Mike wrote: So then you will not be afraid of Chris' question- 54 years of addiction to what? MikeNo, not at all, I know God will work it out for my benefit no matter what happens in my answering the question. He said so as I pointed out at 3/3/14 7:18 AM 54 years of addiction to the drug called cigarettes, 39 years while being saved. My doctor told me cigarettes are more addictive than cocaine. Look at all the money I wasted. If I were to tell you the whole story, you would realize I lost a lot more than money. |

Christopher000 wrote: Dopey, when you continue to be cryptic and indirect, it gives me an uneasy feeling because I feel like your riddles are meant as underhanded, patronizing sarcasism that means to offend I always feel like you are trying to set me up to look like a fool, then pass judgement on on whatever my answer may be to your well planned questions. Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.---Proverbs 27:17John UK, are you in a sharpening mood? A couple of weeks ago I took stock of some things. I noticed that I had four computers, two of which I bought new about a year and a half ago and neither of which I had ever used. I also had one used one I had bought about a year and a half ago and which I had used a couple of times. I also had one about 10 to 11 years old which I used about 99% of the time including all of any time I spent on the internet, thus including SermonAudio. Perhaps I thought I needed one for each hand and each foot Well John if you care to sharpen, I will respond; if anyone else tries it until you have I will ignore him/her. ******** Dopey2, you are a hoot. You really are Dopey2: "Everyone sees you for who you are, except you. Wonder why?" I invite Dolores, JohnYurick, SteveR, and John UK to respond to what you have stated. If one of them responds differently to what you have stated we will know your analytical powers ("Everyone") leave a lot to be desired and you need a serious rest." |

God's word to Dopey wrote: ... 2 Peter 3:16 ......in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. You are a hoot, you really areI am afraid you can't get away from your foolish claim to be God! The heading reads God's word to Dopey and you wrote the heading thus you are in fact stating you are God, but I doubt that you realized that when you wrote it. Liars and people of little knowledge generally haven't got a clue what they are really doing. By the way I suggest you pay attention to what you wrote: 2 Peter 3:16 ......in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. you give evidence of being one of most "unlearned and unstable" ones I have come across at SermonAudio. |

3/3/14 4:33 AM God to Dopey You say you are God, I don't say that I am God. So, you might want to take some of your own advice that you give: Colossians 3:9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds You say you are God, I don't say I am God. I am a sinner saved by Grace through faith. You are clearly lying by saying you are God. Care to explain your claim to be God further? Why should I take advice from a liar. Satan quotes Scripture. You say, passing yourself off as God, : My verdict on you: Acts 8:23 For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity. The problem is you are not God, but a liar, so your "verdict" is the verdict of a liar and is in fact a lie thus totally worthless. |

3/3/14 2:09 AM Lurker Lurker: "I have no choice but to part ways with you and I respectfully ask that you respect my decision by not posting to me." Dopey: Lurker, I have respectfully considered your request in the light of scripture and this is the answer I have received: God: "Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men."--- Acts 5:29 So God: "And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces."---2 Kings 2:11-12 Dopey: Lurker do you notice in 2 Kings 2:11-12 that Elijah got raptured? What do you think Elijah's rapture is witnessing to Lurker? |

3/2/14 7:51 AM Christopher000 Christopher000: "I can tell you first hand that it is as difficult to break away from as any physical addiction." Dopey: Physical addictions certainly can be very hard to "break away from." Take for instance my over 54 years physical addiction." Christopher000: "I think the most damage is caused by..." God: "And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know."--- 1 Corinthians 8:2 Dopey: Chris what to you "think" is best for my over 54 years "physical addiction"? |

Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel. So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll. And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness. And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them. For thou art not sent to a people of a strange speech and of an hard language, but to the house of Israel; Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee. But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted. ---Ezekiel 3:1-7 |

Observer wrote: In the context, Peter screwed up a prophetic announcement did he? Peter sure did Observer Observer, note carefully the two verses that proceed Matthew 16:23: From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.---Matthew 16:21-22 Matthew 16:21 partially sets forth the context for Matthew 16:23 that being Christ's prophetic announcements concerning things that would soon happen to Him in Jerusalem. Peter not understanding, but often eager to speak about things he knows absolutely nothing about, then rebukes Christ in verse 22 thus in effect rebuking Christ's prophetic announcements just delivered. Christ realizing that truth then identifies the source of Peter's silliness with his mouth that being Satan. Satan was using Peter as a mouthpiece for attacking the truth of Christ's prophecy and Christ knew it. Hence the rebuke to Peter, whom Christ loved, but even so Christ really gets upset with believers who screw up His prophetic teachings. |
