But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
(Mat 18:6)

See that you do not look down on any of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven. What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them goes astray, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go out to search for the one that is lost? And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he rejoices more over that one sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray. In the same way, your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish.
(Mat 18:10-14)

President Xi Pooh (yes, ironically, Pooh is his first name) and any other leader who use and take advantage of children (especially children of believers) do not escape the observation by the Father and His angels. I've read that China banned a Winnie the Pooh film in 2018 because they felt it would cause him to mocked. Of course, banning a children's film is peanuts compared to banning married couples from having a certain number of children and using kids to spy on parents of believers.

This "paper" should become irrelevant; it has seen its best days long ago. In its physical form It should be used to supplement the shortage of toilet paper and its articles should be classified as "sensationalist" (the dirty form of the word) at best. I've noticed that the Washington Post has toned down its political propaganda. Even Hillary and the bitter stars who were gleeful and mocked on Twitter that the U.S. had become the nation with the most cases of the virus were roundly mocked in return. Hopefully the NYT and NPR will come out of this epidemic with a major loss of subscribers and viewership. With a nation struggling together as one to overcome a danger to all of its citizens of all backgrounds and philosophies there is no room nor patience for those who continue to have caustic attitudes against another fellow American.

Amazing! As the coronavirus picks up steam in more deaths the carnivorous abortionists are determined to remain the world's number one killer; no matter what.

https://www.foxnews.com/health/pennsylvania-supermarket-says-coughing-prank-prompts-trashing-of-35g-in-produce-other-items

The above link is a report from Fox News this morning referencing that $35000 of produce from a grocery store had to be trashed because a customer came in and coughed all over it as a prank. If you read the article you will find that the prankster (a woman) has always been "a chronic problem in the community" by police.

It would be interesting if someone who actually has the virus intentionally infects other people and causes a death would be prosecuted. It is already a problem with people naively spreading it because of carelessness.

This is disheartening if "'close to' 4.63 million" online viewers listened to Olsteen's message is true. Now, it will be irresponsible for me (or anyone else) to say that all of these viewers are lost for no one knows but the Lord who are truly His. Paul, in 2 Corinthians, severely chastises that assembly of believers for receiving men who he labelled as "false apostles, deceitful workers who disguise themselves as apostles of Christ" (2Cor 11:13). Remember in an earlier letter to this assembly Paul lamented "Brothers, I could not address you as spiritual, but as worldly - as infants in Christ" (1Cor 3:1). The point is many believers today remain spiritual infants "tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting" (Eph 4:14). They will all stand before the Lord at His judgement seat and get His "review" and reward. No one can complain if the reward they receive from Him is paltry.

Also, we must be careful of the things we view online concerning conspiracy theories. To quote Edgar Poe "Believe nothing you hear, and only one half that you see."

Wow, Jim. I agree with you. It is only one step with Jesus: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
(Mat 11:28-30)

Dr. Tim wrote:
Carl, let me tell you about the most wonderful rehab program ever... To anyone struggling with addiction of any type, may I say that faith in Jesus Christ is the way to overcome it.
Amen! Yes, and Amen!

And for me, immediately stopped smoking pot and cigarettes, stopped popping speed and Darvon, stopped drinking beer and alcoholic spirits, and (more importantly) stopped fornicating and carousing with "friends" who encouraged me to do those things. "Whom the Son sets free is free indeed!"

Yeah, science takes a hit... again. It is better to be a skeptic against scientific theories (such as Theory of Evolution or the Big Bang Theory) than being a skeptic against scientific fact such as Earth is circular (versus the Flat Earth Theory), jet contrails are fuel exhausts (versus the Chemtrails Conspiracy Theory), and that only females menstruate (versus "Not everyone who menstruates is female").

I am sure that the study does not include those who attended both AA and spiritual counseling via church attendance, Bible Studies, or direct counseling from a church elder. I could also add direct counseling via prayer to his Wonderful Counselor.

At yesterday's fellowship it was mentioned the possible "positive" side effect this pandemic might have on reducing abortions. I pray that people rethink their position concerning the shedding of innocent blood. It is great hypocrisy to care for one's own life concerning the virus and be fickle and care less about taking the lives of the unborn.

I'm not into conspiracy theories but its hard to distance that China is trying to benefit from this virus one way or the other even if they didn't intentionally create it. Trump had just begun to humble them economically with the tariffs and the trade deals were just beginning to be implemented. And I understand as a communist nation that can bring down the hammer and lock down its citizens at any moment in a perceived crisis. Obviously, they are lying about the numbers of infected and deaths but it is hard to believe that the virus has been effectively shut down in a crowded and aging population of nearly 1.4 billion. Looks like Xi wants to make his move.

As far as our nation is concerned, this story is larger than the virus. Socialism is waiting to come rush in for the rescue if our financial system collapses. That is why China and Cuba are trying to play a role in "helping" democratic nations in distress to overcome the virus. The global political map will forever be changed and in the U.S. this new generation of socialism among these millennials (led by the Bernie Bros) is probably here to stay.

The virus is "politically motivated?" And "anointed handkerchiefs" for healing? I don't know where this pastor's heart is but it seems not to be on the safety of his flock. I don't know if someone who attends these gatherings can sue him if they contract the virus, but it might be worth it to teach this man to be a better shepherd.

Paul says "For this reason God gave them over to their own disgraceful and vile passions" (Romans 1:24, 1:26). Jesus says "Leave them alone! They are blind guides" (Matthew 15:14). Seems like, sadly, the LGBTQ activists are laying the seeds of their own destruction. And Harvard is asking for a court defeat.

"Representative Sonya Williams-Barnes of Gulfport was critical of HB 1295, voting against the bill when it was in a House committee earlier this month.

“Women should have a right to make a choice for themselves whether they want to have a child or not,” stated Williams-Barnes, as reported by the Associated Press.

“My concern is, you make the woman have the child that has these deficiencies, but yet are you going to give her any medical aid or home care assistance for the child?”

Mrs. William-Barnes is a Black woman (I am a Black man) and our race has been decimated by abortion mills, black on black murders, and drug addiction in our neighborhoods. She has the nerve to ask where "medical aid or home care assistance" for these children comes from. As a state representative, she has the power of the purse; add appropriate funding to the bill. Hypocritical Black women like her are numerous in our churches (especially African Methodist Episcopal).

And her comment "you make the woman have the child" sickens me. She acts like babies just pop up out of nowhere like an infection that women must get rid of. She sounds like the Pharisee who asked Jesus "Who is my neighbor?"

We (the Western consumers) buy our I-phones, Lenovo computers, Nike athletic gear, pharmaceuticals (some to fight the coronavirus), and a great amount of goods and produce found in Walmart and Amazon that were manufactured and processed in China using forced labor from both Muslims and Christians. We should manufacture our own goods. Yes, it will cost more but we will not be held hostage to a dystopian regime bent on world domination. China is merely a greater or more "prosperous" North Korea.

Hopefully "worshipers move online" is temporary and does not catch on after the crisis is over. The admonition in Hebrews 10:25 still applies:

This is not the time to pull away and neglect meeting together, as some have formed the habit of doing, because we need each other! In fact, we should come together even more frequently, eager to encourage and urge each other onward as we anticipate that day dawning.
(Heb 10:25)
