It is a good idea to teach everyone in America about communism as soon as possible because as soon as Clinton or Obama get in to office, communism will become our new system of government.

You must be a liberal or a cultist. You have to believe that Jesus is not a created being or his sacrifice means nothing. The entire salvation plan is based on Christ before the foundations of the earth. If you choose not to belive in Christ then you are lost. You must believe everything that is in the Apostle's Creed if you want to call yourself a Christian. The Apostle's creed is a summary of what the Christian faith is all about regardless of denomanation. If you want to go to Hell then becoming a Christian is indeed not right for you, but if you want to go to Heaven then you better get serious and choose Christ.

So now days which is potentially a more damaging endorsement for McCain, Hagee's or Bush's?

We may not compelled to say the apostle's creed and it may well be Apostolic in name only, but the principles contained inside of it are the building blocks that all true Christians should agree on. Catholics have all sorts of cooky stuff going on, but they agree with the creed. Baptists will tell you that it is wrong to have "mixed swimming" or dancing, usually with a beer in hand. My point is that we should agree that: Christ was born of a virgin, Christ was not created but comes from God Himself from the begining along with the Holy Spirit, etc. Tradition is okay as long as it doesn't end up like the Catholic tradition of putting the Pope's word over the Bible or holding Mary as equal with the Godhead and being worthy of worship. Many things that we do are not ordered by God or the scripture, they are not all bad, it is up to the idividual to be dicerning and decide which traditions are valuable and which are silly.

I agree and disagree with every preacher and denomenation at some point...that's why I am a non-denomenational Christian. I believe in the apostle's creed and every Christian should belive that Catholic, Protestant or other. If one believes the creed and actually has accepted Christ as their saviour, then in my book it's all good. We may be in error on minor details, but we're heaven bound and in the book of Life and in the end that is all that will matter. I think a lot of Catholics and 'crazy' protestant denominations are going to be in Heaven with us and realize how much silly extra stuff they did. Man made traditions taking the place of what God said to do. A lot of times man made traditions that folks are judged by when God had no vested interest in how we handled the issue. Sometimes we make things hard on ourselves. I agree with a lot of what Hagee has to say, not all of it. McCain isn't exactly a flip-flopper about accepting the endorsement, he is just clarifing that there are differences here and there. I do wish that our president would stick to his guns though, if you are a Christian and get called a Homophobe, accept it, show the scripture and tell why the lifestyle is wrong. If you know the history of the Catholic church, warts and all, say it loud! Don't back down!

You can say what you will about Dubya, and you will, but one thing that can not be denied is that for as long as he has been in office he has kept marriage traditional. He tried to get CONgress to pass the amendment, but we see how that went. A lot of you are on the fringes with these GREAT CONspiracy theories and whatnot; I can't really buy in to that. I think Dubya was a flawed, but generally good man who never got the support that he deserved. The people of Iraq didn't deserve to live in fear under Sadam-without our 'worthless' war Sadam would still be there today. Sure his administration has made countless mistakes, but look at the conservative judges he appointed for our supreme court. Look at some of the zoning changes that got rid of a lot of planned parenthood death camps. Wait and see what happens when Obama or Hilary get in. You can count on some sort of homo-civil union getting passed, liberal judges heading to the Supreme Court, and the abortion mills to move forward unempeded. I do think there is a lesser of two evils here and it certainly ain't comin' out of the Dems camp.

Well, American kids would probably choose Sponge Bob or something. It's been said here before that now days kids are not exposed to Jesus and the gospel the way they were in the old days. A quick break down of why:

1. Women's Lib- women get to work now just like men at the expense of being good mothers to their kids. On this same level it now takes two incomes to provide what the man's single income used to provide. You can throw the income tax in here too if you like.

2.Removal of God from regular school- there is no real teaching of God's word in school and all kids are compelled to attend. If the parents can't afford Christian school or Home schooling the kids will be here.

3. Lesiure time/technology- I'm guilty. I don't have kids yet, but it is easier to turn on the TV or play a videogame during one's downtime than it is to read. Plus, since we all work so much harder during the week it is far more tempting to sleep in than to go to church.

Basically that means kids don't learn about Jesus from parents, school, or through church attendance, so where else can they learn?

The writing has been on the wall for a while now. At least Huckabee did win in my state. Here is my prediction now...barring some great scandal we will have a democratic president elected this year. McCain is a good guy, but he is too old, or at least viewed as too old and he is too much aligned with George Dubya to win. I am one of like three people nation wide that still supports Dubya, but I see no way of anyone connected with him of getting in to the white house. In my view both democratic candidates are awful. Four years from now the American people will run not walk back to the republican side, so let's hope we get some good candidates in 2012. Of course we should pray for our leaders no matter who they end up being, I just think we are going in the wrong direction.

I'm reminded of a scene that I saw in the Da Vinci Code. Back when it came out I knew it was blasphemous but the error even as a work of fiction exemplifies liberal ideas and double talk. In the film the professor says in Da Vinci's Last supper painting that there is no holy grail nor cups of any kind. Even as he makes the statement cups can be seen clearly even on film. They look a bit like bowls to us but they are cups and no doubt the cup that Jesus passed around in the last supper ceremony would look similar to the cups in the painting. Yet, this character tells us there is no cup when if you use your eyes there is a cup. Obama tries this same thing: there are rules that a Christian should follow. If one uses his head and eyes it is clear that homosexuality is an abomination, and I would say abortion is even worse than that (the homosexual can convert and be forgiven, the dead child goes to heaven but who knows what miracles the world lost). There are scriptures that support this, there are no scriptures to support same sex unions or abortions (murder). Yet, some authoritative "Christian" is telling you that it is there. Don't be fooled. Will McCain or Hillary be any better? It's hard to say, but I know I won't be voting for Obama.

Yeah I doth surely microplayeth,

Anyhoo, it is one heck of a drug screening test that can find opiates that are thousands of years old. People who don't believe will rationalize a miracle with anything that makes them feel more comfortable including drug abuse. Why not blame it on mild heat strokes produced by the desert heat? it would make just as much rational sense without calling Moses a drugged out hippie. The Bible will always seem like foolishness to those who will not believe, but why be surprised? God says it is the fool who says there is no God.

I guess most of the posters here would only seek to see the Pope in order to throw rotten fruit and/or eggs at him.

I see nothing wrong with watching a football game together after church, be it the super bowl or any other sporting event for that matter. Some of the commercials, the players' personal lives, and the half time shows might be questionable, but there is nothing wrong with the competetion itself. I like football but, I can honestly say that I am in church on Sundays far more often than I am in front of the TV for a big game. The problem is that I don't get to do either activity as much as I want to because of work. Now if someone wanted to shut everything down on Sunday except for the churches, then I would be willing to sacrifice football just to get each Sunday off.

I like both. It's good to have the support of a local church because it really is tough to be alone. Having a family "church" is fine too because we all want to remember the Lord, and we can't always go out for services. There are certain doctrines to every denomenation that I might disagree with, but as long as we all believe that Jesus is Lord and have accepted his sacrifice in our place, then the rest can fall as it may. I wouldn't like being in a church that brought out the snakes, name it and claim it doctrine, or went too devout over Mary and the saints, but for the most part they are all good people trying to worship the Lord. Besides, not a single person is 100% correct in his doctrine, you never know what you might learn in a Bible based church that might change even some of your own beliefs.

I'm late commenting here, but my comment is that Dobson is too little, too late to help Huckabee with any endorsement. I think Huckabee would be best for the job as president, but it looks like the good guys will have McCain this go-round. Huckabee standing strong and holding on in the race does two positive things, it shows that he has a lot of support in states like mine where he did win, this would make a him a good running mate, and two, if he does not get on the ticket with McCain he will be remembered four years from now as a guy who came close and he may get another shot. After four years with Hillary or Obama I fully expect a landslide victory for the GOP in 2012. You should take it that I don't think McCain can win the election because he is too old, and that the USA will still exist as a country by the grace of God after the liberal reign of terror that an Obama or Clinton presidency will bring.

O'Bama....well at least we'll have a good strong Irishman in there, he may not be as bad as I fear.

I'm not sure that being a cashless society automatically means that we are in the end times. I am almost always cashless in one way or another. I use debit cards like crazy and at work we see it all the time they are just easier than cash and if they are stolen, one can quickly cancel the card and even be paid back any losses. Again, this ease of pay could be paving the way for the implants. The implant can be given as an injection and devices are already used to tag wildlife, and more recently commercially to pet owners. Imagine that everyone is given an injection as a baby, maybe as part of mandatory immunization. All important data could be stored in the chip and your kids won't get lost or kidnapped. I don't know if that means we are heading to the tribulation, but I wouldn't take an implant.

I'm late for this one, but I don't think many men will sign up willingly for a lifetime of celebacy, especially when the Bible never requires such a vow, to serve any church. It simply is not in a man's nature, directly in the first book of the Bible, it is not good for a man to be alone. This doctrine leads to the kind of scandals that rocked the Catholic Church before. Again, it is my contention that most Catholics are Christian and headed for the same Heaven that the Protestants are. In fact I feel that all denominations are imperfect just as all of us as individuals are, but shouldn't someone who reads the Bible and accepts Jesus as their only Saviour want to be the best Christian that they can be.

As always this stuff is maddness. I don't think kindergarteners (sp?) should be exposed to any sexuality at all. This is pure homo agenda hogwash and the masses just can not see it. There will be a price to pay for teachers who choose to lead these little children astray with this kind of teaching. I don't pretend to know how it works in every state, but here in GA a teacher's classroom is still his/her classroom once the doors get shut. Subjects like homosexuality can be avoided, primarily by the teacher not bringing the issue in to play. BTW for those who don't know I am less than a year away from becoming a teacher myself, I am currently in an internship, I may well find myself teaching at a public school by this time next year, they simply offer a better salary than private schools. I say all that to say this: I fully intend to send my future children to a Christian school or to home school them myself. If at all possible I encourage parents to keep their children out of the public school system.

I'll try again on this because my last comment proved to be too risque.

Let's pretend I know a wolf. He is a friendly wolf who wants to please God. Wolves like meat, it's only natural, and for most God permits wolves to eat meat but I say to serve God best, this wolf can not have meat now or ever. This is a very God-fearing wolf and he takes the vow. Since he has made a vow it is perfectly safe for me to let him take care of the sheep now. In fact I put him in a position of power over very young sheep who will do whatever he asks them to do. Then when the inevitible happens I don't get real help for the wolf, but instead send him to another farm to take care of other young sheep, because I'm sure the wolf has learned his lesson and will never do it again.

The spirit may be willing, but the flesh is weak. I do pray for priests and hope they learn that they best serve God by preaching the gospel. Being a happily married man that leads a good life is much more honoring than a forced celebacy that is doomed for failure.
