The verse you quoted does not mean a Christian cannot run for office. The Lord was correcting the disciples for their pride and wanting authority to get vain glory rather than serving. You are using eisegesis rather than exegesis. A believer can use authority for good. Like parenting, supervising, and governing. Sounds like you do not want a believer to govern you as a servant. |

Your prayers won't stop it either, God hasn't stopped over a half billion babies from being murdered in the womb no matter how much you prayed, He isn't going to stop some perverts from forcing themselves into women's bathrooms either. That is because we are under judgement according Rom 1:18 and following. God has not stepped of His throne nor is He wringing His hands wondering what to do. Remember Noah. All were eating, drinking, marrying, and continuing headlong into sin until the door of the ark was shut. Same was true in Sodom and Gomorrah. The same will happen to the West if she does not repent. Don't forget that during the days of King Ahab much evil was going on, but Ahab and his wife were struck down by God after many years. God is not mocked. He will pour out His holy wrath when He sees fit. God knows every sparrow that falls so surely He knows every baby snuffed out through abortion. We all die and we will face a Holy God who doesn't take kindly to His image being treated as though it were trash. |

How does erecting a statue of a non-existant deity for idolatrous worship equal in thought and substance displaying the very words of THE I AM? |
