I was in Northern Virginia at a Department of the Army 'BOSS' conference. I was fifteen minutes away from the Pentagon, as a car drives. I was scheduled to tour the Pentagon on the next day. I thank God I was not scheduled to tour the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001. When I saw the live news broadcast on the big conference screen...I became infuriated.

I take a short morning walk around my workplace everyday at about 10am. Sept. 11th was much quieter than usual since their were no commercial or civilian aircraft in the air that day--but I DO recall hearing higher-pitched jet engines high overhead and in the distance (probably fighter planes from USAF combat air patrols) but I couldn't see them. Very eerie.

Madame,

It was the "way" the man solved his dilemma that intrigued me. If I remember correctly, it was a "used" car that barely made it home, and probably was purchased for the price of an airline ticket. Money wasn't the issue. Creative problem-solving kicked-in. That's commendable.

I was at home. A friend called saying, "turn on the t.v., something bad has happened."
My husband had flown out that morning. I reached him in a meeting in Atlanta, told him the news, and persuaded him to discontinue the meeting and head home.

Everything was chaotic, trying to arrange transportation as airplanes were grounded, and rental cars were no longer available. I was making phone calls, and staying connected with him, while he was trying to get from downtown Atlanta to the airport.

Interestingly, three guys who did not know each other, hooked up at the Atlanta airport, and drove home, keeping in touch with their respective families along the way.
A point of amusement, and in keeping with my husband's character, he had left his laptop in the downtown Atlanta office, and had the audacity to ask these two guys with whom he was sharing a ride, to take him back to get it - AND, they did!

It became a personal endeavor to get my husband home, and lessened the impact, temporarily, of what was going on nationally. That day is seared in my memory.

Another interesting story was that a guy with the same company who was in Florida couldn't rent a car, so he bought one, drove it home, and later sold it. Drastic times call for drastic measures.

I was living as a missionary dorm parent in Malaysia. It was after 9pm and I was taking my boys(mk's living with us) to the gym to play indoor soccer. As I was leaving the dorm it came on the tv showing a plane had hit a tall building in NY. I didn't find out until an hour later what had really happened, I thought it was a tv show the other kids were watching. Needless to say the next few months living in a Muslim country were a bit worrisome.

I was at home asleep when my Dad called me at about 10:30pm and told me to turn on the news.
The first thing I though was "This sort of thing has been coming for some time."
When I saw the second plane crash into the building I thought "This looks like a Hollywood stunt." I thought this because of a document I read and still posses written by the Joint Chiefs back in 1962 which called for exactly this sort of thing to acquire international sympathy. This document specifically discusses the acceptable loss of American lives for the "plan" to gain international sympathy.
At that time it was Cuba.
Some of those images have etched themselves into my mind of innocent people completely unaware dying needlessly jumping and falling from the buildings.
True images yet planned images.

Having neither heard nor seen any news before going to work that day
I was perplexed by the unusually large number of people standing around
and talking with each other instead of working.

I did overhear someone say "...They're going to track down whoever's
responsible for this...", obliterating my initial guess that some kind
of natural disaster was the cause of all this tumult.

Overcome with curiousity I finally visited the cubicle of a co-worker
who, interestingly enough, collects postcards. She answered my question
simply by pointing to one of these cards containing a photo of the twin
toweres, and said: "You see these two buildings?...well, they're not
there anymore!". She then told me of the terrorist/plane attack which
prompted me to go home at lunch time to see the news and get caught-up.

I am in the Mountain Time Zone working for a Roadside Department for a rental company. Our routine day was turned on its head when renters called to report that airports were closing and they could not turn in their cars. They wanted to know what was going on and what to do.

We made policy up on the fly and were an outlet for the news of the tradegy that was unfolding....as we wtched CNN. I was overwhelmed with customers who were afraid and confused about what was going on...being stranded hundreds of miles away from home. Our company decised to have our department tell renters to just take our cars home. We would waive the unauthorized drop charges...that we wanted them to get home safe.

We struggled to find out cars and get them back. I cost us dearly...and we were bankrupt for quite a while. But because we put the customer first and helped them get home...our customers came back. We gained customers who were abandon by the other companies...and all of this helped us emerge stronger and more competive for two years running.

I woke up and was reading my Bible around 6 or 6:30 in the morning (Pacific). I had just read Psalm 119:126 "It is time for You to act O Lord, for they have regarded Your law as void," and I heard the TV in the living room on very loud and walked out to see my grandma watching the towers being destroyed. Quite eerie. Then I had to go to work...

(From 9/11's list)

Concentration camp latest listings

Disney World Orlando. With special effects and Donald Duck, the latest conspiracy theorists have spotted “Wendy Houses” which could be converted into Nissen Huts, as seen in the movies POW films.

White House Lawn and Garden. There is a Garden Shed which could easily be used for political prisoners (Democrats) incarceration.

HolyWood. Special Effects have constructed a Stalag Camp (ex Hogan’s Heroes) this too could be used as a POW camp after Big Brother captures all the “Normal” people and separates them from the conspiracy theorists whom 9/11 will allow to roam free when he takes over the world.

In 2000, Jones and an assistant infiltrated the annual gathering of the Bohemian Club. In June 2001, Jones launched Prisonplanet.com. On July 25, 2001, Jones predicted that an imminent and large attack was going to be directed against the United States. Jones also predicted that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) might blame the attack on their asset Osama Bin Laden[8]. He urged listeners on his radio show, and viewers on his cable access television program to call the White House switchboard. He said

I want the White House numbers up there now. After you research all the government terrorism, and check out what I'm saying is true, call the White House and tell them 'we know the government is planning terrorism, we know Oklahoma City and the World Trade Center were terrorism , we know the Joint Chiefs of Staff want to blow up airliners, Baltimore Sun. If you do it, we're going to blame you cause we know whose up to it, or if you let some terrorist group do it like the World Trade Center, we know who to blame,' and you could save the planet. I'm calling it "Operation Expose The Government Terrorists".[17]

"We knew then it was a terrorist attack."

True. Our government are true terrorists, in the vein of 1984.

War is peace.

Freedom is slavery.

Woe unto those who call good evil and evil good.

"It was a mercy that there were not even more killed at the time."

Not exactly a mercy. Most were warned not to go to work. They were betting on it on the stock market also before it happened.

Lots of people knew it was going to happen, including of course our beloved President Bush, who was completely deadpan when he was "informed" of the so-called "attack" and just kept on reading the book about goats to the first graders.

Alex Jones knew about it two months beforehand, urged his radio listeners to call the White House and tell them not to attack its own citizens and blame it on Bin Ladin. His listeners did in fact call the White House.

But the government is so arrogant they figure they can do anything they want "in plane sight" -- and people will believe whatever stupid lie they offer as explanation.

I was asleep (happend close on midnight here). We don't have TV, newspapers or other forms of mass media but I heard about it the next day from people at work then read some reports on the internet at work. So sad for all those people, what a cowardly attack. It was a mercy that there were not even more killed at the time.
