I am waiting to hear people rejoice that the child was spared a horrible death. A person made in the image of God with a never dying soul. Not so for the ape. This child has another chance at life. Kids can slip away from the best of parents. All parents have to honestly admit that. When you bring wild critters like apes, lions, tigers, etc and put them in captivity there are extreme risks and dangers involved. Animal handlers get hurt or killed at times. Some animals have escaped. If folks are so worked up about a flea bitten ape then maybe we shouldn't have zoos in the first place.
Whether the mother was neglectful or not the animal needed to be put down. Period. The police has no business investigating her. Why dont CPS and cops shutdown PP? Plenty of child neglect and murder going on like a factory. Many of the pervs in Hollywood are putting in their $.01 about it. These folks who turn a blind eye to the pedophilia rampant there. The irony of it all is that many folks can't wait to get in line at Disney, movie theatres, and concert ticket offices to be entertained by these people. Patronizing these folks so tjey can continue to flaunt their drug addiction, drunkeness, sexual immorality and then hire high priced lawyers to cover for them.
Laws against murder, theft, perjury, etc are moral. To say you cannot legislate morality is nonsense. We would have no laws and anarchy would be the result.
Not a surprise. RCC killed tons of people back in their golden age who did not comply to their teaching. Same as Islam. They fought each other in the past now they are allies. This chummy relationship does not have God wringing his hands or cowering in fear. In His eternal decree in eternity past this was done and it is going according to His plan. God wins and reigns now and forevermore. The duties of true believers is to endure until the end. That is what we should be praying for. To stand in the midst of evil.
Cecille needs to repent and believe the gospel of Christ. She will one day die like all of us and face God and give an account of her sin and she will not be able to talk her way out of it. Man may praise her and she has a lot of money, but God is not impressed. Such hatred that a woman would kill her baby just because she can and feels empowered doing it.
Christian schools had better understand that these are not people wanting to escape their lifestyle through Christ, but infiltrate and destroy Christianity. This is nonsense about a homosexual sibling. Kinda like the argument for justifying abortion in the case of rape or incest. This is a schtick. These folks (most) want to destroy Christianity. They never will. Christ is building His church and will prevail. The Church will survive as it has for 2000yrs.
The school is probably seeking to keep out families that support homosexuality and they can do that. They know there are parents who support it. Publicly releasing the document is to persecute them and shame them by the homosexuals who think that their lifestyle trumps biblical authority and criticism. Have all the religion you want, but don't dare say that their lifestyle should be shunned. These folks get angry if there is any dissent to their lifestyle. The private school is private so they can deny service to certain patrons outside of their business scope.
Its bad, but pray and pray hard. Mr. Obama and others need prayer. We are under judgement as a nation. Our women are manish and whore like. Men are effeminate. Remember, England and America had revivals. Some clear, straight forward preaching is needed from more than a few of the tons of churches. I think its time fir fasting and prayer. Do we agree on that? Can we commit to that?
A weakend military. I bet all the enemies of America are shaking in their boots now. They are are prolly rolling on the ground with laughter. If God doesn't send another awakening we as a nation are done. Won't be the first nation to rise and fall. Immorality and decadence kills a nation everytime. The church, however will never fail and survives every failed nation because Christ is her King. He will return one day and all eyes shall see Himas He comes from the clouds. He will put His enemies under His foot.
They also did not use a large sample population and even an adult chose someone of an opposit ethnic group who was happy. Besides, none of this is relevant. God made man and there is only one race. Human race with ethnic diversity. All have sin and under God's wrath. Anyone can by God's grace believe and be saved only through Christ.
Here is another thought. The 5-6 in the study were more focused on the emotion and therefore picked based solely on emotion and not ethnicity. Little kids love smiley faces and draw pictures of happy people. At 5-6 yrs of age they are very emotional. As they get older they get more rational. The 9-10yr olds could answer the question differently. This "study" is nonsense and doesn't prove that little kids believe in ethnicity is fluid. During slavery and Jim Crow young white and black kids played happily together until they got past early years. White children of slave owners loved their black caregiver as little kids. Didn't mean they thought ethnicity was fluid. They like all little kids and babies base acceptance on an emotional and relational level.The folks doing the study need to be stripped of their academic credentials.
I know about coops and HSLDA. Good options. For moms who have to work, Christian School is the only alternative I am aware of. If you know otherels please share. Thanks!
All, lets help one another. If you and your church family can, support homeschooling and private school by helping pay for tuition or curriculum. Also, many private schools have a benevolent fund for struggling families. If you know a good Christian School make a donation or partner for $20/month. Volunteer if you can. Always pray. Don't allow discouragement to take over. Remember, Christ will stand on the earth
Kjg, keep it up. I know of a private school near my job where enrollment was up last year. I bet there will be an increase this fall. I will be praying that this will encourage us to witness more and more people will repent.
People are furious in the US. Media may not be giving an accurate depiction. I am willing to be people are writing their Congressmen and many will pull their kids from state run schools come fall. Sad thing is Americans don't seem to see their need to repent and turn to Christ. I am of the opinion that gross immorality, divorce, and abortion has come back to bite us. We have gone mad from promiscuity
