Ah yes, but that is a constraint placed by God, unlike constraints placed by men.

The Bible tells us of Paul's tentmaking skills, should we berate him for doing this??
don't forget, he could also do this:

Judges 9:8
"The trees went forth on a time to anoint a king over them; and they said unto the olive tree, Reign thou over us. (9) But the olive tree said unto them, Should I leave my fatness, wherewith by me they honour God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees? (10) And the trees said to the fig tree, Come thou, and reign over us. (11) But the fig tree said unto them, Should I forsake my sweetness, and my good fruit, and go to be promoted over the trees? (12) Then said the trees unto the vine, Come thou, and reign over us. (13) And the vine said unto them, Should I leave my wine, which cheereth God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?"

We could get the ten strongest men in any given city, but, without wisdom they are only thorns and thistles to be rejected.......

Calvin had the right idea. Revelation was the one book of the Bible he didn't try to write a commentary on.
Well then, that makes me like a bramble bush among these cedars of Lebanon........

I suppose that, with the passing of the years, he's recognized his error, and that all the bible quotes in support of that error have been nothing but wishful thinking and misinterpretations.
Does Joe Ratzinger think the papacy is mearly part of a tetrarchy? at the table of the Holy Covenant, a horn among equals, a corner found to be proceeding from the Oracles of God through Jesus Christ our Lord? We know that you have conducted masses in the name of Benedict the XVI, and will produce out of Gog-Magog that final dominion: we know that will not happen until God puts it in the heart of the ten kings to bring down Mystery Babylon. Until then, the harlot rules over them.

At this advanced point in the affairs of men, one might think to interpret the governmental intervention taking place in the mark-ets to be introduction of dominion over the right to buy and sell. This should be obvious to those who plan to abide their original habitation in the Lord Jesus Christ, afterall, it seems as though the natural infrastructure has been taking form for some time now.

How can any time of tranquility to be prolonged, both while tribulation is so great for a great many, and while our rulers and priests bear rule by their means contrary to the answer of peace given from Scripture. The people are taxed heart mind body spirit and store, and must tend to the added chore of paperwork as if it is not fit to pay the tax and get on with it! FOOLS forget the virtue tied to the elements of the widow's mite. The wage of the hired person is bound up for weeks at a time, casting out the commandment to give the wages before the sun goes down: now they must abide and serve the speakers of leasing.
Isa 30:22"Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt say unto it, Get thee hence."
Jer 37:9 "Thus saith the LORD; Deceive not yourselves, saying, The Chaldeans shall surely depart from us: for they shall not depart. (10) For though ye had smitten the whole army of the Chaldeans that fight against you, and there remained but wounded men among them, yet should they rise up every man in his tent, and burn this city with fire."

Let us say to the Prophets "sit thou up here in a good place", that we may hear them, and let us watch every man who has until now taken the good place begin take a lower station. For example, the Prophet Isaiah:

(58:6) "Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to UNDO the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break EVERY YOKE? (7) Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?...(9) IF thou take AWAY from the midst of thee the YOKE, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity; (10) And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noon day: (11) And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought"

Too bad we didn't hearken to the word of the LORD from the beginning: then would their be no loss, nor any prospect of other nations ruling over us. Now much damage is in our wake, and the residue is fouled....

Acts 27:21 "Sirs, ye should have HEARKENED unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss."

this reminds me of the hasty foreclosures.....

Isaiah 24:10 "every house is shut up, that no man may come in."

What is the chaff to the wheat? I pray the brothers hold forth the word of life, and let the people get used to seeing the Holy Bible, like the field and oxen need to be accustomed to the plow. Do they not know what our Scriptures mention (in the book of Esther) about India, how there was once a ruler Ahasuerus, so prudent as to order the whole realm reaching from Ethiopia to India, though a Gentile yet he was this righteous, that he held a feast for all the people for all of seven days: we could all take a lesson! The people were wise enough to even put into practise:

Esther 1:22
"For he sent letters into all the king's provinces, into every province according to the writing thereof, and to every people after their language, that every man should bear rule in his own house, and that it should be published according to the language of every people."

If we recieve the admonition of Nehemiah (chapter 5), we do well; he both commanded them of ability, and cursed them, by the name of the LORD to redeem their brethren who were at the service of the heathen: if they did it not according to their ability God would empty them, and shake them from his lap.

Considering the present distress of high levels of pearl-devouring swine, and other not men but beast-like behaviours, I wait on the Lord for the day it is made good for all the lowly and burdened people, or just assoone miserably destroy all things from the earth.

All men of any necessary profession who do their share to prop up their side of the Tent (so to speak) should have plentiful compensation for the sacrifice of their labours. Yet, in this unjust world, all I see is the coveting of every man's fair share, including the oil resources. I call to mind Jeremiah's lamentation "We have drunken OUR water for money; OUR wood is sold unto us", the Psalmist's claim "I restored to them that which I took not", and the Apostle's word "Behold, the HIRE of the laborers who have reaped down your feilds, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth": and what Isaiah said of them "the spoil of the poor is in your houses."

Many years have the wicked spoiled the inheritance of the righteous, running wild with that which does not belong unto them, polluting the residue with their feet while pursuing.

I heard a while back that roughly $150,000 of debt per person in the U.S. has been stricken by the government and businesses: and showing for it, the Devil has nearly perfected all iniquity.

May the God of heaven, and his Son Jesus at his right hand, bind the strong ones armed, and scatter their goods.

I hope that your stance on Israel in prophecy does not substantiate in the form gates, walls, nuclear weapons, and battlements that are not the LORD's! for that is big folly! As for any diminishing of hell, it is the Lord who holds up or casts down, whether greater damnation or lesser; few stripes, or many.
Michael wrote:

This is true in Christians not backslidden, as we keep Christ's commandments, so are we under the bond of the brotherly covenant, and cannot possibly become an impeedence to peace, saying IF IT IS POSSIBLE, we dwell peaceably with all men: whereas vengeance belongs to the LORD in all cases proven to be impossible.

Well! I suppose it is good in that the Catholic Church is not the Whore of Babylon, to be certain. After that, though, speaking of judgement, I am holding in reserve to not judge before the time: but that could be at any time for all I know. It is that time for a great many who are perishing in these earthquakes and such.

Hagee has now apologized to the Roman Catholic Church:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080513/ap_on_el_pr/hagee_letter;_ylt=AqbZE45FcEX.YDfCx1DjuMCs0NUE

To the men and brethren in the Lord, we should not play the harlot by letting men to be ignorant of the antichristian papacy, when it is in our power to inform, even if in a mystery.

John Hagee suited himself in declaring that the Catholic Church was somehow the Whore of Babylon: now they say case closed, don't mention it, no problem.

Luke 16:9
"And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations."

The word of Jesus Christ here is rebuking the hypocrites who refuse to come out of the harlot form of practice: yet still, praise to the name of the Son of God when brothers do convert, and actually fully come out of it.

Which will it be?
