"Pope says gay marriage is "insidious and dangerous"

I say . . the "pope" is insidious and dangerous!
When you think about it . . what the "pope" has to say is really quite irrelevant to Christians because he is the head of the church of antichrist!

Christ is the only voice we hear . .

1835
In his Conspiracy Against the Liberties of the United States, Morse wrote:

“Surely American Protestants, freemen, have discernment enough to discover beneath them the cloven foot of this subtle foreign heresy.

They will see that Popery is now, what it has ever been, a system of the darkest political intrigue and despotism, cloaking itself to avoid attack under the sacred name of religion.

They will be deeply impressed with the truth, that Popery is a political as well as a religious system; that in this respect it differs totally from all other sects, from all other forms of religion in the country.”

A word to the wise . .

Perhaps you misunderstood my post. Allow me to clarify.

The list of excuses I cited, as reported in various media accounts, were those which ROME has previously sought to ascribe blame for their clergy sex abuse scandal! Don't take my word for it. Do a GOOGLE search and you will find this to be the case. A good website to begin your search is 'Abuse Tracker', which chronicles the R.C. clergy abuse scandal daily from credible media sources!

The pope . . the Bishops . . the Vatican blamed everyone else and discovered that that didn't wash, so their transparent admission of guilt was the last card they could play. As I have already said, this is nothing more than a public relations ruse with no higher motive than that of salvaging their besotted image!

Sadly, many remain deceived.

But . . "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." (Gal. 6:7)

Jim,
I'm afraid Paisley's CHRISTIAN witness has been thoroughly compromised by his decision to enter into power-sharing with terrorists in N.I., and his subsequent connection to the funding of sodomites, not to mention his unscriptural admixture of politics into the gospel.

Read Shaun Willcock's article '
Sinn Fein/IRA Triumphant in Northern Ireland here: http://www.biblebasedministries.co.uk
by Shaun Willcock
"In a move that shocked Protestants across Northern Ireland and around the world, Free Presbyterian minister and leader of the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP), Ian Paisley, agreed to his party forming a power-sharing government with Sinn Fein, the Roman Catholic/Marxist party behind the diabolical, murderous Irish Republican Army (IRA).
Although many, weary of the years of conflict in Northern Ireland, think that this coalition government is actually a good thing, or at least “better than the alternative”, it is not. It is nothing less than an alliance with murderers and terrorists – and such an alliance can never, ever be a good thing. As the Scripture says: “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn” (Prov. 29:2)."

“Pope Benedict XVI on Tuesday blamed the church's own sins for the clerical abuse scandal . .”

RELATED: / Source: TIME
Link: http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,1988671,00.html
“Despite the apparent good intentions, something remains unclear, even from Benedict's strong declaration Tuesday: What are the "sins," and for whom the "penitence" and "justice"? For while the rape and molestation of children by a single priest is terrifying indeed, many Catholics now believe that the bishops and Cardinals who let it happen and covered it up and deny their own responsibility are the Church's other enemy within.”

Spiritually, Rev. 18:7 . . Let the world see her bloodstained hands, her deeds of darkness done in corners, and hear the anguished cries of her multiplied millions of victims – victims of her wars, and of her lusts!”

John Y,

While it is true our salvation is not secured through, nor dependent upon membership in a Protestant Church and as you have rightly stated, "church membership is totally superfluous to salvation and gaining entrance into Heaven", notwithstanding, the Bible does contain this express command:

God's Word . . . Revelation 18:4:

"And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues."

From the preceding chapter, we can know this command is to those in Babylon, referred in Rev. 17:5 as "MYSTERY, BABYLON, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS IN THE EARTH", and we know from the description that follows on in Rev. 17 that can only answer to the false church of ROME. Christ has His bride and the antichrist has his whore!

In Christian love,

June, a sinner by birth . . an R.C. by tradition . . made a Christian by God's grace (Eph. 2:8-10) . . a "new creature in Christ" (II Cor. 5:17-21) by virtue of the "new birth" (John 3:3-8) to His praise & glory alone! (Eph. 1:1-6)

And yet this is the homage R.C.'s give to these contemptible and arrogant men who have systematically covered up the rape of hundreds of thousands of children,:

Protocol: Stand when a Bishop enters the room, and remain standing until he invites you to sit. Men should remove their hats in his presence. For your own Bishop, you may kneel on your left knee and kiss his ring as a sign of respect for his office. If kneeling would be akward, or if it is not your own Bishop, you may bow at the waist and kiss his ring. Do not do either if the Pope is present. The same signs of respect should be given when leaving his presence.

From article: "He (Archbishop Dadeus Grings) denounced the abuse within the church, but said internal punishment of priests guilty of abuse was sufficient and that police should not be involved.

'For the church to go and accuse its own sons would be a little strange,' he said."
***********
In 1870 came the great crisis in Roman Catholicism over Pope Pius IX's promulgation of the doctrine of papal infallibility.

"Lord Acton's dictum"
"I cannot accept your canon that we are to judge Pope and King unlike other men with a favourable presumption that they did no wrong. If there is any presumption, it is the other way, against the holders of power, increasing as the power increases. Historic responsibility has to make up for the want of legal responsibility. Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men, even when they exercise influence and not authority: still more when you superadd the tendency or certainty of corruption by full authority. There is no worse heresy than the fact that the office sanctifies the holder of it. "[3]

C.H. Spurgeon wrote:
Popery is contrary to Christ’s Gospel, and is the Antichrist, and we ought to pray against it. It should be the daily prayer of every believer that Antichrist might be hurled like a millstone into the flood and for Christ, because it wounds Christ, because it robs Christ of His glory, because it puts sacramental efficacy in the place of His atonement, and lifts a piece of bread into the place of the Saviour, and a few drops of water into the place of the Holy Ghost, and puts a mere fallible man like ourselves up as the vicar of Christ on earth; if we pray against it, because it is against Him, we shall love the persons though we hate their errors: we shall love their souls though we loath and detest their dogmas, and so the breath of our prayers will be sweetened, because we turn our faces towards Christ when we pray.

Club Ped: Missouri's retreat for pedophile priests
Source: ksdk.com tv – Missouri

May 6, 2010
As Pope Benedict XVI vows to bring action against priests who rape and abuse children, the I-Team has uncovered troubling allegations at a Missouri retreat for pedophile priests.

The Vianney Renewal Center in Dittmer, Missouri, is just 30 miles southwest of St. Louis. . . It's supposed to provide intense counseling, therapy, and strict supervision of priests. But the former therapeutic program coordinator told Investigative reporter Leisa Zigman, priests can get just about anything they want at Vianney, even pornography.

Reyma McCoy worked at Vianney for 10 months. . . She said she is coming forward at great personal risk, because she believes what is happening inside Vianney needs to be exposed to the courts, to citizens, and to Archdioceses throughout the country
