Inwardly, sure. Outwardly, who is the righteous judge, and who bears the Christian culture? show me one that is properly built upon the Early Church doctrine. If its not by the order of what is written in Scripture, its because there's no light in the body assembled, and the ship is bound to be wrecked inwardly and outwardly.

we have totaly lost the plot I dont blame multiculturalism per se for this because we had already apostasised but it didnt help - its our fault !
the nation is ripe and set up for a fall
Apostle Paul said for Timotheus to war a good warfare by the prophecy gone over him, which was by the Holy Ghost and Word of God. Though, I too would bemoan the fact that the same seems to be lacking among men nowadays.

Sounds like carnal murmuring on your part, broski. After all, what man hates his own flesh that he does not seek to nourish and cherish it? or, who does not have the knowledge of God, that it is not to our shame? I suppose the best conditions to preach the gospel in every nation is through the spirit thereof: not to curse as we go, mind you.

Before the Lord I am fully persuaded in my own mind to esteem every day alike, and do not reguard one day to be greater or lesser than another. As for the assembling of ourselves, I perceive that men exclude one another primarily upon the basis that they be not zealously affected by a confessed brother in Jesus Christ according to the word of God.

2Kings 7:1
"Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria. (2) Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof."

Well, hopefully some of us will have the posterity enough to eat of the LORD's harvest, rather than see it go to the fire.

Luke 13:6
"A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. (7) Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? (8) And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: (9) And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down."

One must be pure and clean to go to the high place of the mountain of innumerable saints. Jesus Christ the Lord warned us to let no man take our crown (of eternal life), yet, the blood of these men is somehow acceptable to be offered up? what is it to incur blood guilt, but to let others antagonize to sin? God forbid. In the dead branches of the military's mind, there is nothing better to do. You should rather straightly warn them, that in the latter end their dedications and offerings will be consumed by the Antichrist, and for the overspreading of abominations he will make it desolate.

Those soldiers should take heed that their own bars, gates, and walls do not begin to testify against them. Operation cast lead can turn to operation serious hernia suddenly. I have heard it said that these military operations are in "self defence". Yes, to be safe is precisely the reason to convert the battlements into farm tools.

Isaiah 24:21 "...the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth. (22) And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit...."

Isaiah 34:2 "For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter."

So while the care of not beating of one stripe too many upon the guilty, lest thy brother thinks you vile, is cast off, but thy brother is offered up: bear witness to the evil. This is what they do to them that are delivered to their hand. While they use exagerated and forceful words to justify their acts, they do the dirty work for the true-south pole of the axis of evil-death.

I hope those Christians are of the same mind and spirit as "may it not be laid to their charge, O Lord". How could they control it, without the King of the Jews, Jesus, actively doing it? Have you not read "they build in vain" or "they watch in vain"? To be likeminded as possible, comparing the greatest times of Hebrew dominion with the lords of the Philistines who ruled at various times: we should acknowledge what rightfully pertains to them (as they identify themselves Palestinian). We can see historically, they are capable of paying tribute one to another in peace. The Scripture says Israel is not in the power of men but God, and is not a democracy, but a kingdom. "Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the KINGDOM to Israel?..It is NOT for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his OWN power."

To the poster likening the nation (or people that God created) to a biting dog: that is a simplistic and unequal parable. A man is allowed to kick a dog that understands not, or convey himself away to be safe. But to kick a people? Nay, the Gaza Strip has long been cast into the dungeon, and none fetch them out, neither have they been spared from humanitarian crisis, but Israel-not-inwardly seeks occasion to bring the wheel over them: far from preaching the Gospel, and far from breaking up fallow grounds.

As Christ died for the sins of the world, and commanded to go in to every nation and preach the gospel, yet this hypocritical generation impails the Son of God afresh in forbidding the patience and conditions for him to be preached, and requiring the sacrifices of war which the LORD commanded not. You encourage to build a temple without the peace-time of Solomon, or the righteousness of Ezra, or the doctrine of Christ.

If you give your voice for the oppressive and violent treatment of the people in Gaza Strip, ye are witnesses against yourselves, that the preaching to your own fathers, who were at any given time without Christ, was in vain.

Surely none other stone is as burdensome than Jerusalem, for them who have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak.

Jim, why have you not joined us in crying in the Lord's ears for him to reign in such violence? The carnal bigotry is written all over the forehead: do you hate the Palestinians, or the Gazans, that you wish them to be delivered up? SURE LOOKS LIKE IT. I would seek to clear myself quickly, if you accused me that I had something against ANY people, that I would encourage them to sin against Christ.

As for me, I'm looking for a church that not only preaches the tithe but also the Sabbatical Year, so they will give me one year off from work (with pay, of course) if I tithe. And also the Year of Jubilee, so they will pay off any mortgages on lands I live on.
Amen. I am not sure what the tithe has to do with conditions: surely you are not suggesting that the LORD's release is underpinned with the wealth of men, and/or only afforded to them who have been paying into a church?

To me, as one aspiring to be a Christian Levite, every day is alike, and I vote daily with that epistle of commendation which is my own heart. As such, not because of resistance, I do not agree with our political system, which frames and tailors the outfit of the presidency in ways so uncertain, even as riches and wealth are also uncertain.

The hearts of all men are in the hands of the LORD, and my desire is to see the hearts of the children tunred to their fathers, and the hearts of the fathers to their children. For that, we know that if any man take up the Scriptures, and obey the same model, all things can be certainly made new, and the redemption and the ransome will bud forth.

There's many things to say about these things, and every man ought to know clearly what the mind of Christ is about the matter, let alone to have the ability to give a concise sermon about discipline: but who is disposed? Worldly entanglements, binding conditions, our modern challenges, all show there's much to overcome.

Let me throw this in however. What is it to be detained before the LORD? as Doeg the Edomite was said to be, who was Saul's chief herdman. Is it not for one to have or to take leave from one's everyday responsibilities? a necessary thing to untangle oneself from worldly affairs. Hopefully not to the ends that wicked Saul and Doeg took it to, thinking the first day of David's absence, "Where's David, surely he is unclean": but the second day the gig was up!

I have many things to say in response to your words, SwordandTrowel, but I thought to hold my peace because it will not always be evident: whether men subject themselves to our Master Jesus Christ as diligent students of the Word, or if they be seeking to serve their own turn, all things come alike to all, and men can read for themselves, and judge in themselves whether they need to say anything for themselves or for others.

As for these unredeemed terrorists (Gentiles) you stay upon for all reasons: must they bring a burnt offering of sweet-smelling savory to your feet, or what manner of sentence are your desirous to minister? mind you, we cannot be FOR the sword or the prison without being worthy of it ourselves, in the sight of God.

Romans 15:15 "Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God, (16) That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost."

Ichabod seems appropriate amongst the betrayed people
Let's see. Ichabod was born at the same time that the glory of all Israel departed, and his mother died while bringing him forth: an all and out curse, case closed. Contrasting that with Jonah, the whole ship of unwitting sailors was put in danger because one man among them contradicted the LORD, who was to be instrumental in the recovery of an entire nation. Now, praise the Lord for at any time that I may see my own inaccuracies, but surely the man Paisley is not far off from being right at every point I have been a witness to, and for that, Jesus Christ might well make up of the difference.

Whether Ian Paisley is anywhere near as righteous as Jonah (who fled from the LORD, and resisted him more than once), I am not sure, but, Nineveh, with all their issues, repented at the preaching of this chosen man: and many did not repent at the miracles and preaching of Jesus Christ. No wonder therefore. It is my desire that all men hold their peace before the LORD, for we all have sinned against him. As it is, the word has fortold us all things, and we shall not change the determinate counsel of the LORD.
The altars are multiplied, the Churches are scattered and rendered as ineffectual as the heathen who seek their worldly things. "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves" extends to every Christian: but every man goes on doing what is right in his own sight, despite the fact that the LORD has indicated, and has sent messengers declaring the time is at hand, giving us dreams, and testimony to keep. Building more, working more, eating, drinking, marrying: though it be written of old, they will not hearken; though one be raised from the dead, they will not hear the trumpet, that wrath may come upon the multitudes (and so the end draweth near).

Rev. Ian Paisley said ".....so that the calamity will not come on OUR CHILDREN and the babes in the cots."......It is true what Paisley has called for in these perilous times. Not only for the generaton now but for OUR CHILDREN and our childrens children.
The problem is a matter of faith. Let's take the examples gone before, and LOOK through the bifocals (66) of the Holy Bible, and that RIGHT NOW FOR OUR BRETHREN.
Jesus taught "Wisdom is justified of her CHILDREN" as he rebuked the hypocrites (many today) for holding FAULTY wisdom and doctrines. Holding that word in the front of this PARABLE, condsider how Nehemiah compelled the brethren who had taken STRANGE wives and children while in Babylon, to turn to the LORD, and to send them away. The FAITH demonstrated in this parable, when we repent faulty wisdom, results in accurate service to the LORD, and much better for all that way: similar to when Abraham sent Hagar and Ishmael away, who were ACTUALLY BLESSED to become a GREAT nation, though they had to without Abraham. Strange children will learn as we do need God to save our neighbors, if national repentance is to be worked out. Many false docrines among us need be cast out before we return to Jerusalem to build the temple.
