Hugh Ross, and others that hold his sort of old earth view, believes that the lion tearing the guts out of the zebra is good in the eyes of Almighty God, they have to see suffering as good, death as good, whereas the Bible says that death is an enemy.

Believing that God used evolution to create creation, is borderline heresy.

Kev, I'll be praying for your cousin.

Here's the evolutionists theory, "Long ago and far away nothing exploded and that created everything...and don't you dare question it!"

Dave, thanks for the shout out, I've missed you posting brother, hope everything is going well down under, I liked your comment concerning staying fit, but to me, when I hear exercise sounds like extra fries.

Kev, have you been to the creation museum near San Diego? It's not too far, I live near the L.A. area, and the drive to the creation museum over there is worth it.

I don't get their thinking, it goes like this, "We are upset, so we can break the laws to show our anger" unusual.

Jim, do you think it's right in the sight of God to vote for someone who advocates the slaughtering of children in the womb?

I don't want links, don't side step the issue and say "Trump is this, he does this" I want a straightforward answer, very simple. If your answer is "No" I applaud you, if your answer is "yes" I would remind you to read the " six things doth the Lord hate, yet seven are an abomination unto Him." Portion in Proverbs.

So do you think God is pleased if we vote for someone who loves the idea and practice of slaughtering children and calls it a woman's right?

I agree with Rnel, to call a child of God Satanic is a grievous wrong, I advise you to repent, ask God to have mercy and He will be faithful and just to forgive you, cleanse you from all unrightousness. God bless.

God help us all to stand firm on truth, pray without ceasing, the spirit truly is willing but the flesh incredibly weak, so pray, exhaust yourself in the scriptures and do something for God.

Ah, we have some candor, the reason He doesn't accept the Author of the Bible is because God says, "Thou shalt not commit adultery" that doesn't agree with his lifestyle, it interferes with his way of life.

Hebrews 13:4
Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

My fear is that Noah's day was much worse, I'm predicting bestiality will be legalized, I've heard that some movies are down playing the sin, making it more palatable for the world to swallow, mark my words, it's going to get worse.

But we have a command to go, make disciples of all nations, baptize them, and teach the church to observe the commandments of our Saviour.

I think common sense is mostly found in God's word, I would wager to say we are built with a common sense but it is so marred by sin.

Also the world tries to conform us to it's insanity, that is why we aught to be fervent to renew our minds and that's a life-long process...something the Holy Spirit has been working with me.

I heard of an Amish father who fasted for over 30 days because his son (who was married to an Amish lady who got saved as well) had converted to Christianity, he didn't die from it but the son was distraught because his dad said he wouldn't eat until God answered his prayer (that his son who recant his profession and turn back to the Amish)

My youth pastor had a friend who fasted for a month, so apparently some people can fast for long periods of time.

It's unfortunate this man died from trying to do what Jesus did, so terrible to hear.

SteveR wrote:" Without the doctrine of the RCC, and the works of Aquinas, Northern Europeans would still be non Trinitarian barbarians mixing faux Christianity and Tree Worship"

If I hear you right, you're saying God is dependent on the RCC and Aquinas, I don't know about everyone else but that's what I'm hearing.

John Y, your beliefs bar you from being a Catholic, it's either the RCC or God, your choice, I'd recommend you be on God's side, not mans'.

Your statement, " Who cares that the Catholic Church states that it is anathema to believe that salvation comes only through justification by faith in Jesus alone?"

Is like saying, "Who cares if people are going to Hell" you realize that people are blinded by the servant of the Devil, (The RCC) and most are headed to Hell because idolaters, liars, the fearful, and unbelieving shall not inherit the kingdom of God, they are they which say they are Jews and are not but do lie and are of the synagogue of Satan, be awakened, see the wretchedness of the blasphemous cult and repent and turn to Jesus.

" First off I am John Y, not Steve Y." My bad Sorry if I offended you, please accept my apologies.

" I happen to know for a fact"

That's just a mantra, there is no possible way you can know for a fact they have always practiced and taught that what you claim.

Think about what you're saying, you can't really know for a fact,
you have faith in the Catholic organization that they've always done that, SteveR he John is not correct, we would need perfect, untainted, unedited, intimate knowledge about the Catholic organization and history, now my God has that knowledge and He knows who's His child, and who's not His child.

God made rules, we broke them because we are natural enemies of the Most High, yet He is willing to forgive guilty criminals through Jesus Christ the righteous, He's my God, and if I ever sound coming offensive I don't mean to be, but after years of blaspheming His name, I want to defend it, and rejoice and tremble unto Him and His holy name.

Steve Y wrote, "A Cult is a religious organization that does not worship Jesus as God. And since the Catholic Church has always worshiped the biblical and historical Jesus as God then it is not a Cult."

How can you possibly prove that the Catholic organization has always worshiped the biblical and historical Jesus as God? Wouldn't you have to have perfect knowledge of history?
