Abigail wrote “During the time between the burial of Christ and His resurrection, He was in hell preaching to the captives.”

Luk 23:42-43 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, **To day** shalt thou be **with me** in paradise.

“…and this he was to enter upon that very day; which shows, that Christ's soul did not descend into hell, locally and literally considered, or into the "Limbus Patrum", the Papists talk of, to fetch the souls of the patriarchs thence, but as soon as it was separated from the body was taken up into heaven; and also, that the souls of departed saints are immediately, upon their separation from the body, there;”

…“Jesus was born again -- the firstborn from the dead."

Kenneth Copeland (Substitution and Identification, tape #00-0202, side)

"I've had ugly books written about me because I said that Jesus died spiritually, but the fact is, I didn't say that the Bible said it. Jesus became our substitute. If he hadn't died spiritually, then we could never have been made alive spiritually. But He did! On the cross, Jesus was separated from the glory of God…

The Jesus Died Spiritually Heresy (JDS Heresy)

One of the most blatant and blasphemous heresies taught by the major internationally known Word of Faith teachers is the doctrine that says Jesus Christ, God the Son died spiritually and had to be reborn spiritually …

The person who brought this concept to the forefront was E.W. Kenyon

E.W. Kenyon believed that Jesus died two deaths. He died physically and He died spiritually.

“Jesus was conceived without sin. His body became mortal, only then could He die. When this happened, spiritual death, the nature of Satan, took possession of His Spirit.”

“He was to partake of Spiritual Death, the nature of the Adversary. It has been said that God could not do a thing like that. That is sense knowledge reasoning. . .Satan would become His master.”

"He is the first born out of spiritual death, the first person who was ever born again. . . His spirit absolutely became impregnated with the sin nature of the world. . . Christ did not have sin reckoned to Him. He was made to be sin.”

(Kenyon, E.W. What Happened From the Cross to the Throne, seventh edition)

Mar 1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Mat 3:2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Mat 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

…the kingdom of the Messiah, which was "at hand", just ready to appear, when he would be made manifest in Israel and enter upon his work and office: it is the Gospel dispensation which was about to take place, and is so called; because of the wise and orderly management of it under Christ, the king and head of his church by the ministration of the word, and administration of ordinances; whereby, as means, spiritual and internal grace would be communicated to many, in whose hearts it would reign and make them meet for the kingdom of glory; and because the whole economy of the Gospel, the doctrines and ordinances of it are from heaven...

But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him: That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
(Joh 12:37-40)

But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
(Joh 10:26)

When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
(Mat 19:25-26)

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
(1Pe 2:9-10)

… for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
(Mat 19:9)

For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy. But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.

Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

Clarence Larkin said 'Prepare the way of the Lord for what? Not for the Cross but for the Kingdom.'
(Rightly Dividing the Word, p. 51)

M.R. DeHaan made the following statement with reference to the first advent of our Lord “... the kingdom of heaven is the reign of heaven's King on earth. This Jesus offered to the nation of Israel when he came the first time, but they rejected it and he went to the cross…”
(The Second Coming of Jesus, p. 98)

W.E. Blackstone 'He would have set up the kingdom, but they rejected and crucified Him.'
(Jesus is Coming, p. 46)

Why did the Christ fail in his attempt to establish a kingdom during his first advent?… S.D. Gordon (Quiet Talks About Jesus, p. 131) says: 'Everything must be done through man's consent.' Commenting further on this he said (sec. 4):

“God proposes, man disposes. God proposed a king, and a worldwide kingdom with great prosperity and peace. Man disposed of that plan, for the bit of time and space controlled by his will.”

...the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
(Rev 13:8b)

When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.
(Joh 6:15)

Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world… (Joh 18:36a)

Dispensationalists look for a future Davidic kingdom, i.e., a future millennium, based on an alleged distinction between the kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of God. If the fact can be scripturally established that the kingdom of heaven is synonymous with the kingdom of God which the dispensationalist admits is present already - then two things are true:

1.the Davidic kingdom has already been established, and

2.there will be no future millennium, but it too began at the first advent. This we believe the Bible teaches.

…scriptural evidence that the kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of God are synonymous terms is found in two accounts of the sending out of the Twelve… One of these inspired men chose to use the term kingdom of heaven, while the other preferred the kingdom of God.

And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
(Mat 10:7)

And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
(Luk 9:2)

…let us turn to Matt 19:23,24...

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the **kingdom of heaven.** And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the **kingdom of God.**
(Mat 19:23-24)

The reason I quoted Scofield was because he stated that Israel "has never as yet taken the land under the unconditional Abrahamic Covenant, nor has it ever possessed the whole land" yet the Bible says in Jos 21:43-45 that they did!

It is important to see that the nation has never as yet taken the land under the unconditional Abrahamic Covenant, nor has it ever possessed the whole land. (Scofield Ref.Bible Deu 30:3)

And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he swore to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein. And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that he swore unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand. There failed not aught of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.
(Jos 21:43-45)

Two young women were a major influence on his spiritual journey. Sarah Cooke and W. R. Hawxhurst were YMCA workers who regularly attended Moody’s meetings. Cooke told Hawxhurst that she had a burden for Moody that he might receive the "baptism of the Holy Ghost and of fire…23 Moody had the experience of the "second blessing" for which he had long prayed:

Ah, what a day! I cannot describe it … I can only say that God revealed Himself to me, and I had such an experience of His love that I had to ask Him to stay His hand.24

Moody not only had the support of all kinds of evangelicals. He also appealed to the liberals. In his later years he invited "liberal churchmen as speakers to his summer conferences."54 One such man was Henry Drummond (1851-1897), a theologian who in his Ascent of Man, defended evolutionism. Despite opposition from his more conservative friends, Moody persisted in allowing Drummond and others a platform to speak.

55 Of Drummond Murray writes:
Drummond appears to have departed from all the central doctrines of the faith, yet at his early death at the age of forty-five Moody spoke of him as the ‘most Christ-like man I ever met.’56

Moody’s attitude towards Rome is also questionable. On the one hand, he preached against transubstantiation in Baltimore and the confessional and priestly absolution in Dublin;58 on the other, he advocated co-operation with Roman Catholics in world evangelisation:

‘I hope,’ he exclaimed ‘to see the day when all bickering, division and party feeling will cease, and Roman Catholics will see eye to eye with Protestants in this work. Let us advance in a solid column – Roman Catholics, Protestants, Episcopalians, Presbyterians, Methodists – against the ranks of Satan’s emissaries.’ (59Findlay, American Evangelist, p. 248.)

The true church does not fight against Satan with those who are themselves the enemies of God. Nor does the true church help the false church to spread her errors. Yet, Moody "gave a handsome sum" to build a Roman Catholic church in his home town60 and on one occasion asked the Roman Catholic bishop of Chicago to pray for him!61

The original edition of the NASB was based on the 23rd edition of the Nestle/Aland Greek N.T. text. The current, "Updated" version of the NASB has been brought into conformity with the 26th edition of this same Greek Text.

The main difference between these two editions of the NASB will be seen in the shift in judgment by the Editorial Board, from accepting the Westcott and Hort theory regarding the so-called, Western Non-Interpolations, in the first edition, to finally rejecting this theory in its current Updated Edition…This has resulted in their placing back into the text, several doctrinally substantive readings in Luke's Gospel, regarded by an earlier Editorial Board to be no part of the inspired text. One of these passages dealt with the ascension of Christ.**** The original NASB left this ascension account out,**** claiming it was not found in the best witnesses. They have now, forty years later, put the ascension back into the text, thus bringing the NASB closer in conformity to the original Protestant Textus Receptus Greek N.T. underlying the King James Bible.

The Inquisition

“Most people have some knowledge of the holocaust, the 6 years of torture and atrocities that the Jews suffered under Hitler and the Nazis during the Second World War. While in no way downplaying the terrible events of the holocaust, such a massacre does not compare to the severity to the torture and murder that took place under Papal authority during the 605 years of the Inquisition. From the beginning of the Papacy, until the present time, it is estimated by credible historians that more than 50,000,000, men and women have been slaughtered for the crime of heresy charged against them by Papal Rome.”

"This Video contains actual photographs of some of the instruments of torture that were used. Since we consider this Video on the Inquisition one of the more important message that we have given, please make it known to others, and if possible post the link on your own website."
