This climate change stuff is the biggest hoax since social security...

When government officials start talking about taking our rights to "fight" something that hasn't even been proven, you know they are on to something that has nothing to with the subject but rather has all to do with subjugation...

Any person with a mind bigger than a oppossum's, knows that the earth goes through cycles. And even if "climate change" (it used to be called global warming) is true, it us much better than global cooling. If we lost any farm land to a colder climate it would be really bad...

I am not concerned at all about the world when it comes to climate change, but rather concerned about what rights will be taken while our nation goes through the lastest snake oil agenda by the liberals...

Jim congratulations...

People are still paying attention to you even though we all know your just sitting in your parents basement eating Doritos...

We all know the biggest thing you did today was go to the other side of the room and grab a diet Coke out the fridge. Afterwards you went back to your old computer and switched between Super Mario and Sermon Audio depending on who responded to your post...

Your doing a good job...

I don't think CA Democrats consider the poverty rate a problem, for dependent poor people are precisely whom these Progressives want as constituents.

Exactly right. These people want a society completely dependant on the government. More people in poverty means more people you can control...

question: "Why do we not love our neighbor as ourselves?"

God has given every Christian a job to do while here in earth. And "loving your neighbor as yourself" comes in many different ways.

I may drive by the abortion mill every day, and never stop to try to save babies. And the reason may be because all my ministry free time is spent at the local jail preaching to inmates...

We all are not called to the abortion mill, prison ministries, and the mission field. God has called us to different things to glorify Him, none of which are more important than others, but all of which are important and God Glorifying...

Not in Mississippi...

The average pay has only been 79 cents for the last century...

If we started making $29 (much less 29 more dollars) all of us could move from carts to cars...

Living fully American, Millennial style...

1. Get indoctrinated for the first 18 years of your life at school...

2. Get heavily indoctrinated for four more years at college...

3. Get out of school, get a dead end easy job (while living in you parents basement)...

4. Play video games in the evenings and all day on the weekends...

5. Play more video games...

6. Decide to emerge out of the basement to "get started" in life at 35-40.

7. Play video games in your own basement...

All this while the culture around them rots to the core morally, and starts to rot physically...

I wonder what people would say if the headline went...

"Airline passenger stands for six hour so her husband can sleep"...

God designed us to build one, lifetime relationship with one woman. We you build these short, shallow dating relationships you are essentially giving your heart to people in small, miserable bits...

It causes you to have a low veiw of marriage since you already have been in deep emotional relationships before. Marriage become nothing new or special, except now you pay the bills together...

Meanwhile, having only one solid relationship with you wife causes you to cherish and value it more. All that you know and learn about having a bond is from her and her only. It makes for a much more trusting, stable, and happy marriages...

Of course pretty much everyone on here is married already, but this is how I see it, being unmarried and never been (nor plan to be) in any boy/girl relationship except with my future wife...

And I'll tell you what, the girls these days are crazy. It will be a blessing from the Lord to find someone who actually loves God and understands our purpose for being on Earth...

John UK...

That must be weird seeing a hedgehog as roadkill!

I have never seen a hedgehog, must less a wild pheasant. If I did see either one of those, it would certainly make my day!

Down here on the land we have seen racoons, deer, bobcat, rabbits, armadillos, and of course oppossums...

We all know what true Americans eat...

Benny Hinn has a lot of other extreme theological errors other than his veiw on the prosperity gospel...

Just take a quick look at his YouTube channel filled with "Miracle Crusades", slaying in the spirit, and casting out bad spirits. He has a lot of severely misleading lies, that still categorize him as a wolf in sheep's clothing, even if he changed his veiw on how his business receives money...

So many here gave excuses on why they would NEVER forgive Benny Hynn."

If someone walked up to you and said, "I just robbed the bank, can you forgive me" you wouldn't really have a reason to forgive him, as he didn't do anything against you...

Just so Benny Hinn didn't do anything against anyone here (that I know of) so we can't really do anything in the area of forgiveness...

However, I believe we should always be cautious when people of great wickedness claim to have come to the light. Does that make me unforgiving? No, it just makes me cautious. I don't want to claim people as children of God until Christ has clearly shown His light through their actions and words...

I pray that the Lord has saved his soul, but I certainly won't be naive enough to think a few statements represent a change of heart...

Studying the classics is a very broad statement.

What is considered the classics?

I think we should be very careful when it comes to studying the world's "philosophers". Just because they are the Dawkins, Darwins, and Mark Twain's of the past, doesn't make them any less wicked...

These great literary and
philosophical giants, are very good at tricking the mind by using grand and intelligent writings styles. I personally don't see any use in reading "Romeo and Juliet", or studying Plato's flawed veiw of the innate goodness of man...

They used their amazing skills at writing to create mind worlds where God is not wanted or needed. All of which is so incredibly flawed it makes me not want read them just because of that...

John UK says...
JAG, it is what I call a tongue-in-cheek argument, which means it is not to be taken seriously."

I am not trying to make the point that our churches should look like a Pentecostal/punk rock concert. Your veiw of this Psalm is tainted by the culture you live in. You automatically put cymbals and dancing into the "no go" section because that is considered wild, and disorganized in our society. Every culture has different instruments, and in the Israelite culture, cymbals and dancing was their form of paino, guitar, etc...

But regardless, please look past the instruments and look at the instructions the psalmist is making...

God is pleased by us using instruments to praise Him. He enjoys the sounds of musical skills being used to glorify Him. What better time to please Him than when we are gathered together to worship!...

Many of the Psalms were written for "stringed instruments" in addition to the "choir director" and since the book of Psalms is a book of praise to God, I believe we should follow it's methods in worship...
