Speaking of atheists. How many here believe that old lady O'Hair did not repent and embrace Christ as her Savior before she was murdered? Her son William J. Murray stated that there is a possibility that his mother repented and received Christ as her Savior before she was murdered. Nobody will know until we get to Heaven.

What the Popish (cult leader) Church is upset about isn't that there are cult members in Italy, they're upset not all cult members are loyal Roman Catholic Church (cult) members.
You really are totally off of your rocker to believe that the RCC is a Cult. The definition of a Cult is a religious organization that denies the Deity Of Christ and the Holy Trinity. Well guess what? The RCC has never denied the Deity Of Christ and the Holy Trinity and thus the RCC is not a Cult. My Non Denominational brother does not believe that the RCC is a Cult.

All the Ten Commandments are still binding on Christians except the one dealing with the Sabbath. Ever since Christ was Resurrected on Sunday and Pentecost took place on Sunday the weekly worship day has been Sunday.

AntiVaticanistAmerican,

You really are totally off of your rocker for having so much hatred in your heart for the RCC. You could take a lesson from my brother's Non Denominational minister who does not state anything against the RCC because he knows that the RCC also acknowledges the Deity Of Christ and the Holy Trinity and thus the RCC is just as much a True Church as my brother's Non Denominational Church is. Start acting more Christlike.

Well good for Guiliani for not caring one iota for that stupid Catholic rule about divorced and remarried Catholics are not supposed to receive Holy Communion.

On the street(Which is a dead end street and thus only a half a block) that I grew up on and where I still reside in my late parents house(that I will be buying out my brother's half and thus I will become the owner) there were no divorced families when I was growing up in the 1960's and 1970's. I was born in 1962.

Jesuit John;
What you've got to realise JY is that all cults are the same. The papists worship dead people they promote to "saint." The papists worship a different Christ by demoting Him from God Incarnate, to several graven images, relics and iconolatry, where He is expected to compete for the papists attention and worship.
BTW He will NOT compete with any cults idols.
The RCC may use Biblical terminology but like the other cults and liberals they fabricate their own graven images of God.
The Reformed Church did correct this in God's Reformation, but sadly many poor blind seekers are ignorant of the Truth and still worship man made idols, even stringing them round their neck on little crucifixes.
JY, Note the group that paul puts the IDOLATERS into
1Cor 6:9 "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor IDOLATERS, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind"
Come out from among them John and come to Christ.
Knock it off with this insanity that I am a Jesuit. I am not a Jesuit. I am not even a priest. I would never want to be a priest because priests can not get married.

After reading the article that SermonAudio has given us to look at, you also might want to read ]] “We're Christians just like you!”, and other religious organizations in this category, ]]Roman Catholics, Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses.
What is wrong with you anyway? Are you totally lacking comprehension abilities? There is no similarity between the Roman Catholic Church and the Mormon and Jehovah Witness Cults. The Catholic Church affirms and has always affirmed the Deity Of Christ and the Holy Trinity whereas the Mormon and Jehovah Witness Cults deny the Deity Of Christ and the Holy Trinity. And that is why the Catholic Church is not considered to be a Cult and Mormonism and Jehovah Witness are considered to be Cults by everybody who has a functioning brain. And that is something that you and your insane minister are totally lacking if you guys can not comprehend that the doctrines of the Deity Of Christ and the Holy Trinity are what distinguish True Churches from Cults.

Unfortunately I fear Obama will be President, once he unites with Hillary Clinton as his running mate. They are running separate just for now to gain there own percentages, then they will unite and win.
What is wrong with you anyway? Are you totally lacking comprehension abilities? Obama belongs to the United Church Of Christ and does not belong to any Mosque and thus Obama is not Muslim but is United Church Of Christ.

John Y., yes, a person can be saved if he isn't baptized, but refusing to be baptized, would be indication that person isn't saved. but your uncle's minister was very wrong in not pointing that out.

But then, John, anyone who insists in staying in a cult gives fruits of not being a Christian.
Lance, ]]The Five Solas, were statements of the Reformation, but were in the Bible long before there was a Reformation.

You are contradicting yourself. First you state that someone who is not Baptized can be saved. But then you state that if someone refuses to get Baptized again as an adult would indicate that they are not saved. My late uncle's Baptist minister obviously believes that it should be left up to individuals whether they get Baptized again after having been validly Baptized as an infant. Infant Bapstim is valid because it is done in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit which is the formula that Christ gave for Baptism when He stated "Go therefore into all the world Baptizing in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit".

Say that a man and a woman who are residing in the same domicile are utilizing separate sleeping quarters? They are not engaging in fornication and thus they are morally above reproach and are not doing anything morally wrong. Right?

John, to claim to be Christ is a very serioius sin. I don't claim this, but I do have a word of testimony in the Bible and I believe what it says. Since popes are false teachers, it is best not to be in subjection to them even if we hope that on their deathbed they repented of the lies they have spread to millions of people.
Will you please respond to the question about old lady O'Hair? Do you believe that old lady O'Hair being an atheist and thus a false teacher did not repent and receive Christ as Savior before she was murdered? William J. Murray the son of old lady O'Hair did not state flat out that his mother did not repent and receive Christ as Savior before she was murdered because Murray knows that only Christ knows who has and has not received Him as their Savior. And since I do not pay attention to anything that the Pope states then I am not under subjection to the Pope.

Oh yes there is...Acts 2. The Lord added to the church such as should be saved. What church? The Roman Catholic? No. More likely the church of the Gospel...the evangel...thus the evangelical church, built on the Apostles and Prophets...i.e. Scripture alone, by faith alone..believe on the Lord Jesus and you will be saved. Salvation is of the Lord, not man, and the true church confesses the same, but the Roman Catholic cannot admit this. Calling Paisely names is unbiblical also. That should also be dispensed along with the unscriptural Catholic doctrines.
Paisely gets my support. So does Jim...Good points, Jim
Smorgasbord is a no no...Purify your hearts you doubleminded..james 4:8
When Nicodemus asked Christ what must be done to inherit eternal life or to be saved Christ stated "Ye must be Born Again". Christ did not state anything about belonging to any church in order to gain entrance into Heaven. And thus church membership is totally superfluous to salvation and gaining entrance into Heaven.

You are entitled to your opinion John. However, since I know no other news about the pope recanting false teaching, I am obliged to hold to the confession of the Apostles concerning false teachers. Praying to Christ does not guarantee giving up false doctrine. Catholics pray to Christ often asking forgiveness yet cherish their church's heresies. I wouldn't give up all hope for the Roman Church nor the Eastern Orthodox. I know there are those who desire reformation in these churches. Simply desiring isn't enough. They must act, protest, confess, cease from participating in the unbiblical rituals, etc.
I suppose you also think that atheist old lady O'hair did not receive Christ as Savior before she was murdered since there was no news account of that taking place? William J. Murray the son of atheist old lady O'hair did not state that he knows for certain that his mother did not repent and receive Christ as Savior before she was murdered because he knows that Christ is the only one who knows who has and has not received Christ as Savior. But you seem to have the ability to see into the hearts of mankind to tell who has and has not received Christ as their Savior and thus you are claiming to be Christ.

So if the RCC tortured and put people to death in the Inquisition in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit would that then therefore be valid "Inquisition"?
As to your uncle something seems amiss here as his "conversion" apparently wasn't sufficient to make him realize how wrong infant sprinkling in the RCC is or he would have joyously renounced his and been immersed as a believer. And something is apparently hugely wrong with his minister if he didn't have the guts to tell your uncle to his face that he might be free to visit but not join if he refused believer's baptism.
The inquisition was wrong and thus even if it had been done in the manner that you stated it would have still been wrong. Are you stating that my late uncle is in Hell just because he refused to get Baptized again in the Baptist Church? That Baptist Church(King Memorial Baptist Church of Waxhaw, NC is a Union Baptist Association Baptist Church) does not require for membership that everybody be Baptized because they know that Baptism is totally superfluous to salvation and gaining entrance into Heaven. They allow individuals who were Baptized as infants to not get Baptized again if they do not want to get Baptized again.

You've got it wrong RC baptism (sacrament ) not being believer's baptism is not valid baptism.
That is why many former never to be again Roman Catholics whom have repented of the false teaching of the RCC and who come to Jesus Christ and salvation by faith in Him follow Him in believer's baptism or what is upsettingly called by some rebaptism.
Infant Baptism is a valid Baptism because it is done in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit which is the formula that Christ gave for Baptism. When my late uncle(Mother's oldest brother) converted from the RCC to the Baptist Church he chose not to get Baptized again because he believed like I do that his Baptism as an infant in the RCC was valid because it was done in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. And he told his Baptist minister that and the minister agreed that Baptism in the RCC is valid because it is done in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

John, it is to be done because it is said to be done in the scriptures. As for Roman Catholics and Eastern Orthodox, these are the places of false doctrine and traditions equal to or above scripture. Mainline Protestants are a little harder to pin down, because not all mainline congregations are in error and there are individuals in there who are scripturally saved.
But it is not required for gaining entrance into Heaven that one wear headcoverings and leave the Catholic Church, Eastern Orthodox Church and Mainline Protestant Churches and join a Fundamentalist Protestant Church. Nowhere in the Bible is the wearing of headcoverings and church membership equated with salvation and gaining entrance into Heaven. And there are saved individuals in the Roman Catholic Church and Eastern Orthodox Church as well as in Mainline Protestant Churches. That is a fact.

Yes, John, I have heard of deathbed conversions. But how does this change my opinion? The pope was a false teacher as defined by the apostles and he never recanted to the best of our knowledge. Therefore, all I know is he is to be assigned the same place with other false teachers as the Apostles state.
You can not possibly know for certain that on his deathbed that John Paul II did not pray silently to Christ to receive Him as Savior. Like I stated old lady O'Hair was an atheist and thus a false teacher and yet her son William J. Murray did not think like you and state that his mother did not convert to Christ before she was murdered. Murray stated that his mother could have converted to Christ before she was murdered. Nobody but Christ knows who has and has not received Him as their Savior because Christ is the only one who can see into the heart of mankind.

I usually do not agree with anything that Pastry is up to but I this time I am agreeing with what Pastry has in mind. I think that it is good to get Catholics to receive Christ as their Savior. However I am disagreeing with Pastry that the Catholics who get saved have to leave the Catholic Church and join a Fundamentalist Protestant Church. It is not necessary for gaining entrance into Heaven that a Catholic who receives Christ as their Savior leave the Catholic Church and join a Fundamentalist Protestant Church because nowhere in the Bible is church membership equated with gaining entrance into Heaven. The only requirement the Bible gives for gaining entrance into Heaven is to become Born Again by receiving Christ as ones Savior. When a Catholic receives Christ as their Savior they can maintain a personal relationship with Christ as long as they dispense with the unscriptural Catholic doctrines, adhere only to the scriptural Catholic doctrines, dispense with and do not participate in the unscriptural parts to the Mass and only participate in the scriptural parts to the Mass.

Actually John, it is necessary because it says to do it. Just because it isn't necessary to salvation doesn't mean you have the right to disregard it.
And what happens if someone who is Born Again does not wear head coverings while praying? Will they not gain entrance into Heaven? And what happens if someone who is Born Again does not leave the Catholic Church, Eastern Orthodox Church and Mainline Protestant Churches and does not join a Fundamentalist Protestant Church? Will they not gain entrance into Heaven? If you answer yes that they will not gain entrance into Heaven because they did not wear head coverings and did not leave the Catholic Church, Eastern Orthodox Church and Mainline Protestant Churches and did not join a Fundamentalist Protestant Churches then you are stating that there is more then one requirement for gaining entrance into Heaven besides receiving Christ as ones Savior.
