'The funding of sodomite organisations could have been stopped by the OFMDFM, says Peter Robinson' by: Ivan Foster retired pastor of Kilskeery Free Pres. Church http://www.ivanfoster.net/pdf/Feb0901.pdf"In October 2007, I wrote to Dr Paisley a letter outlining my concerns & fears. . . . “The duties of the Office of First & Deputy First Minister were established long before you took up your office. Part of those duties includes the promoting of the rights & the funding of the activities of sodomite organisations. I accept as true your statement that since assuming your duties you have not actually ‘signed any cheques’ or authorised any payments to the coalition that represents the various sodomite organisations that are to benefit from the arrangement made by the Secretary of State. But nevertheless,it is an integral part of the functions of your office to fund & support sodomites. Information supplied by the OFMDFM has since confirmed that monies were paid to the sodomites since the setting up of the present power-sharing Executive. Such payments, according to what Mr Robinson says, could have been stopped by the OFMDFM, therefore there is an inescapable responsibility lying upon the shoulders of the First Minister & Deputy First Minister for those payments" |

I live in the same world as you do, and coincidentally so does Ivan Foster. II Tim. 2:4 “No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.” The Gospel Minister is "separated unto the Gospel" and preaching Christ is his singular call, nothwithstanding your attempts to persuade me and others who affirm and uphold biblical Truth to the contrary! To attempt to promote and advance the Cause of Christ . . the Kingdom of God, while simultaneously promoting and advancing the interests of an earthly kingdom represents a confict of interest that cannnot be reconciled. It is painfully clear to all of us who live in this sinful world that politicians must represent the interests of every segment of society. That is not the role of the Gospel Minister. He has avowed to at all times and in all circumstances, represent Christ's interests, His Kingdom and His Cause alone. The employment that Paul engaged in, as a tentmaker did not require abandoning biblical principles, but I am certain that if it had, he would have sought other employment. "Ye cannot serve God and mammon" Matt. 6:24b |

Gospel Ministers are not to meddle in Politics, for that would be "entangling themselves with the affairs of this life".II Tim. 2:4 “No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.” The Gospel Minister is "separated unto the Gospel" and preaching Christ is his singular call! The Christian is to give no appearance of evil. I Thess. 5:22 "Ye cannot serve God and mammon." Matt.6:24b June, a soldier for Christ |

I was taught well by an FPC Gospel Minister, John Greer, that the Bible plainly teaches “guilt by association”. Some of the sermons he preached in that regard are:# ‘Cause of Christ under Attack’ (Christians . . walking in the counsel of the ungodly) # 'God's Man in the Lions' Den' (man's law subordinate to GOD's law) # ‘Sanctifying the Lord’ (No alliance with the wicked) # 'The Church - Epistle of Christ' (God's people . . a holy people) # 'Unmasking the False Gospel' (Guilt by Association) Foster TOOK A STAND and in so doing, demonstrated that he was and is trusting in God. To trust in God means doing it His way. A Gospel Minister is to uphold biblical principles at all times and is not to become entangled with the affairs of this world. This did Ivan Foster! “No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.” See also Ivan Foster's article: 'The Cry of the Merchants' |

Another perspective: 'The funding of sodomite organisations could have been stopped by the OFMDFM, says Peter Robinson' by: Ivan Foster retired pastor of Kilskeery Free Pres. Church (In November 2008 Ivan Foster retired from the pastorate of Kilskeery Free Presbyterian Church.) “Ever since the controversy over the funding of sodomite organisations, through the Department of the Office of First Minister & Deputy First Minister, arose back in the Springtime of 2007, the DUP response has been to defend its position, by saying that the fund was commenced by the last Secretary Of State for Northern Ireland, Mr. Peter Hain, MP, and, though channelled through the OFMDFM, it is not their responsibility & beyond their control. When the First Ministers discovered that they would have to go along with the arrangement to fund sodomites through their Department, since they were hindered in doing what they would wish to do, namely cancel the funding, they were entirely wrong to continue in that office. They should have immediately resigned & acted according to the principle which moved the apostles as it is recorded in Acts 5:29. “Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.” Entire article here: http://www.ivanfoster.net/pdf/Feb0901.p |

Yes Jim, and as another former Catholic/R.C. Priest, Richard Bennett, has pointed out in his article: 'The Normal Christian Life & Catholicism' at www.bereanbeacon.org"Catholicism can deceive peoples & nations no further & no longer than God will permit. The folly shall be finally manifested, it shall appear that it is the supreme example of“having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof”. (2 Tim.3:5) Many thousands of us have come out of Catholicism to normal Christian life. God’s truth, as we see in Scripture, makes it clear you cannot be right before God & remain true to Catholic teaching, since they contradict & oppose the truth of the Bible on the essential factor of how we enter into a relationship with Him. You may cling to such teachings & traditions to your own eternal peril. Or you may do what so many of us have done before you. Turn to God in faith alone for the salvation that He alone gives, by the conviction of the Holy Spirit, based on Christ’s death and resurrection for His own, and believe on Him alone, “to the praise of the glory of his grace.” (Eph. 1:6) June, a Christian . . "But by the grace of God I am what I am" (1 Cor.15:10a) |

KW III said: "I'm sure June will be just delirious to know that an idolatrous apostate is praising her LOL"I'm not sure what you mean by your remark . . at any rate, I'm not looking for the praise of any man. Speaking the TRUTH just naturally grinds at those who are deceived by the R.C.C., the "MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH." Jim, some sobering comments from an unlikely source on the Catholic "church" in Ireland made in the context of the Ryan Report documenting the R.C.C.'s decades of physical, emotional & sexual abuse of children. For entire artice, Google: Memo to: Catholic Church / From: Irish people / Re: Your services are no longer needed + Irish Central Posted by FatherTIm Excerpt “For the Catholic Church In Ireland, the game is over. The Irish people, and I am convinced it is the majority, no longer wish to have the Catholic Church in their country, or in their lives, and possibly not in their faith. I cannot blame them. The Church is solely to blame for this, from front to back, start to finish. It is reaping what it sewed. There is simply no way that an institution so horriby tainted and so utterly mistrusted can or should speak in the name of Jesus Christ in Ireland, nor attempt to project spiritual and moral leadership. While the Church can and must surrender its criminals and the highly placed conspirators who made the crimes possible and policy, it will never be enough in Ireland. The rage is too strong, a dam has burst. No matter what it does or says, the Church cannot and will not be believed anymore.” (Father Tim is a Jesuit missionary, trained in N.Y. & Boston) |

Amen to your post Careful, and to that I would add the witness of God's own precious WORD, found in these Scripture citations:Romans 9:16: "So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that showeth mercy." Titus 3:5-7 "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life." John 15:16a "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain:" Acts 2:47a " . . . . And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved." |

Friends, this is not an isolated incident, as fully documented in the article entitled 'Still Blood on the Harlot's Lips' written by: Shaun Willcock, Gospel Minister to South AfricaLink to article: http://www.biblebasedministries.co.uk/2009/04/16/still-blood-on-the-harlot%E2%80%99s-lips/ Excerpt: “Rome Still Kills Protestants Whenever She Can Get Away with It “And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus” (Rev. 17:6) Christians must pray for their brethren in Christ in places such as Mexico. You who still enjoy many freedoms: have you any idea what it is like to stand for Christ in a country such as Mexico? If you do not purchase alcohol or participate in drunken revellings of false religious festivals, people may think you are mad, and at the worst you may be laughed at, or jeered; but in Mexico, you may be killed! Bless God for the safer circumstances in which the Lord has placed you; but pray for your brethren in Mexico, and pray for men to be raised up to go to that land with the Gospel; and pray, too, for yourself, for it may be that you will oneday face the trials they are facing. Are you ready to suffer for your Lord?” |

The UN, the pope & the “Holy See”“I Accuse! The Church & Its Abusers' by Vinnie Nauheimer / http://www.dogchurch.org/scriptorium/iaccusevn.html ”The need to protect children around the world is a global priority of United Nations. The U.N. through its UNICEF organization has put together “The Convention on the Rights of the Child.” ARTICLE 19. 1. States Parties shall take all appropriate legislative, administrative, social & educational measures to protect the child from all forms of physical or mental violence, injury or abuse, neglect or negligent treatment, maltreatment or exploitation, including sexual abuse, while in the care of parent(s), legal guardian(s)or any other person who has the care of the child. I accuse the RCC of violating the Convention on the Rights of the Child! The Holy See, which could be a member of the United Nations by virtue of the fact that the Vatican is a city-state, has elected not to become a member of the UN. Rather it has been granted the nomenclature of permanent observer. This means that they enjoy the full rights of every sovereign member except the right to vote. In this way they can lobby . . & not have to go on record as voting for or against an issue. They chose not to support The Convention on the Rights of the Child" |

Christians are called to “fight the good fight”, be set for the “defense of the gospel” & to expose the “workers of darkness”. It is a spiritual warfare to which we are called & the choice weapon of our warfare is the “sword of the spirit” . . .the word of God. (Eph. 6:17) Eph. 6:10,12 "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS IN HIGH PLACES." Just as the Lord confused those who sought to construct the Tower of Babel (Gen. 11:1-9), so the Lord will once again appear to put to confusion the evil designs of these wicked men, who under cover of the Romish church seek to establish a New World Order / Religion. And just as the Lord set a decree to confine the sea, (Prov. 8:29), so will He limit the progress and advancement of their evil agenda. Revelation 17 records the final consumation of the R.C.C., “MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.” (Rev. 17:5) Rev. 11:15b: “And the seventh angel sounded;. . . The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever." |

Amen Mike! R. Bennett, former R.C. Priest of 22 years, now Christian Apologist of Berean Beacon Ministries writes in 'THE ANTICHIRST Unveiled':“None, but God, could have delineated beforehand the “mystery of iniquity,”(2 Thess. 2:7 which is clearly the Office of the Papacy of the Roman Catholic Church. Man could never have anticipated all this; only God foretells it. That a power claiming to act for God, to be “as God,” in the midst of the Christian Church, flouting His truth & mocking His own Holiness, defies imagination. Corruption, fraud, & false pretenses have ruled the world for ages from the very same seven-hilled city where the pagan Roman Empire once ruled by military force. The historic interpretation has been embodied in the most solemn confessions of the biblical world. It forms a leading part in the testimony of martyrs & reformers. Like the prophets of old, these holy men bore a twofold testimony, a testimony for the truth of God, & a testimony against the Apostasy of those professing to be Christian. Their testimony was that Papal Rome is the Babylon of prophecy, “that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth,” (Rev. 17:18) and that its head, the Roman pontiff, is the predicted “Man of Sin,” or Antichrist.” More here: www.bereanbeacon.org |

C. H. Spurgeon on "The Religion of Rome" Jan. 1873 issue of Sword and TrowelExcerpt: “Essence of lies, and quintessence of blasphemy, as the religion of Rome is, it nevertheless fascinates a certain order of Protestants, of whom we fear it may be truly said that "they have received a strong delusion to believe a lie, that they may be damned." [Which you may know is a reference to 2 Thessalonians 2:11] Seeing that it is so, it becomes all who would preserve their fellow-immortals from destruction to be plain and earnest in their warnings. Not in a party-spirit, but for truth's sake, our Protestantism must protest perpetually… The sooner we let certain Archbishops and Cardinals know that we are aware of their designs, and will in nothing co-operate with them, the better for us and our country. Of course, we shall be howled at as bigots, but we can afford to smile at that cry, when it comes from the church which invented the Inquisition. "No peace with Rome" is the motto of reason as well as of religion.” GOD'S WORD/Eph.6:12 "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." A book of interest to commentors here: Satan's Seat' by Shaun Willcock, Gospel Min./Christian Apologist ]]http://www.biblebasedministries.co.uk/ Forward by Author:“Many have realized that, according to Bible prophecy, there is a definite plan in Satan’s kingdom to put the world under the control of one organisation. The Bible contains prophecies about this. But, while Communism is being used to bring this to pass, Communism is not the fulfillment of the prophecies. And, while the Illuminati is indeed a part of the system, the Illuminati is not the apex of the pyramid. Nor is Freemasonry the very top of Satan’s hierarchy, although it is under the control of the system as much as the many other organisations and movements which are all part of the conspiracy. Many Christians have seen that all these groups are aiming for world domination. There is, behind all these groups, a far more powerful and sinister organisation, one which is all the more deadly because it appears so beautiful and holy. According to the written Word of God, as well as the historical evidence which perfectly fits the prophetic picture, this is the Roman Catholic Institution. It is the purpose of this book to bring that truth to light.” |

Dan wrote: "After you were born again, how long did it take for you to discern that the RCC was something you needed to separate from?" Dan, If my memory serves me correctly, I would say it took perhaps 1 or 2 years. I received a Bible from a Christian woman I knew only casually approx. 18 years ago. Though she knew I was Roman Catholic, that did not prevent her from witnessing to me for she knew I did not know the Lord, so she very gently placed a Bible in my hand. As a R.C. I was thorougly ignorant of the Scriptures, but the Lord very quickly remedied that. I began reading the Bible with great interest & I might add with much fear, a fear I came to understand later as a good thing, for the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom! (Job 28:28) This I came to learn to be the "quickening of the Holy Spirit". That same Holy Spirit in time led me to Christ! (Matt. 11:28-30) Over time as I became more acquainted with God's Word, I examined the doctrines & traditions of R.C. & found them to be the very antithesis of Truth. As I was brought under conviction by the Holy Spirit of these painful discoveries, i.e.,that this is the very seat of Antichrist, my husband and I severed our ties with the "great whore" (Rev. 17. By the grace of God I am what I am.. a Christian! 1 Cor. 15:10 |
