Yeah it's another poll used to show that Americans support equal rights under the law for everyone. This is not a bad thing and really does not show support for the homo death style, in fact seeing such large numbers who oppose equal treatment should cause more concern. Yes, homosexuality is a sin, God calls it an abomination, and our schools do misuse the 'tolerance' doctrine to spread the agenda, but at the end of the day homosexuals are sinners just like we were/are, and deserve to be treated fairly under the law. NO SPECIAL TREATMENT, just equal treatment. One brought up that the sodomites should be stoned to death, true under old testament law, but remember we are not under that penalty any longer. As for Roggio, my two-cents says keep reading the Bible and keep praying. If you are sinful and ask for forgiveness, God is quick to forgive, and He'll keep on forgiving as long as your heart is repentant. One day you can even beat this temptation with God's grace or it may be that thorn in your side that is never removed, unfortunately. The fact is in either case as long as you call sin what it is and seek the Lord, he has more than enough grace and forgiveness for you. Many of the Homosexual's problems are caused by wanting acceptance rather than forgiveness; |

I always throw this in on these discussions. In my view the greatest sin in America is the up and running abortion mills. This is legalized killing, call it sacrifice to the god of Mamon ultimitely, completely sanctioned by our government. As a nation we have so much innocent blood on our hands that the whole 'gay rights' thing seems pale by comparison, and yet it all fits in:cheapening life: 1. Abortion-killing a complete innocent 2. Euthanasia-killng often innocent, usually helpless/terminal-often pain relieving meds illegal for use (rather kill them or let them suffer than to smoke a joint once in a while) 3. suicide-taking one's own life. 4.murder-taking another's life. 5.Homosexual life style-stopping procreation, promotes disease, 6.Evolution- stating that life is nothing but an accident so all of the above is perfectly acceptable behavior. I'm sure there are even more parts to the equation but it all adds up to life being cheap/meaningless/temporary, so do whatever you want while you can. Too many in our nation have accepted it, and yes one day, pay day is coming. |

If I didn't know any better I would think all Jesus did was hang out in correctional facilities before parole time and court houses before verdict/sentencing time because that's where most people seem to find him. I won't question Vick's conversion, that's between him and God, but if the other celebs are any indicator, then Vick better really start reading the Bible if he wants to truly leave the decadant "thug" life behind. Here's an observance, why would anyone who makes 22million dollars a year plus endorsements throw it all away for a penny ante dog fighting ring. To a guy like Vick the kind of money the fights brought in was a drop in the bucket, even if he did have a stable of cronies/leeches to support. The answer, like Solomon, happiness is not found in an abundance of things. All this world's goods are nothing but vanity. Final thought, Vick is very young. There is still a good chance that he can turn his life around. This is NOT to make an excuse for him, but I'm 33 and I would have no clue what to do with a fortune like his...and I am a Christian. A young, worldly fellow gets that kind of cash and lackeys who never tell him no and trouble is sure to follow. He may turn it around and come out of this a good Christian role-model. We never know what good God will do |
