Under the Mosaic code--What is the BIBLICAL penalty for a man for the crime of fornication
(consenting relations with an unmarried woman)???? ? ? ? ? ? the penalty? The man must marry the woman. Dt.22:28 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found; 22:29 Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days." Which is what Bible believers know, and why it sounds fine that the Bible's solution is what the Palin family says will happen. 
(BTW, this is why I'd never vote for a woman for office)

When called into court for cross-examination, did the Apostle Paul denounce the appropriateness of Rome’s death penalty since he knew that both Rome, which had crucified Christ, and he, who had hunted down Christians in the past, had executed innocent people? The answer is, “No.”

Some are so hung up on "the Greek" they can't read plain English. It should NOT be translated "passover" because the Passover had already passed. The "days of unleavened bread" had already begun (vs. 3), which means the Passover was over (Num. 28:16-18; Exo. 12:13-18). The Passover was always the fourteenth day of the first month, while the days of unleavened bread ran from the fifteenth through the twenty-first. Herod could not have been waiting for the Passover. Besides, why would a Gentile king like Herod be concerned about a Jewish feast day? "Easter" is from the pagan "Ishtar", the goddess that the pagans worshipped--Rome included. manmade global warming is only about 0.6°F, while the sun contributed another 0.6°F. Man’s contribution is slight, and not enough manmade warming has occurred to panic over. There is a good chance that man can do nothing or only very little to change the manmade portion, even if he spent what alarmist suggest to “fight” global warming (although we should always have been and should continue to be good stewards of the resources God has provided us). We have plenty of time for research
We can also learn to adapt by making changes, if global warming continues its slow upward trend, such as building dikes for rising sea level. (Some scientists are actually predicting global cooling in the future based on trends on the sun, but this remains to be seen.) Spending hundreds of billions of dollars a year to “fight” global warming just doesn’t make sense, and is more likely to ruin the economies of first-world nations than make any significant impact.
Global warming for the North could mean lemon groves in N.Dakota!
