Yes, a wonderful and well constructed article. If these elbow-rubbers can be more like our Lord Jesus who ate with both the common sinners and the religious sinners but did it to help heal the commoners and to correct and rebuke the religious. "And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind" (John 9:39, KJV). These friends of the world are blindly approaching the edge of the abyss.

I am waiting for "Racial Justice" also. Our black men are being murdered in mass by other black men and nearly half our black babies (over half in the cities she named) are being murdered by their black mothers. Will Madam Lynch and her "Justice" Dept do something about this racial injustice or will she walk in the footsteps of Holder and turn a blind eye to the murder of Black innocents and continue the prosecution of our nation's peacemakers whether they be the police or the true children of God.

This "Thief" in Chief was voted in to steal through redistribution of the peoples hard earned moneys, kill the unborn sons of men and many innocent children through collateral damage with his drone strikes, and destroy our blood-bought freedoms. Satan has discovered that we the people are easily dazzled by firsts (even though I personally am still waiting for my first Black President). Looks like he has another first waiting in the wings to dazzle the people with. And like this first we already know that she has an evil record.

"The lesbian mayor of Houston, Annise Parker, is promising to do “whatever” is needed..." Sounds a lot like our President with his Executive Orders and Memorandums. These and other evil people were voted in by the people. I was redeemed in the early '70s and had marveled for years how it can happen that the vast majority of the world could believe the lie of "the man of sin" when I first read about him in 2nd Thessalonians 2. Of course it is God that will give them over to believe the lie because they had no love for the truth. That means tyrants like Mayor Parker and the President will be voted into office as God's condemnation of the very people that voted them in the first place; twice in the President's case.

Pennnned, you are correct. A large portion of the weapons used by the "rebels" fighting ISIS come from what we supplied Khadafi in Libya when he was fighting rebels there, but after he was taken out a large portion of that weaponry was sent to Syria via Turkey during the civil war with full knowledge of both McCain & the President. And of course many arms dealers are getting their cues from the CIA as to whom to arm. I'm sure the blood spilled in Nigeria, Syria, Iraq, and even the blood of martyred believers can lead indirectly back to Washington. Woe to them in the judgement!

Boko Haram and groups like them are horrific. But if the Nigerian government and other cowardly governments (like ours) were not so Islamophobic they could be wiped out. But the fear is that the so-called moderate Muslims would become radicalized and attack from within those countries. Also money to finance those radical groups' weaponry is coming from oil rich countries like UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and many others. The U.S. should put pressure on the U.N. to put economic sanctions on any country that finances terrorist organizations. Oops! I wonder if that would include us because I'm sure that many of those hardworking American Muslims and business owners are sending money to finance those groups also.

Thank you very much for the update. I think every one you've mentioned would acquit themselves well to the pro-life cause. What a variety and rainbow of pro-life candidates. The Democratic party should be jealous of such variety. I have yet to hear if the current "Black" President has called and congratulated the new Conservative Black representatives in Congress. I put "Black" in quotes because technically it takes a small percentage of genes to be classified as Black these days. I guess if Dr. Carson is nominated he would truly be the first fully Black and Pro-Life President in the nation. I wonder if some of my fellow Black pro-lifers would actually vote for him.

Understood.

Just curious: Do you know if Iowans have taken to any potential pro-life Presidential candidates for 2016?

Can anyone say "Lawsuit?"

“I, too, am a person of very deep religious faith …" so says Mayor Reed. So called brother against brother "and that before unbelievers." It will be interesting on how the city's Christian community comes down on this including the next mayoral election. I guess this city's public servants can not express written or verbal communications that are Biblical based. Can they even attend services that are not Unitarian or PCUSA? Yeah, buy the book!!!

Carl,
I appreciate your zeal, but unfortunately the President will veto the bill. It doesn't mean these Reps shouldn't try as hard as possible to stop this genocide, but we must be prepared for this obstacle.
The veto is expected if it makes it that far but hopefully God will cause the President's veto to work to inspire even more believers and prolifers to get off their knees and put someone in the White House in 2016 who will sign the next one that Congress (with even more support) puts forth. I know for sure of at least two presidential candidates who would sign (and even help sponsor) such a bill and others like that one.

I'll say this loud and clear:

At this particular time in history having conservative Republican politicians in all institutions of both federal and state governments saves the lives of unborns. I strongly suggest that anyone who is truly prolife (regardless of political persuasion) take advantage before that window closes and they are voted out of office or their hearts turn apathetic life they've done on marriage.

Surgical abortions may be dropping but not exclusively because of less clinics but the increased use of abortifacient drugs and IUDs. Plus many surgical abortions are being done in hospitals where patients have it covered in their private and government healthcare plans. Remember that the vast majority of clinics that are closing are cash clinics.

Speaking of cash a report was published showing that in 2013 the federal & state gov provided the average welfare mother in NY state a little over $38000 per year tax free to raise a child. That's nearly $700,000 for 18 yrs if that held static. I bet that if $250,000 was promised up front to be placed in a pregnant mother's account on the day that she delivers the baby and is married (before delivery & to a man only) that surgical abortions would practically disappear. If we are going to give this amount of money to sponsor irresponsible behavior we just as well give the same amount that saves lives and help promote responsible behaviors. How much would you give to save a life? And now critics, let me have it!

"...Michelle Obama explained why her family doesn't regularly attend church: "We try to go to church as much as possible. … But if we're not going to church, we really try to use Sunday as family downtime where we can kind of breathe and catch up and maybe take a little nap every now and then if we're not working."

These so-called "spiritual advisers" need to advise them "not forsaking the assembly of ourselves" together with real believers. They better be careful in spending more Sunday "downtime" that they don't descend into hell.

He's not out of touch... he's lying. It is so obvious that he and Holder has purposely divided this nation. The biggest and obvious proof out of many (including his own words) is his collaboration with Sharpton within the White House. This man is the Divider in Chief and he has two more years to make relations even worse. The only thing he is out of touch with is righteousness.

The perishing and apostate will fall for this man's "50th" lie just as they did the other 49. He may go down in history as America's greatest president!

"9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." 2 thess. 2 kjv

"Gay men... if they abstain from sex for 1 year..." Sounds like a punch line from The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. I can hear Ed's hardy guffaw. Sounds like a sure recipe for tragedy and lawsuits! "Professing to be wise..."

5"For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

6And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him." Heb 1:5-6

Father is happy and He commands all His "messengers" to worship the Son. If we (God's "messengers") were to take this request from the Father seriously and worship His Son every day of the year then today shouldn't really matter. As a matter of fact I would think it would be a golden opportunity for we "messengers" to use this time to tell the world of the Father's "good intentions towards" them. And add a little something about "peace on earth" too.

"Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee" (John 5:14). Is Jesus still finding and admonishing evangelicals in our churches today to "sin no more?" Do we have the courage to ask a sinning brother today to "sin no more" and be used by God to "convert a sinner from the error of his way" so as to "save his soul from death" (James 5:20)? One of the big failures of clergy today that is contributing to the modern great apostasy is that they have lost the courage to tell their "whosoever" "elect" members to stop sinning. A gospel that does not address sin is not a gospel! I agree with the Master when He says "Repent and believe in the Gospel" for it is truly "the power of God unto salvation!"

Again I want to express my appreciation for you
Brother Michael H.
Thank you for the kind words but if there were any words of wisdom to be found in my post then all glory should be given to God. What I am glorifying Him for is the wonderful report you gave of that prison visit in GA. Makes me wonder, "Who is the real prisoner or who is truly free?" Or, "Church in prison or are some churches prisons?" Or once more, "Saints in prisons or criminals in churches?" God knows who are His. God knows the truth about Ferguson too. "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity" (Psalm 133:1)! If that verse can be exemplified in a prison in GA there is hope it can be exemplified in the city of Ferguson, MO.

For a moment this week I thought I was reliving the 60's and early 70's. I saw and heard (and downloaded) video of Michael Brown's step-father standing on top of a car and shouting repeatedly to "burn this (bleep) down." Apparently some followed his instructions and he is facing no consequences for his incitement to riot. I was straining to hear wonderful Lady Wisdom crying out in the streets of Ferguson for peace but instead heard Mister Chaos and Foolishness inciting the stoned crowds to violence and arson. As a "black" believer (I hate all racial additives to the Faith) I constantly use events such as Ferguson and politics to gauge the spiritual discernment of members of my local church as to their fidelity to race or fidelity to Biblical truth and righteousness. Unfortunately I never fail to be disappointed in their response because truth and righteousness is often thrown out the window when it comes to racial matters. Like the writer of Hebrews I plead and warn them of the danger of rejecting the superiority of Jesus in discerning truth when Satan (the great accuser) brings up the race card to bring division in our nation and among the body of Christ. Pray that my people (according to the flesh) have the eyes of their understanding enlightened to what is going on.
