I've got news for this Huckabee character. If he doesn't believe in law, he doesn't believe in sin. And if we're not sinners and we don't sin, what do we need grace for? I'm sick of people like this. Sick.

Jim, who brought those children to Jesus' lap and bosom? That's right - their parents. Parents are responsible for the spiritual nurturing of their own children. As the church, we need to be evangelizing and discipling families - not focusing on the children primarily as so many churches do.
And I would never judge you personally - I'm sure you have a wonderful Christian family who you're caring for well in Christ.
I am no fan of VBS. VBS promotes the practice of lazy pagan parents sending their kids off to get religion from a babysitter while they themselves can stay home and do whatever they want, not having to go to church themselves. Oh, we're not religious, but we want our kids to grow up to be 'good people', so we need to send them somewhere, especially during the summer when school's out and they're bugging us to death. And as for Christians, parents are responsible for their children's education - not the church! The church is a ministry of grace, not the education of children. VBS also promotes family segregation - a totally unbiblical practice.
