Did he not ask for all off topic posts to be taken down? Then why's he complaining when his gets taken down?

it looks like the couple thought this more an inducement to "do the right thing" and marry:
I doubt the judge could really have made them get married were it not pretty much that way already.

I believe that the Bible should be used in a form of BLESSING ,and so should marriage.

the blessing of marriage is seeing it as oportunity to model Christ:

Eph. 5:31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 5:32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 5:33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

Bless y'all too.

Madame,

It was the "way" the man solved his dilemma that intrigued me. If I remember correctly, it was a "used" car that barely made it home, and probably was purchased for the price of an airline ticket. Money wasn't the issue. Creative problem-solving kicked-in. That's commendable.

I was at home. A friend called saying, "turn on the t.v., something bad has happened."
My husband had flown out that morning. I reached him in a meeting in Atlanta, told him the news, and persuaded him to discontinue the meeting and head home.

Everything was chaotic, trying to arrange transportation as airplanes were grounded, and rental cars were no longer available. I was making phone calls, and staying connected with him, while he was trying to get from downtown Atlanta to the airport.

Interestingly, three guys who did not know each other, hooked up at the Atlanta airport, and drove home, keeping in touch with their respective families along the way.
A point of amusement, and in keeping with my husband's character, he had left his laptop in the downtown Atlanta office, and had the audacity to ask these two guys with whom he was sharing a ride, to take him back to get it - AND, they did!

It became a personal endeavor to get my husband home, and lessened the impact, temporarily, of what was going on nationally. That day is seared in my memory.

Another interesting story was that a guy with the same company who was in Florida couldn't rent a car, so he bought one, drove it home, and later sold it. Drastic times call for drastic measures.
