I had a friend once who told me that when he was younger he would be laying in bed and immediately he can just sense a presence in the room. Then he said he would feel what seemed like a hand over his mouth and nose and he couldnt breathe very well, and felt like he was suffocating. Then after so long (I cant remember how long he said it was) it would just stop. I forget how long he said that went on for, and there may be more to story than I remember. I could tell he wasnt lying as he wasnt the type. After he told me that, I wasnt thrilled about staying the night at his house lol. I believe his story and yours as well, since demonic oppression is a very real thing. Sometimes I think Christians forget there is a darker, nefarious side to the spirit realm.

Since a church has to apply for a 501c3, Im not sure what your getting at. To answer your question, I dont know. Ive only been attending for a short time, and it hasnt occured to me to ask. Im pretty sure they are not though.

I dont care what the IRS says classifies as a church, God determines what constututes a church as outlined in scripture. Also, the IRS doesnt force pastors to sign a 501c3.
