Guess I'll have to wait until Monday to hear about what Pastor Steve at the Baptist church I attend every Sunday where they teach the biblical doctrine of salvation would say......
Jim Lincoln from Nebraska writes: Ivan Karamazov wrote: Jim Lincoln from Nebraska writes: The Roman Road of Arminians The Apostle Paul was an Arminian? Ivan you've been listening to too many women preachers here on SermonAudio! - what women preachers? Please name some that are on sermon audio my arminian friend
Jim Lincoln you are lost. Follow the plan for life that God himself laid out for us in his Holy word and lay your politics aside. Man cannot cure any of these issues in and of himself, only God can. Universal health care etc etc. Repent and believe.
I am certainly not a KJV only person. However I see that most modern translations exist to support the publisher and certain preachers that have their books published by them support it.
I recently met Mike Fabarez at a conference. Impressed me as a faithful preacher, he's on SA and I have enjoyed his perspective on many scriptures. I was surprised to learn he is in California as I thought by hearing the news California was totally void.
Christopher I have been pondering that question myself this week. Repentance and a subsequent change in behavior, a genuine surrender to the will of God and surrender of ones own will. May not be all correct but that's where I am right now..,
Answers Academy has good foundational information in it. Nothing too technical to understand. My oldest were in their early teens when we did it and they both really enjoyed the curriculum. We then used selected portions in a Sunday evening teen Bible study.
Some creation apologetics 👍 I took my family through the Answers Academy years ago and we all enjoyed and benefited from it. I am glad to hear this is a blessing to you. A visit to the Creation Museum is a great follow up. Are you leading an adult class or other?
