I challenge anyone to show me the church on earth between chapters 5 and 19. If Israel can be mention, then why cant the church? Unless you believe in replacement theology. And also the Day Of The Lord, in association with a Thief in the night.The thief in the night is always associated the 2d advent, not the rapture. Meeting in the air is totally different, then Christ's return to the earth.

This is all new to me and honestly helps make the whole book of Revelations line up perfectly with the other books of the bible. It makes complete perfect sence. I really could never understood how some would get a "by" before the great tribulation just for being saved. If ur faith is real u'll be ready and waiting for it to come. Kinda like the faith Jesus had in the back of his mind on the way to the cross that's day. Knowing that he was gonna win and defeat death on the 3rd day!!!!

Jesus puts the rapture on the last day (John 6). Paul places it at the last trump (1 Cor 15), Revelation puts the resurrection after the tribulation (Rev 20:6), Jesus is coming as a thief after the tribulation (Rev 16:15), the Day of the Lord comes after the sun and moon are darkened (Joel 2:31, Acts 2:20). Paul exhorts the Church to watch for the Day of the Lord (1 Thess 5). 2 Thess 2:1 ties the 2nd Coming and the "gathering" together as the same event after the man of sin is revealed. The word Parousia (coming) is common to both Matt 24 and 1 Thess 4. I could go on and on. The evidence for a post-trib rapture is so overwhelming it defies belief anyone could believe otherwise. But no, apparently there will be 2 resurrections of the dead in Christ, 2 2nd Comings, 2 last days, 2 last trumps, Jesus will be coming as a thief twice, ... Everything is duplicated for the convenience of sparing the Church the tribulation. Completely bonkers. Oh, and nice work guys.

Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety. (Prov 11:14, ESV) Wonderful discussion. This is something that I can fully agree with you on. I wish more churches would have open discussions like Berean regularly does; and then invite comments. One of the big problems we have today is the few Christians who actually study their Bibles can be kool-aid drinkers of their favorite teachers, doctrines, and denominations, etc and refuse to even consider that, like Apollos, we may need the way of God explained to us more accurately. Alas, it will be unfortunate that, after listening to your podcast most pretribbers will hold steadfast to that modern teaching. Once the tribulation begins in earnest many will echo the fear that gripped the Thessalonians, "We have missed the rapture," and possibly, God forbid, out of ignorance be a part of the great apostasy. be blessed
