However, the way things are going, will the Sodomites pressure the government to hoist a flag over the WH to represent their degrading and disgustiing "victory?" What would God have done if Abraham continued praying? Did he stop because he looked at man's undoing? Or, did he give STRENGTH to the Lord because his expectation of the Lord was that He would honor and give glory to His own name.
We give STRENGTH to his name when we proclaim his marvelous works done for the children of man. Too often what we behold brings despair and causes us to lose hope.
Heavenly Father, glorify Your name. You are worthy to receive glory, honor, power, praise. You alone are to be worshiped. Cause us to set the Lord before our faces, so that we will not be moved. When we speak of You and Your works, an atmosphere of hope is created and You respond.
