St JeremiahI have spent the last few weeks investigating this so I can see what is going on and it would be worth investigating Rick Warren and associated "church growth" authors in the light of books written by Alice Bailey, Annie Bessant, H G Wells to name a few occultists. The language of the Purpose books are serious loaded with all the terms and language of such books and books like the Aquarian Conspiracy etc. Alice Bailey herself said that the church was to be a primary vehicle through which the New World Order would be set up and preached. I conclude that the church has been infested with high ranking occultists over the last 80 years. Almost all prominant christian ministers and authors are seriously duped by such or are such. I believe Rick Warren to be such. I was wrong originally saying it was a waste of time to read. It has shown me how far down Alice Bailey's road the church has gone. Hold fast to that which you have. |

I like your "economic" analysis. In an economy where we can't be bothered to grow the church by converting the unsaved we have to share resources in a limited marketplace. (I like to speak of Gods people as impersonal numbers in a church system that loves to think in church growth terms.)This was before I completely left the Pentecostal movement, I was under a transitional move by God prior to complete extraction and becoming amazed at how unbiblical it all was. The Pastor of the church I was in was not tyranical unlike the one I had previously left. In fact it saddened me that I had to leave as he became swept away by the Toronto blessing. I now find it rediculously frustrating that whatever denomination one attends, they do not hold to a reformed doctrine. It's all new wine, even in non charismatic churches. That's where God I feel is glorified through what Sermon Audio does. |

Back to the topic it is saddens me beyond words to hear that we all have fallen so far that such sodomites have such a run of things.Seems like the gay activists are getting very jarred. See news item ]]Lesbians, condoms go wild in attack on Christian church What would we do in that situation in our own church if people did that in front of our own kids? Surely if Jesus braided a whip to beat the money changers out of the temple of God surely this is crossing the line where physical action can be taken in removing them from the congregation? Surely there must be a limit to what we "tolerate". As a Christian do we stand by and allow a gang of homosexuals sodomise our child while we shout at them? How far do we have to allow them to go before rightous defense comes into play? There must come a time for righteous action? |

I have a problem with this question.I'll explain. Many years ago I left a Pentecostal Church for very important doctrinal reasons whilst seeing very demonic manifestations taking place and being encouraged. I attended a different church 30 mins away. This new Pastor from NZ was the "new kid on the block" and the ministers from around the area played hard ball and almost behaved like the mafia. We are talking ministers from Anglican, Baptist, Presbyterian, Salvation Army, and Pentecostal churches. He would receive a call every Sunday from the ministers asking how many people attended his church on Sunday. He participated at first in innocence then it became clear it was a numbers game over who got the biggest numbers. It was an Ego Trip taking place. He refused to participate. Heavy treatment was put on him to report any new comers to his church and to send back anyone who went to his church from their church. He refused saying people could worship where ever God wanted them to worship. This was a mistake. The churches of the area started branding him as a cult leader and his church as a cult. It was a disgusting display that I have seen over and over again in many different places and churches. Who cares about the numbers. |

St JeremiahI hope you don't place salvation by grace through faith in the cultural context of 1st Century Middle East like you do Leviticus 19:18? I mean how far does cultural context operate? It's up to the bias of the individual to which many ministers in churches today do not even believe in God ... probably because it isn't culturally relevant to do so today. It isn't culturally relevant to be against homosexuality. What you are proposing is that changing standards of a society can change what is relevant in scripture. I like that you state the scripture yet you voted no. That takes a lot of mental gymnastics. None the less at least you still come to the same conclusion that it defiles the temple of God. Just watch out cultural context does not supersede scripture. |

Ahh, Cliff and Jim.I speak about the NWO and people still call me Con Spiro, the Greek conspirator. (I'm not greek BTW) Heads still aren't out of the sand over this issue and probably won't be till theres a gun pointing at their head and they say "How did it come to this." Too busy being entertained to careless. But then that's what will make all these things a great delusion. Neil: Asia is left out because they have to play their part in the plan when they decide it is time to pull the war card. They have got the Shanghi Co-operation Organisation which is Asia's NATO. Russia, China and Iran are already part, other Asian nations are already observers and will likely join in the future. Funny the world is distinctly looking like Huxley's Brave New World and Orwell's 1984. Revelation 16:12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. The Turkish Moslem empire dried up throughout the latter part of the 1800's culminating in WWI. Ever since the Kings of the East have been preparing. |
