justice is hell wrote: There is NONE righteous not even one in the whole of history. What about Abel? There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil (Job 1). There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth. And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless (Luke 1:5,6). Or Cornelius (Acts 10). Scripture is filled with righteous people. There are and always have been exceptions to the rule. These exceptions are the reason why America is not right now a smouldering heap of ash (Gen 18:23). Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God (Matt 5:8). Since we are all born innocent and there is no sin nature, which is a pagan myth, we can all be pure in heart through repentance and faith proven by deeds. |

Great Sermon! Jesus puts the rapture on the last day (John 6). Paul places it at the last trump (1 Cor 15), Revelation puts the resurrection after the tribulation (Rev 20:6), Jesus is coming as a thief after the tribulation (Rev 16:15), the Day of the Lord comes after the sun and moon are darkened (Joel 2:31, Acts 2:20). Paul exhorts the Church to watch for the Day of the Lord (1 Thess 5). 2 Thess 2:1 ties the 2nd Coming and the "gathering" together as the same event after the man of sin is revealed. The word Parousia (coming) is common to both Matt 24 and 1 Thess 4. I could go on and on. The evidence for a post-trib rapture is so overwhelming it defies belief anyone could believe otherwise. But no, apparently there will be 2 resurrections of the dead in Christ, 2 2nd Comings, 2 last days, 2 last trumps, Jesus will be coming as a thief twice, ...
Everything is duplicated for the convenience of sparing the Church the tribulation.
Completely bonkers.
Oh, and nice work guys. |

James is not implying all sins are equal, he is simply pointing out that if you transgress the law you are a transgressor of the law. Fornication is consistently singled out in scripture as very grievous (1 Cor 6:18 etc). According to Romans 1 God's wrath is revealed from heaven against ALL ungodliness, but in particular against homosexual behaviour. Homosexual behaviour is in fact the culmination of his wrath. Thus the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were overthrown with fire and brimstone. You may sympathize the individual suffering unwanted same-sex attraction, but any form of compromise on a broader level is a dangerous and deadly game. As for the Church itself, that is a joke. They pound it into people's brains they are born depraved and are infected with a disease called sin, then have the effrontery to criticize their depraved behaviour. Absurd. Until the Church rejects the gnostic/pagan philosophy of original sin and inherited sin nature and returns to the doctrine according to godliness once delivered unto the saints, they are wasting their time. There is only good and evil, light and dark, there are no grey areas. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous (1 John 3:7). |

John UK wrote: Hee hee. Oh boy. Tell you what, you tell me what a man must do to be saved? Does the penal substitution of the Incarnate God have anything to do with it, when he died on a cross to bear away the wrath of God? Please go to youtube channel: holdingfirmly run by Mike DeSario. He's just released a superb video: Spirit vs the Flesh. You might also try the channel: Refuting Calvinism. And yes the penal model is heresy. It was developed in the 11th century by a Benedictine monk. We are living in a time of unprecedented deception. |

The Bible calls it Mystery Babylon, Mother of harlots and abominations of the earth. And all the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication (Rev 17).But . . . Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire; for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. And . . . Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities (Rev 18). Remember Lot's wife (Luke 17). |
