Civil officials have a God ordained duty to execute sodomites. The word of God commands, "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them" (Lev.20:13). Have we not been taught that homosexuality is an abomination (Lev.18:22). And those who engage in homosexuality are so vile that their very presence defiles the land and its inhabitants (Lev.18:25-28). This sodomite defilement brings eternal damnation upon all who approve of homosexuality (Rom.1:32, 13:2) and brings God's righteous judgment of punishment and death on the society as a whole (Gen.19:24-25, II Pet.2:6). The Magistrate, in his proper role, "beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to [execute] wrath upon him that doeth evil" (Rom.13:4). Mike wrote: We must ask if this "omission" is a source of doctrinal error. It should not be overlooked that the Lord at different times spoke in words similar to other occasions. It is legitimate to think of the prayer in Matthew, and the prayer here in Luke, were not delivered at the same time and place. And, of course, the 'doctrinal error' would be from the Pastor who said "Jesus taught us to say'... while using 'bibles' that in that very passage, deny He ever said it! Further,Luke, in the Authorised Bible reads: 11:2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. 11:3 Give us day by day our daily bread. 11:4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. " but the TNIV, NIV, etc new corrupt 'bibles' cut out the words "Our" "which art in heaven" "Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth" "but deliver us from evil" only compounding the denial of the doctrine of Providential Preservation! There is not a scintilla of evidence to support insulting statements which regard God's preservation of His pure words as mere superstition. |

]]Palin Has Not Pushed Creation Science As Governor As a candidate for governor, Sarah Palin called for teaching creationism alongside evolution in public schools. But after Alaska voters elected her, Palin, now Republican John McCain's presidential running mate, kept her campaign pledge to not push the idea in the schools. As for her personal views on evolution, Palin has said, "I believe we have a creator." But she has not made clear whether her belief also allowed her to accept the theory of evolution as fact. "I'm not going to pretend I know how all this came to be," she has been quoted as saying. When asked during a televised debate in 2006 about evolution and creationism, Palin said, according to the Anchorage Daily News: "Teach both. You know, don't be afraid of information. Healthy debate is so important, and it's so valuable in our schools. I am a proponent of teaching both." In a subsequent interview with the Daily News, Palin said discussion of alternative views on the origins of life should be allowed in Alaska classrooms. "I don't think there should be a prohibition against debate ..." Still looking anyone know what her Science teacher dad taught??? |

Since Magistrates have such a sure Biblical mandate to protect the innocent people in society by using the sword to execute sodomites (he that doeth evil), why then, are Christians encouraging civil officials to ignore the commandments of God concerning homosexuality? This would be a MAJOR inducement to repent, would it not? |

hidemi williges wrote: They have already tossed out most of the Bible. The passage you cite in 1 Tim is even better with some fore and aft context- and worth repeating here--4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. 4:4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: 4:5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. 4:6 If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained. 4:7 But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. 4:8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. 4:9 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation." |

]]Palin Helps McCain With Religious Right Family Research Council Tony Perkins said, "It's obviously an outstanding choice. Very smart. Very strategic. Richard Viguerie, the conservative icon who has been brutally critical of McCain, was even more effusive, "She's perfect." Setting aside the doctrine of original sin for a moment, religious conservatives do think the selection of Sarah Palin as the vice presidential candidate is pretty near perfect. Richard Land of the Southern Baptist Convention's Ethics and Religious Liberties Commission, was not the only person to observe that she was "straight out of veep central casting." She's active in an evangelical church. She has five children, including one with Down's Syndrome that she chose to give birth to even though she knew the child would be a Down's baby. And, of course, she's a woman. Even Dr. James Dobson of Focus on the Family, who made national headlines when he said he could not support McCain "under any circumstances" admitted that this was a circumstance that he did not think was possible. Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of the Susan B. Anthony List, also praised Gov. Palin's pro-life values. |

"And the children of Israel again did evil in the sight of the LORD,....And the LORD sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan,...the captain of whose host was Sisera, which dwelt in Harosheth of the Gentiles. And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD: for he had nine hundred chariots of iron; and twenty years he mightily oppressed the children of Israel. And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time....: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment. And she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedeshnaphtali, and said unto him, Hath not the LORD God of Israel commanded, saying, Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun? And I will draw unto thee to the river Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin's army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thine hand. And Barak said unto her, If thou wilt go with me, then I will go: but if thou wilt not go with me, then I will not go.And she said, I will surely go with thee: notwithstanding the journey that thou take takest shall not be for thine honour; for the LORD shall sell Sisera into the hand of a woman." His name BARAK,despite Heb.11:32,is uncommon due to his weakness |

"The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed."
