Americans are brainwashed from cradle to grave that the state is god. The brain washing is coming from the government controlled school system, the entertainment industry, and let's not forget the state run churches. By the way any "church" that is incorporated into the state and under the 501c3 is a state run church.
Most churches in America have surrendered their sovereignty to the government when they incorporate into the state, and worse yet they go under the jurisdiction of the federal government under the 501c3. Christ said: "render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's and to God that which is God's."
