Paulus from Alabama wrote: "I guess John the Baptist didn't know he wasn't supposed to be involved in politics."

Or didn't know the "proper" way to address an official.

Andrea, how are things over there in Greece? I don't really keep track of things that go on over there.

Nosey from SA wrote: "You are among the ignorant and blind herd who will never get the picture." My Translation, he's smart John Yurich is dumb.
"It is your generation that has to die off for things to change." This is really troubling, it's shocking really, I'd expect this to come from an atheist, your argument is JY's generation is not as good as yours, therefore they should die, so you get to choose who lives and who dies?

" I am not inferring that 'your generation' needs to be murdeared. You just have to leave this earth." Well you said they needed to die, and your saying he needs to die...or live in outer space, think about what you're saying, and Andrea isn't a normal poster, her comments are more edifying than ours, I know their more edifying than mine, but Nosey, consider what you said.

Well, I only condemn it because God condemns it, He's the One who created everything so He makes the rules, plain and simple, He gave us the bible, which is our Book Instructions Before Leaving Earth, better read it.

I want to warn people about His rules, homosexuality is a crime against God, if you break God's rules you are a criminal, and shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? And Jesus is the righteous Judge, many of these homosexuals will say, "Lord, Lord have we not prophesied in thy name... but then Jesus will say, "I never knew you, depart from me..." they cannot inherit the kingdom of God if they do not repent. We should love our neighbours as ourselves, don't treat them poorly, Greeks will be Greeks.

Well Steven, the only defense I have is that this world is not my home, I'm just a passing through.

I knew this would happen, I predict churches will close off their bathrooms for fear of getting fined or arrested, I predict that pastors will have services in their homes, I further predict that when the pastors do this the government will put hard laws on them...by then they might have been able to abolish private property, so it may not even matter, the police could come in their home (which will actually be properly of the government) and say, "You can't preach Christianity here" I might sound crazy, but just wait.

No doubt Ken Ham is about his Father's business, I don't doubt that, I believe he's a good guy, love's the Lord, yet I've seen it in so many people, myself included, that while we plowing the field we use the wrong tool, I think that's what's happening.

What I'm saying is that, museums were not in the great commission, now I don't want to be misquoted I enjoy Christian museums, happen to love creation topic, I'm doing an AIG Vacation Bible School, I'm not against museums they are certainly edifying just like this app, I would however rather spend 100million dollars in supporting those on the field and being called on the field rather than an ark.

Now I guess the question would come, "How much should we spend for a museum?" Well, that's a while different Dragon to slay, I would say, a church can certainly support a Christian museum as a ministry, because it is, as long as they are still able to support other missionaries.

Just my totally humble, honest, unbiased and correct opinion.

And your comment (not you s c) it does make sense, tell me, where did all the money come from? Who's building the ark? Answers in Genesis, who needs the money? Answers in Genesis, I know they did fund raising and if they were able to get 100million bucks out of donations, I'm sorry to hea

your comment, I'll answer this tomorrow, I had my answer but technology failed me...again, just keep this thought in mind, if your outcome exceeds your income you've got a problem, unless you're Congress and can figure out a way to borrow your way out of debt.

I'll Answer you tomorrow, if you would, please pray for me, helping out my friend who is a church planter in Ontario, so that should be loads of fun helping out a fellow brother in Christ, and in a few months I'm going to help another church planter who is in Pasadena, pray for him and his family, his first service is Sept. 21 thanks and good night.

I believe that there are degrees of sin, when God was giving Moses the laws there was a death punishment for killing someone, not a death punishment for hating someone, same with adultery, you weren't punished for coveting someone's stuff, only when you took it, don't have enough time to go into but I hope you see the point, God instituted certain punishments for certain sins.

Now only the saved are the church, someone can be a tare within the wheat but when Christ comes He's going to gather His wheat and throw the tares into Hell. I don't believe we should conform our sermons to the lost, that is robbing God's sheep of proper food and giving it to Satan's sheep, they unsaved. Will talk more about that later, supper is waiting.

Unfortunately, the Institute for Creation Research (ICR) is starting construction or going to start construction on a museum that is in the millions.

If you wonder why their materials are so expensive, here's your answers.

Careful what you spend your time in, it just might be a waste, like hours of video games and T.V. remember, you will never get back the time that you have spent, whether productive or a waste of time, so be fervent in business.

Before they revisit their definition, they should at least be required to read the Bible, these people aren't even "Methodist" the first Methodist were strict in regards to holiness. Read about John Wesley, he would probably toss most of these guys out. If you compromise in the "little" things you will eventually compromise in the "big" things.

Penned it isn't a website it is part of a teaching course (Faith Bible Institute) by John T. Yates, it is vol.1, Life of Christ section pg. 160,
Whether you can find it online I don't know, I just took a look at the course book and documented the citation.

Lurker I'm all for not getting drunk too, my idea of a good time is not throwing up, getting in fights and not remembering anything the next day hope everyone feels the same.

Observer, I'll make sure you see me eat the pie if I'm wrong.

Chris, if I were a faithful Muslim, and wanted to cause a blow to Christians, I would ram a plane into this when people are there, it would cause grief and terror, sounds a bit nutty but am I wrong? This is another amusement park that needs to be on watch for terrorist attacks.

Good point Kev and JC,

Notice the very personality of a cult leader, he (the guru) tells you what you need to do, and if you don't comply you are in sin. Also, as all cults do, they redefine terms, like: church, Christians, holy.. if you're trying to find out how to identify a cult here's how:

The guru will telk you what you need to do, because he told you to doesn't matter what scripture or logic says, since he tells you to do something you do it or you're in sin, and he'll redefine terms to paint his lies pretty, he needs it to sound good but it can't mean what the bible describes it as, the guru will redefine bible terms. Look into Mormonism, JWs, they do it pretty well, beware my friends.

I believe in gun control, you should hold your gun nice and steady and shot the intended target, now what I don't approve of is an obvious communist tactic, but remember that God will avenge us, and that should make the unbeliever tremble and fear, and give us assurance, that God is Father, and He will make sure justice is done when someone hurts His child.

Now if someone breaks into my house, he may not be alive when he gets out, don't be a pacifist protect your family, and think you could be saving someone else's family, if someone would break into your house what stops him from doing the same to someone else?

Hmm ran out of room, that's not fun, oh well, if you have any questions concerning my comment just ask.

But I'll make a deal with all of you, when I am in Heaven and it turns out I'm wrong I'll find you and say, "I was wrong" but when you get to Heaven, and I speak to the saved, and you find out you're wrong, you find me and tell me you were wrong, how's that for a deal?

Hmm. Interesting comment Lurker, but of course we don't find in the Bible how Noah got the equipment to build the ark, but we know that he got it and the ark was built I don't question that the Ark was built I just can't find in the Bible how he got the materials and from where and who, likewise I have faith that Jesus was not drinking wine but I don't exactly how the process exactly was, I thought the comment I posted was a good point, I need to look at historical...data for lack of better words to get a better grip on the subject, I commented that knowing tradition is helpful but once it seems to go against what scriptures teach we need to be cautious

Now I do know that He was talking to Jews, but He was just stating a fact that "no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish. But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved."
They would have agree that, maybe thinking "Well of course that happens"

So He was just stating a fact, not talking endorsing a wine festival.

Now, I would have to reserve judgment concerning your further comment on this passage, I've been taught that this was referring to the Old and New covenant, so I'll think on that. Very interesting never he

"Wine in the first century was boiled to a hard jell. This removed the fermentation causing bacteria and water. To drink this jell was mixed with from around 3to 20 parts water...was the wine boiled to a jell and mixed with 20 parts water, producing an alcoholic level well under.005%"

It is such a tragedy that I live in a land where thousands of children are killed daily.

Well folks, I will take this time to announce that I am retiring from the comment section, may God bless and sanctify all of you who are saved.
